I had the privilege of visiting Dr. Shabnam Shavakh for urgent care recently, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr. Shavakh displayed exceptional professionalism, compassion, and expertise during my visit. She listened carefully to my concerns, asked thorough questions, and provided clear explanations about my condition and the recommended treatment. Her swift and accurate diagnosis, combined with her ability to address my urgent medical needs efficiently, truly set her apart.
Went here at 3pm on a Monday about 10 min after talking on the phone to who Im assuming was the front desk nurse. Told her Id be in soon.Got there, the door was locked, lights off, multiple UPS sorry we missed you post it notes on the grimey looking front door. Not sure why this place is listed on Google as a business. It looked straight up abandoned.Ended up going to Carbon Health Urgent Care not too far off on Cherry Ave. They got me in and out in under 20 min.Not sure what is going on with this business, Google needs to remove this place from the map.
I visited this clinic in early March with COVID symptoms to confirm a case. The doctor seemed competent, but the billing practices are concerning. They just did a standard COVID test with a swab, and I got the results in ~15 minutes. There were no other tests or medical procedures involved. The clinic staff did not provide an estimate for the Covid diagnostic test upfront, when I inquired about potential charges.Later, the clinic billed my insurance nearly $400, which even my insurance advocate deemed excessive. They covered only a small, reasonable portion, leaving the clinic to charge the remaining balance to me.I called the Instant Urgent Care billing department to negotiate, but they were fully aware of their practices and completely uncooperative. If you are considering this clinic and cannot confirm the price of their services upfront, I would stay away from this institution. where even a basic COVID test diagnostic costs more than similar services at Stanford and PAMF.
The doctor was just terrible. If I could describe worse than terrible then that would be the word. I was having severe back pain, the doctor poked at my lower back and kept asking me if I could feel pain. I responded repeatedly saying that I don’t feel pain when that happens. Constantly, he kept doing the same thing saying that “I can’t do anything if you can’t tell me where the pain is.” A back and forth conversation of the same dialogue, where he even said that if you don’t feel the pain where I’m designating at then there is no pain. Constantly, I’m in so much pain from getting up out of bed or a chair yet this doctor made me feel like my problem was worthless. Do not come this urgent care if you are looking for someone that is sincere and able to hear your pain.
I purposely scheduled this timeslot to not have to deal with the doctor. I did on my last visit where I left a bad review, but he was there anyway. Well done, urgent care thanks for the heads up. I will now use my insurance is telehealth to ask the questions I need and get the prescriptions I need. This doctor once againdid not seem to be interested at all to be there and I’ll apparently have to find a new place to go for primary care
The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. Dr. Shavakh is a very good listener and gave me the 2 referals that I needed. She answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. I would definitely recommend this clinlc.
The receptionist was very nice and she took my blood pressure. She was kind, professional and personable the doctor on the other hand was very condescending did not have good bedside man And I found him to be rude so I got up and walked out
No frills, but also no xray at this location. I do not know what other imaging services they may have, but they send you off on your own with your order. You will need to know how to ask for network providers etc. I would not recommend this place for injuries.
No, I would NOT recommend this location at all. The waiting times are extremely long, and the doctors are rude. While the front desk staff are nice, when I returned to inquire about an extra charge on my visit, they hung up without providing any explanation. Rude staff and doctors, along with an extra charge and refusal to explain—best to avoid this place.
They had an appointment available and there was no wait. However my prescription was never received by the pharmacy. Multiple attempts to call customer service were not answered. I had to go back in person and request to send it again. The second time did not go through, too. Thankfully I requested a paper prescription that was accepted by the pharmacy.
Space felt dirty.Clinical tray had a pube on it.The treating physician did not weigh the patient. The mistake was corrected only after it was noted by the patient. The pharmacist noted that the prescribed dosage for the medication was incorrect - prescribing 5 days of 1000mg of amoxicillin per day for a 21kg patient - noting it should have been closer to 90mg/kg per day for 10 days. I dont know whos right at the moment, but Im calling another doctor tomorrow.
The ladies at the front desk were so nice. My appt was for a different day and there was a mix up… and they were able to accommodate me today. So helpful!
Needed to find a place where I could get a medical examination report , for a DOT physical. Tried instant urgent care on Monterey hwy . They were able to see me the same day, very professional and understanding people . Thanks for making the time for me and your care .
I like coming to this location. The staff and esp doctors are really thorough and helpful. The wait inside can be a bit long at times but you get copious doctor time when it’s your turn
Dr. Kaur was great. She is compassionate, patient, & understanding. I came in over an hour prior to my appointment since my symptoms were worsening, & I’m very happy that this office was able to make room to see me. She & her staff explained to me what I had, what the treatment would be, & when I’d need to follow up again. Overall, I’d come back here in a heartbeat.
Very prompt at reception. Doctor was right on time and courteous. His diagnosis and confidence was very helpful.
I had excruciating pain in my backfor three days. Any movement felt like a knife stab. I couldnt get up or walk without screaming. I never had this much pain in my life. I have a high threshold of pain. But this was of the charts. My wife called Dr Kaurs office at 3 pm and was able to get a 3:30 pm appointment. There was no waiting. The attending PA gave me a shot and after consulting with Dr Kaur called in a prescription. We PC picked up the prescription. By 8 pm the pain was almost gone. I thank God for Dr Kaurs care.
The front desk lady was very much helpful. The doctor was the best of the visit. Very, very understanding and accommodating. Thank you
I went in there on 12/13/23. I had a sore throat, cough, my asthma was acting up & my chest hurt when I coughed. They did a flu, Covid & strep test. They didn’t take my temperature & they didn’t examine me. The doctor came in & told me that the tests were negative & he didn’t know what to do because I was on medication for my heart. I told him that I had bronchitis a month earlier & it felt like it was back. He then listened to my lungs & said nothing. 3 days later, I went to a follow at a different facility. I was given antibiotics, and 2 different medications for my asthma & a breathing treatment. The doctor on Monterey is a quack.
This was one of best experiences I’ve ever had at a Dr. office. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. But most importantly they were caring each staff member have the biggest hearts they made me feel so comfortable and helped me out questions I had and gave me valuable advice. Doc oh my gos! She was wonderful not only first class medical attention but to really listen to me and hear what I was saying but u can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and that is the most valuable trait anyone can have. Thank you so much I appreciate you all so much! I highly recommend this medical office 100 stars!!
I felt very comfortable putting my life in the hands in this facility. Even though theyre just as busy helping patients as any other urgent care center, the staff made me feel like I was properly taken care of in a timely manner. I had an unbelievably time-sensitive medical issue yesterday that Instant Urgent Care was able to help me resolve immediately. Dr. R Kaur was extremely understanding, quick-to-respond, and comprehensive. I would definitely return for future issues, even if Im make a large detour!
Booked an appointment online for a physical in advance and also received a confirmation email. But the center canceled my appointment right when I was about to leave home to get to the appointment (essentially 45 mins before the appointment). We were traveling in 10 days and it became difficult to get another appointment on time before our travel and delayed our application.Online appointment system cannot be trusted and the clinic cannot be trusted to keep appointments, creating a lot of delays where time matters. Would recommend to go a more trustworthy clinic.
The website makes it very easy to schedule appointments and complete all of the required paperwork beforehand. Once I got to the clinic, it was a super fast process. I was out within 10 minutes of getting there for my COVID test. Plus, I got my results within 2 hours! The staff is really friendly and super helpful. They helped me out quickly and ensured that I got my results before my doctors appointment!!
To start, my doctor was great (when I was finally seen) so that is why this has more than 1 star. I booked an appointment for Saturday morning the night prior. Less than an hour before my appointment I received a call from a lady informing me the office I scheduled under was actually closed. Now, why I was able to book an appointment if it was closed that day I am unsure. The lady proceeded to let me know that I would receive information on a virtual consultation instead. That never happened. I start to scramble and call all the locations in the area and not one person comes to the phone. I call back the number that called me about 3 times and it only rings once and the call ends every time. I proceed to book another appointment online for another location and finally get seen. It should never have been that difficult. Misinformation back to back and uncertain whether Id ever get the help I needed.
My husband fell sick yesterday and went to the urgent care. We asked for Dr.Kaur who unfortunately was not working that day (Kaur was excellent and had seen my husband before). Instead, Dr. Rajiv kumra was the doctor. The doctor was very rude, impatient and the entire appointment felt rushed. He prescribed some medication without even going over what those medications were for. To my surprise, an antibiotic was prescribed for a viral infection (per their diagnosis) and I am still following up with the urgent care to get clarity. Overall, had a horrible experience with dr. Kumra
Would not recommend this place AT ALL. The nurses were very nice but the doctor was extremely rude and was yelling at me the whole time for no reason. I was just asking normal questions and then the doctor went off and started repeatedly saying things like “there is nothing I can do”. Jeez if you are that unwilling to see patients then just don’t do urgent care man. This is just purely unprofessional. Such a waste of time.
Very efficient and convenient! I was able to get a same day covid test appointment covered by my insurance. The process for scheduling and submitting information online or by text is so easy an convenient. I tried calling first but the message said due to staffing and call volumes they werent able to answer all calls. They suggested to text and after doing so, I received a response within minutes. The process when you arrive for the appointment is organized as well. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time. Had to wait outside in a short line to check in. After checking in was told to wait in my car or outside for a phone call to return for my test. I was done and on the road all within 40 minutes.
Positive experience with Christina D. She was able answer all my questions and reassured me with my issues. Definitely cheerful and positive vibe.
The entire staff was very friendly. I didn’t have to wait long after my appointment time. Positive experience overall. Thanks!
The consulting physician was helpful and pleasant to speak with. The overall service could be improved. We waited online for 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment time for our Virtual Visit to start. As a follow-up, we were informed that we would receive a text with info for a follow up visit, but we never received that communication. Very frustrating system to work with.
We came in for a scheduled Covid test so we could obtain travel documents. Aliza took very good care of all 4 of us. She was so very efficient and thorough with processing or paperwork. That is the best customer service we experienced in a very long time.
My first visit. I was pleasantly surprised. The level of care and service I received was excellent!! So convenient too. Ill be using Instant Urgent Care for my primary medical attention.
Amazing experience. Scheduled same day Covid test.comfortably waited outside to be called. Techs were friendly and efficient. Only waited 5 minutes for test after check in. Their text message method for adding insurance card is super efficient.I would give 10 stars if possible!
I made an appointment to get a covid rapid test and was surprised at how fast I was able to book one online. In less than an hr, I showed up to the clinic and was in and out in under 10 minutes. I got my results in about an hr. The process was super fast and easy. I will definitely be coming back if I need to get tested again in the future!
Very quick and efficient getting my covid test done today! Very nice surprise for very little waiting😊I am a regular patient at Urgent Care so everything was smooth. My results showed up on their portal within 45 minutes! Im not sure how others get their results back but it was very quick and easy for both making an appt and getting results on the portal.
It was quick to see a physician. She was informative and kind to explain my health situation.
I went in to have a covid test done for myself and my family. The staff working the desk, and administering the tests were both extremely friendly and helpful. They didn’t make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. They answered all of my questions and were very patient with my younger kids getting tested. I highly recommend coming here. It’s clean, fast and they are super friendly and helpful!
Other than trying to figure out how they were doing things due to covid, and not being able get through on the phone because of high call volume, once I was in the door it was really quick compared to my previous experiences at various other urgent care centers. From the time I walked out of my house to the time I walked back in the door at home after my appointment all took an hour (granted Im lucky enough to only live a 4 min drive away). And Matt The P. A. I saw was nice, easy to understand, and thorough!
Very fast process. I had my check in, phone call, and Covid test swab all under 15 minutes. My results uploaded onto my portal in under 2 hours. Would come back again! I made a same day appointment. So much better than waiting 1-2 hours at other places to get tested
On the first appointment, a Dr. didn’t show after waiting on the video call for 35 minutes. After 50 minutes they called me and accused me of missing the appointment because I wasn’t there when they finally arrived. They said they would have a doctor call me back, but no one did. On the second appointment, I waited the video call for 15 minutes before I got a phone call from a doctor who said he didn’t see me online and the video must not be working. After the appointment was over, I saw him log onto the video call briefly and the off again, so it must have been working to some degree. After the appointment, I was told I’d get a follow up message with instructions within 10 minutes, and hours later I still have not received anything except an email to create a password and log into their records portal, which has a user experience from about 2 decades ago. Not only was it awful, but I could not find instructions there either. In my opinion, I would not recommend using this service unless you have to. And it certainly hasn’t been “Instant” or “Urgent”.
I went in when I cut my finger and had to Get stitches. I was prepared to be there for a long time, but i was very surprised to be in and out very quickly! Not much waiting time, and everyone was great! Both of my follow up appointments were the same, and everyone working there each time were all wonderful- front desk staff, nurses, and doctors. Best urgent care experience I’ve ever had and would definitely recommend and go back if needed!
It was very impressed with the care. My appointment was at 1:15 and I was called in on time. The receptionist was very friendly and even printed out the prescription form for me. The nurse was also very friendly and took good care of me. I also like Doctor Alla. She is great and full of very helpful information.
I love going to Instant Urgent Care for our rapid covid-19 tests! The wait is never more than 5-10 minutes and that’s on a busy day. The staff is super friendly and the nurse is very gentle while swabbing the inside of our nose. We always receive our results in about an hours time. Going to Instant Urgent Care is way better than sitting in a drive-thru line.
I went for a COVID test recently and had an appointment that was right at opening time. Employee arrived a minute before opening time and was rushing to unlock the door, turn on the lights, turn on the computer and wait for computer to load, etc. By this time a moderately long line/crowd had formed outside the clinic entrance. There was only the one employee to check people in as well as administer services and so progress was very slow and we had to wait longer than usual. I can understand people arriving late to work here and there so that was just mildly annoying, but this location is just too understaffed and so service quality really suffers.
Had to schedule the appointment three times and keep following up before someone actually called for the televisit. And due to their scheduling issue, the televisit was over the phone instead of having the camera on. Very disappointing experience this time, specially with Priyadarshini and Aishwarya who helped schedule the appointments.
This clinic is undoubtedly the best urgert care facility (San Jose & Santa Clara facilities) I’ve ever been to. Special thanks to all the PA’s and doctors who tended to my wounds. 100% as good as walking into a fullblown ER. I was able to make a same day appt & was seen within 10 minutes of arrival. Treatment was throughly explained & w/o confusion. Thank You Doc Kava & staff, Melissa for seeing me today on Monterey. 100 stars …
Same day appointment and same day RT PCR covid -19test. Covered by Insurance!- They were super nice and the waiting was just about 5 min.- I have my consultation with the doctor over the phone.-My appointment was in the morning.- My results were in my portal within 3 hours.
Well organized. Doctor and nurses are nice. I got 2 Vaccines from there. Its very convenience.
Took RT-PCR test for my travel and the process was very smooth. Excellent service by the employees and got the results within an hour. They emailed me the travel certificate and made sure I received it. 5 stars any day!!
Great place to get a covid test! The gal working the front desk was professional, polite, helpful and friendly! I felt welcomed and supported. Results came back quickly too! Will definitely go there again.
Had a virtual appointment at 920 am. Got on 5 minutes early, throughout waiting for 30 minutes i started texting the number to see where the doctor was at, someone finally texted me back at 950 telling me it was the “service.” (Even though my sister and mother had the same experience with them living in a different area) I finally got on the phone with someone, the receptionist or whoever, & she was so rude. Cutting me off, had an attitude, just horrible service. Once i got ahold of the doctor it was fairly smooth from there. The staff was just incredibly rude and unprofessional. I only had to book because i needed a rapid test but if you need any help for an emergency just know they will take their sweet time until they decide to.
Had a great experience this morning getting a PCR that was required before my cruise vacation. Ramona at the desk was warm and helpful and Alyssa who did my test was also supportive, professional and gentle. I arrived early, was tested early and out of there in 15 minutes. I will definitely be back and tell others about this super service. (By the way I am a Stanford Nurse, so I know what a good experience looks like!)Update- Returned 2 weeks later for PCR post trip and after my cruise roommate tested positive and became ill. I, too, had symptoms. I had a 9 am appointment but clinic was closed. Two other patients were waiting outside with me. None of us could get anyone to answer the phone line. The staff arrived and one had picked the other up as she had car trouble. Same nice ladies as above. However, I was then advised I could not get a PCR, only an antigen test which was just as good. It is NOT and is not recommended for those with exposure or seeking to protect someone at high risk, like my roommate with leukemia. So even though I made my appointment for PCR two weeks ago, when I came to the appointment I was not able to get what I scheduled. One of the other poor patients had GI symptoms and had scheduled online to see a provider, only to be told they did not have any at this site and he needed to go to another clinic site. He had to wait for his ride to come back and pick him up and was uncomfortable. SOOOO be aware this clinic does not provide what they promise. Not the two ladies fault- this is an issue with the parent company who sets policies. Bottom line- I got a PCR elsewhere and although my antigen test from Instant urgent care was negative, the PCR was positive and I have covid which I could have given to my roommate!!
The process was really easy. The doctor was proactive and I was able to get treatment and a covid test. She listened to my concerns and medical history and that was greatly appreciated. It was hard to get ahold of people to ask questions before my visit and Im waiting for communication about when/where to go for my rapid test, but overall I am very pleased with the service.
Very professional and helpful. I scheduled my appt. on line and was given a link for a virtual visit with a provider who recommended being tested for COVID-19. I was then texted an appointment block of time. I was seen within 5 minutes of blocked time and administered test in a very professional manner. Whole process took 30 minutes from booking to completion of test. Amazing!
Completely unorganized! Waited a whole month for them to correct an error on MRI order..Phone calls are a min 15 min wait IF THAT! Multiple calls and multiple scheduling errors has led me to believe there are huge issues internally. Im currently on another call that has continuously ringed for 5 mins no one picks up! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR TREATMENT..UNLESS YOU WANT MAJOR DELAYS AND HUGE COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS!Update 09/27/2022I am completely disgusted with this staff Mellisa here. I had arrived early to a 10A.M appointment their call center told me to go in person due to amount of pain I was in. I waited over 45 mins in lobby and followed up with front desk if Dr was ready for me, Mellisa advised me she didnt check me in yet! A WHOLE 45 MINS LATER! I then went home to take pain medication and on my return within 5 mins I noticed a message that Melissa cancelled my appointment I waited over 45 mins in lobby for. When I returned Mellisa asked me if I was ready to see the doctor I responded with Yes I am, but I would like to fill out grievance for the uneccessary wait time and cancelation Mellisa then responded for me to go somewhere else! Its very disgusting to be treated like this.. especially when It was within my rights to file a grievance! Dr.Kaur had then called and agreed with her incompetent colleagues action, Not even considering the wait time and amount of pain I was in, let alone my protected rights! Had no complaints of doctor kaur untill this day! Do not come here unless you expect very sub par medical treatment! They are not aligned with standardized level of care! And obviously do not respect patients medical treatment or rights!
Provided insurance card, got a covid test, they state I never had insurance. My insurance stated I am covered and they never got a claim from Instant Urgent Care. They also mistyped the date wrong on the test date. This whole experience has just been a huge waste of time and money. I wouldnt recommend Instant Urgent Care or Athena Health to anyone.
I was very impressed with this Urgent Care as it was my first time coming, I didn’t know what to expect. The woman at the front desk greeted me as I came in and I was taken within 10 minutes of my scheduled appt. The Dr was very nice and gave me valuable information. I will definitely use this facility in the future!
CANNOT GET A HOLD OF ANYONE.I am trying to schedule a covid rapid test. Before getting one scheduled, you have to video chat with a doctor and then they are supposed to send you a link for your appointment.Scheduled a video chat for 3:40 PM on 8/9/21. Waited 30 minutes and no one ever joined. I called all the numbers that they provide and could not get a hold of anyone. THREE HOURS later, I get a call asking if I still want a video chat. I say, yes. They did warn me 5 people were ahead of me so waited about 30 minutes for someone to join. The video chat was short and the doctor told me that I would receive a text message with a link for my covid 19 test appointment. It is the next day and I have not received anything. What makes it even worse is that no one answers any phone calls.
I was forced to do a virtual appointment given my circumstances which is fine and understandable that’s not the issue. The Dr i was seen by was suppose to write me a note for my employer being that I’ve been off and she recommended I’d stay home for the next two days till I get my results back yet has not done so I’ve checked my profile online and nothing every instant urgent care contact does not answer their phone since yesterday I’ve left multiple voicemails and no call back frustrating and a huge inconvenience looks like I’ll have to take a trip down to the office since no one can seem to answer or return any calls
Whole process for COVID 19 test was terrific. Went online to the website and scheduled a same day covid test (Check the availability of appointments early in the morning a lot of slots available). Went in, the staff were very friendly and informative. The whole check in and swab took less then 5 mins. Defiantly made it very easy and convenient, it was not packed with people nor was it difficult to get in and out of parking lot.
You have excellent staff at your new office at Hugo Terrace in Fremont. I was able to get tested showing my confirmation email although they could not initially find me in the system. Fast, efficient, friendly service. THANK YOU.CorazonImeldaMarie
Helpul Medical Staff. Nurse assigned was very efficient and skilfull in administering the vaccines. The Doctor who evaluated me was so respectful and caring! Definitely I am in good hands with the Instant Urgent Care Team!
I was exposed to a positive case of Covid on a Sunday. Had a virtual appointment on the following Wednesday which is part of the process to secure the in person test. Not sure why but they assumed I wanted a rapid test. During the virtual visit I corrected that assumption and said I did not need a rapid test. I was given a window of time to show up for the in person test the next day, Thursday. I went for the test by car, which was not a long wait, maybe 10 minutes. They gave me a rapid test but not ever being tested before I was unaware it was a rapid test until after the swab when they told me I would have my results within an hour. I corrected them as I did not need the rapid test, no symptoms and no need to pay extra. They had to go check the records, found they made a mistake and gave me the PCV (I think that’s the acronym). They advertise 2-4 days for results. I got the results today, Tuesday, August 10. I couldn’t return to work without the results. I was exposed with a group of people and they got tested on Friday, August 6 through the County and they had their results the next day. Overall not a great experience because of the mistakes and length of time it took to get the results. When I called to follow up about where the test results were on the 9th, I was purposely hung up on because the office was to busy to answer. I made a second call and the phone just rang and rang. I sent a text to the number they gave for questions but never got a response. Take what you want from this but I would just go to the county next time. By the way? I tested negative.
My son had a appt for Thursday @ 1145 I go there @ 11:15 and the clinic is closed I called the other locations and was told this location was told and had to drive 25mins outta my way no body called me to tell me this was closed in the morning so I could make other plans very inconvenient and unprofessional
Went there for covid test. Initially there was not any appointment available however few windows opened up during the day and I was able to book for the day. It took around 30 mins end to end upon reaching there. Staff was polite and went about their business. Overall a great experience considering it has been a nightmare getting covid tested now a days. Hoping to receive rapid test results later today and PCR result in 2-3 days.
The two ladies at front desk were friendly, cheerful and professional. We were the first customers coming for corvid testing. We waited less than one hour and had the results. Great 👍👍 service. Thanks.
Their website has caused me so much anxiety. I’ve only had bad experiences with this place, they don’t email results or call, their website is so beyond buggy Iv’e been timed out before the timer is up multiple times, and I’ve tried to book appointments for open time blocks that ended up already being scheduled. The amount of times I have had to renter me and my families information for their individually booked virtual appointments because you can’t just do one for the entire family. In addition to the time I successfully scheduled an in person for once to show up and they’re on lunch, for my scheduled appointment. Both me and another man who separately had his own appointment were told to leave. If I could leave a lower score I would.
We got COVID tested on Monday and were told that we would get the results by the end of the day. We didnt receive any emails, texts, or phone calls for 2 entire days. The only way we were able to get the results were by going in to the store. It still hasnt even been updated on our portal.UPDATE: Its a year later and they keep trying to randomly add charges. This is ridiculous and no one in their right mind should come here. AVOID!!!
I had to wait a bit for someone to join the call but they have a tightly packed schedule of calls due to covid. The doctor was really nice, heard me out and helped me schedule an appointment for a test. Quick call, appreciate the work theyre doing!
I havent over the years had a primary Dr. that I felt was the best fit for me.On my last visit I clicked with my Dr. he seemed to be of the same health situation as me and extremely relatable. Very happy in his knowledge and candor. Will make sure I go in for visits when he is working. This was my original post, still here but still agree.
I got tested here in Jan for covid-19, and it seemed more straightforward then. Harder to find the right option on the website, so I accident just signed up for an office visit. You changed that to a video consult then the test. So it worked out. Ha ha, took about 15min this time when I got to the test site, whereas in Jan because it was so crowded, took way more than an hour. Also, this is my 3rd negative from you, so thats great too. All 3 were exposures at work, but I never had any symptoms anyway.
MA Eliza was friendly, accommodating, a good listener. Dr. Kaur was knowledgeable, kind & sensitive, and cared about not giving too many prescriptions. I didnt feel rushed despite the nature of urgent care. Ive had many bad experiences with doctors, and this visit was a welcome relief.
Darlene, was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Excellent service. Received results within an hour, along with printed copy. I will certainly use this clinic again. She made my day.
I had to wait about 15-20 minutes before someone saw me, but the medical person who saw me virtually was very attentive and thorough. I made a mistake in telling her the city closest to me while she was on line with me. I tried to call your office within 5-10 minutes after realizing my mistake, but no one answered the phone the two times I called. It was very frustrating. So, I gave up and went to another location not associated with your company.
Made appointment for Covid test for travel. Arrived 6 minutes early and was told to wait outside for call. 20 minutes passed and no one calls. Went inside and receptionist asked me to get out. She doesn’t even explain how long the wait is and the person finally called and she has no clues what testings are accepted for travel. This is really bad and unprofessional.
The one doctor I trust no longer seems to attend, which is fine, but the rest of the staff was VERY unhelpful.Doctors-- My recent doctor spent 15 minutes explaining why I dont need to get immunization shots and her philosophy on it, and told me incorrect information about my illness that...Ive had and managed for 13 years at this point. The staff:Im doing immunization shots, and.. Ive been yelled at by receptionists over the phone to come in for a shot, when it was too early to get it. And...I can be wrong, so I go in, wait an hour, the doctor comes in and tells me its too soon to have a shot. So....I wasted an hour and 10$ co-pay, cool. So, after 6 months of immunization shots being given to me, I get a print out of what Ive had done, and...they did not keep track of them correctly! How!?Long-story-short, this place has gone down-hill. And it sucks overall. I will never go back there, and you all should avoid this place as well.
I had connectivity issues and the team was able to work with me to still receive a visit. That meant a lot to me because I was in pain and miserable. The visit was well prepared, organized, and addressed my problems. They made sure I was safe and got the care I needed.Hopefully, I dont need Urgent Care again, but 100% will go back to them if I do.
Not happy with the front desk girl in how her customer care is. I used my waze app, it does not take you to the location because its a new urgent care, I lost 10 min trying to find it. To get there from work on my lunch hour to test, I made app. In advance, and they call me 30 min. Before my app. And tell me I have to have a virtual app first, while I was at work. Thats not cool. Then you drive up behind the building and sit and wait. The nurse that came out was quick and very nice. I have to test weekly, I would advise finding the location first before you schedule app.
This office is expertly run by seasoned Medical Assistants, including Eliza and Abeera, who know how to handle a patient, and are experts at communication with the doctor on duty. Dr. Ramandeep Kaur has been my PCP for about 8 years. She always displays a lovely bedside manner, and handles the details of the appointment with the utmost efficiency and care for my personal comfort. She is a true professional, and a compassionate one, at that!
I had a covid test. The procedure went well but the delivery of the result was disappointing and took until the next day for a rapid test. Instant Care had emailed me many emails about the appointment and even this survey. I was under the assumption I would get an email. Instead the next day I called their office and learned I must sign up for the their portal and create an account and a password. How much easier to just email me? If this is federal regulation, then when you take the swab for the test give a slip of paper with directions. Anyone who is getting a Covid Test is already under some stress, make it easier on them. If this is your own protocol for delivering results - fix it.
The process for Covid testing was really easy and if you get the virtual visit in the morning you can get tested and rapid test results same day. One thing was a little confusing but it was my first time. Could have made it clearer that you have to create a patient account on the Portal in order to get your results.
If there was a choice of minus stars I would dothat. My husband made a 9:00 appointment at the SanRamon CA location for a rapid COVID test as we were told we suddenly needed one to fly the next day to the Bahamas . Upon arriving we found the facility closed!!! We received a phone call that told us we needed an appointment with a care giver first. It was set up virtually at 11:50AM with an N.P. She finally became available at 12:20. We were told we would get a text telling us when to come in for the test. Never receiving the text we went back at 2:00PM as the facility closed at 4:00. We were given the tests and told the nice man we needed it emailed as we did not have an account. This was not done . After trying for over an hour I logged into the account. It did not show where the test was done which was required by the Bahamas We tried to call every number we could find and left messages and never got through. We even went back to San Ramon at 11:00 but it was closed. This was extremely frustrating. I hope they will let me on the plane!!
There is a pandemic. I had a cold. Some of my family are immunocompromised. My doctor says I should get a Covid test, my insurance provider says it is fully paid for. I call Instant Urgent Care because I live a block away. They need me to see their doctor first. It seems odd, that there is a barrier to getting tested, but fine. It is morning, when can I see a doctor, 2:50pm is the next available appointment. Now I have to download their app, fine. Log in and it says we are waiting for your provider. 30 minutes after my appointment was to begin, I begin to call to see what is the delay. It goes to voicemail 5 times. 45 minutes after my appointment was to begin they answer the phone and say they do not see me as logged into the system. I close and open their app and they finally see me, but there was no way for me to know that they couldn’t see me while I sat in front of my video call for 45 minutes! Then I was told to be patient... thanks.I eventually talked to a doctor who asked simple questions and said they would schedule me a test, but that they are just now stopping testing for the day. These delays will cause people to not get tested. These delays do not help if we are all trying to fight this pandemic. Something in the system needs to change if I can login and wait with no way of knowing that the office cannot see that I have logged in at all. Very frustrating.24 hour delay is too long.
I really like my doctor (Dr. Kaur) but the receptionists and service at Instant Urgent Care is abominable. They dont pick up their phone or communicate well so it is almost impossible to have referrals sent to other doctors or get a timely appointment. I would never come back here and have had to go through the hassle of switching my PCP to get away from this nightmare.
After 8 hours, I’m still waiting for covid test results that were supposed to be available in “a couple of hours”. I had to be interviewed by a doctor to get the test. No one answers the phone or responds to my texts. The message service at the website doesn’t work. The office claimed they were having abnormally high demand for services but when I went there, I was the only patient. In Mexico, I got a covid test with no wait and no appointment. No interview or requirement to show insurance. Results sent to me in less than an hour. Cost me $8.Welcome to the US health care system.
Virtual call for what ? Who came up with that idea ? To get a Covid test it should be in person no waste of time. I waited 40 min for virtual tele call. I Could not get response from virtual so never got the appointment. Then got a call saying that that they would call me for the virtual appointment They never called me back.I cannot ever recommend this people. This is supposed to be Urgent Care. If it was Urgent Care they would bring people for testing immediately and give COVID results ASAP ...within an hour. Bay Area services are pathetic and incompetent. No follow up Not professional. Wasted time driving to different offices to find out they dont provide Covid tests. What ? Why ? sad !Better. To Just go to your primary PCP Dr. or to emergency This people have so many 1 star reviews. Dont waste time and gas.
My family of 3 got tested back in July after being around someone who tested positive (thank God we were negative & that person recovered fully). And now testing again. Video conference went much smoother this second time around (July video conference did not work). Getting tested today at 1:30p (according to the health care worker on my video conference 3day test more accurate for those with no symptoms)
Im very happy I went to Instant Urgent Care for a DOT. The facility was a great place very clean very well maintained I was extremely appreciative of the health care staff’s overall helpfulness and patients with phone calls and just all health care necessities. I would like to take the time to personally say Thank you to Instant Urgent Care and a big thank you to Dr. Matt Felix PA-C for filling out my DOT in a professional and experienced manner he was an absolutely fantastic person to talk to and be around great personality great skills, just an overall great person. Thanks you!-William :)
This was the only place nearby offering rapid covid testing so we could attend a public event with my child not fully vaccinated yet. I appreciated that we could walk in, wait in a room, swab and walk out. It is not a fancy place but they filled the need and they were kind and efficient.
Had 2 visits to this place and heres my take,- Dr. Kaur is very professional and handles your visit with care.- Both Primary and Urgent care- Very friendly front desk, always smiling. They are flexible to take you in even at times you are late by few minutes- Making Appointments are quick in their website or a phone call. Walk-ins welcome.- Wait time? No. From the time I checked in, I was taken into the room in 5 minutes. Trust me!! Havent seen any other urgent or primary care practice beat this time.- The best thing about them is their Patient portal. You get to see your test results, medications, manage appointments , billing, payment, all in one portal account thats created on first visit- Via the messaging system in the Patient Portal, you can also keep in touch with the Doctor or Office if you need any prescription refills, any questions or concerns.Trust me again! Dr. Kaur responds same hour or day and even in weekends. This is what I need when I go confused and need a urgent medical clarification***** They keep up with INSTANT in their name :)Practice is very clean
Went up for a follow up care on some testing I did and experiences with an anabiotic I never took which really helped my sinuses. My doctor checked my sinuses my ears my eyes and said that before my sinuses were pretty bad and from the x-ray I got they were pretty bad but today they seemed a lot better and scheduled me to come back in two weeks to see if they stayed that way or if the allergies came back again she would prescribe an allergy medication.
I was told after my virtual appointment that I would Get a follow up text with an actual appointment for a rapid Covid test. I never got one. I tried calling the number that was on the confirmation for my virtual appointment and there was no answer. I left a message and four hours later have not heard anything. I’m very disappointed after reading some great reviews and feel very let down.
Dr Julie Samora, was very kind considerate and not in any hurry when we asked her so many questions. She is very considerate, logical and easy to talk to. The clinic and the help is always very pleasant and surprisingly so easy to get in and be seen. Thanks Gio
Great experience with the staff. Helpful and got things done as promised. When I had a glitch in the portal with getting a letter for travel one of the office staff made sure to follow up with me to make sure I received the replacement before she left for the day. Thank you!
My provider was 20 minutes late for our appointment. Instead of a doctor, I was given a nurse practitioner. She spent maybe two minutes talking to me then ordered me a Covid-19 test per my request because I had been exposed to someone with the virus. I was not able to go to work for an entire week while waiting for the results because I work at VA hospital. I emailed them three times asking for a doctors note stating that I was not able to go to work due to having symptoms and possible virus, but they never responded. When I went to review the doctors notes in the portal, there is no information at all about our conversation.
My doctor gets a much higher rating but the administration is terrible. Takes them ages to bill and setting up an appointment with my specific doctor is very hard to do. Been trying to set up an appointment by calling & emailing for weeks to no avail. So they asked a couple of weeks to provide feedback so here it is.!
I took the rapid test at 2pm, and it’s currently the next morning and still have not received my test result. I called and no one is picking up. I also tried to write a message and have not heard back either. The rapid test was $175, and I was suppose to receive my results within 2-4 hours.
My doctor and assisting staff were excellent! I especially liked that the exam room is germ free and you could tell that everything had been cleaned as much as possible! You would never find a hospital that cared enough to make there patient recovery area germ free. I did not have to wait long in the waiting area and my doctor saw me right away, even though I was very early to the appointment!Sincerely,Rondee Striegel
The most unprofessional healthcare experience I have ever had. I came in regards to a lump in my abdomen and symptoms of acid reflux. I was checked in, paperwork filled out, bp/hr and oxygen all taken down. I am sitting in the exam room waiting to be seen by the doctor when I hear from behind a closed door in the reception area the doctor exclaiming the personal reason for my visit out loud. I could hear her irately announcing that “ She has a lump in her abdomen? Her other symptoms sound like COVID so she needs to go to the ER. We don’t do any imaging today anyways.” so not only did she explain my prognosis out loud unrightfully, in my opinion, she lumped symptoms together told me I had Covid and that was the reason why I could not be seen. It really sounded like she just didn’t want to see me because the facilities needed to give me proper care we’re not available that day. I did not even receive the courtesy of seeing the doctor or be told this information by the doctor and was curtly told there was nothing that could be done by the receptionist. Even the receptionist seemed confused as to how my symptoms correlated with Covid. I was never asked my Covid status even though I am vaccinated and when I asked to see the doctor the receptionist said she probably won’t want to talk me. I have been a victim of different forms of physical abuse so coming to a doctor to share info about my health and body is extremely difficult. This has made it even more so and I will struggle going to the doctor going forward because of this horrible experience. Please stay away from this facility if you are looking for proper bedside manner and a doctor who has enough human decency to speak to their own patient. This was the 5138 Monterey suite G location
Excellent Urgent Care Find - Easy to find, helpful front desk & specialists staff, short wait time, & very efficient + professional doctor. Was able to prescribe immediate urgent pain prescription and schedule prompt follow-up. Will definitely be returning ^ recommending for for any urgent health care needs.
I called due a work related injury. The receptionist put me on hold, but I started driving there while on hold. When I arrived I hung up and went inside, to see two young hispanic woman working on their nails. Nobody else was around. They told me they only do covid testing. They could have just told me that on the phone!!!
The response was very quick to get setup for my appointment and be seen virtually by the doctor. My only comment is the verbal response on when I should get my appointment for my test v when I get my actual appointment time should be more consistent. But I am still giving 5 stars.
I was potentially exposed to coronavirus. I had a 5 minute teledoc meeting on Friday, with the promise of a follow-up text message with details on how to get tested. The text message never came, so I called the number on the website.I spoke to an incredibly rude woman, who cut me off mid-sentence and was nothing short of condescending. She told me to just show up between noon and 4. When I asked if I needed anything, I got a curt Just your Drivers License. When I asked where the clinic was located, she rattled off the website URL and told me to go look it up.I arrived at the clinic at 2:20 pm. All the lights were off, and the door was locked. There was a sign on the door, directing any COVID test patients with a pre-booked appointment around the back, where someone would come out to meet you at your car.... But I had just been told there was no way to book a test, I was just supposed to show up. How does that work?Long story short, theres no one here, and Im clearly not getting a test today. Terrible experience all around, and Ill never use this company for any medical attention again.
I went in for a COVID test and was very impressed with their professionalism. They were very well prepared and fast. Got my results in 30 minutes.(They were negative 😊)
One of the worst places to deal with for billing and payments. The doctor was great, but if you want billing nightmares, please feel free to go. It has been over 2 months and Im still waiting for a billing statement or invoice so I can reconcile. It seems like you will keep getting bills with no explanation, or not get any receipt even if you ask for it. If you call them, they always say the billing person is not in today, please call back on Monday or email. After writing 4 emails over 2 months, no one bothered to even acknowledge, let alone send the receipt. If you call on Monday, they say call back next week. How hard is it to email a receipt? I paid cash for a simple checkup at this clinic. What if you had insurance? Your billing nightmare will be severely more pronounced. Avoid this place at all costs. If Dr. Ramandeep Kaur is reading this - you need to move elsewhere. Your website says: our focus is on you. Thats absolute bs. Patient is the least of their concern. How much time one has to waste with you to just get a copy of the receipt or statement?
My son seen at the Fairfield Location. Appt was made for an telemedicine appt due to COVOID-19 symptoms. The NP was late to the appt , then told to get tested outside of the location, called to inform the clinic that he was waiting outside, he waited for a long time, mind you he is sick. Called the office to find out what was taking so long and they apologized, I guess they forgot about him. After the test he was told it would take 1-2 hours for results, waited all day and night but no results, had to call them he next morning for results which ended up being POSITIVE. Called them two days later for advice on his symptoms, no one answered the phone for over 40 mins. Called again and the NP answered , she was annoyed the entire conversation while asking her questions. I would NEVER recommend this clinic. Folks are already not feeling well and have to endure the stress of unprofessionalism while dealing with their illness. If I could give them half of one star I would.
Nicole is fantastic and so kind! She was great with both of my boys for their Covid test and was very patient with them. I couldn’t have asked for someone nicer!
They don’t care about you after the initial appointment. The provider I spoke with said they’d fax a lab slip to a testing site. I go to the site next day, no lab slip. I message the provider, call this location multiple times, absolutely no response. Why have a phone number if you’re not gonna pick up the phone? They wasted my time and they’ll waste yours too. Don’t come here.
The Dublin office is the worse after waiting an hour and half the lazy staff there came out took my information, never returned I went inside to ask how much longer and was told a few minutes, then the tech came outside to my car and said she ran out of test! Told me I had to drive to another location! I firmly believe I have been discriminated against and I will be seeing my attorney, I am an elderly black disabled man who has been sitting in a car for over 2 hours to get a test done! Totally unacceptable!
I never received an appointment after the video interview fir my Covid Test that I needed fir my trip. I received different log in info but not the real thing. I asked some questions texting to the number they have for questions but they were never returned.
My husband needed stitches on his hand. Hoping to avoid a long wait at the ER, we went to Instant Urgent Care closest to our house and were in and out in about an hour. Doctor was friendly and knowledgeable.
Needed a COVID Test for travel. Scheduling was simple, virtual visit was quick and painless, and my drive in test was performed comfortably without any delays. Recommend for sure if you need to get tested without all the fuss!
The web set up and pre-test rigermurall was more complex than I thought it would be.Once I got thru it it was smooth sailing.Check in and wait was less than 10 minutes overall.Insurance covered my costs. No bills, a REAL +.Got my results within the 4 hours they quoted.Took Both tests, a GREAT (Insurance covered) option. Fast results on the less accurate Quickie test and reliable results 2 days later.Im negative by nature so it was good to confirm that with 2 Covid tests.
I received great service and excellent customer support from the staff!
The wait for my appointment felt longer than it actually was (20 min past) only because I had to stay logged on to the app with my camera open so that was the only negative comment about it. The doctor was very nice overall and treated me the same as a healthy person.
Booked a telemedicine appointment to schedule a COVID-19 test. I filled out their required insurance, identity, and credit card forms. I waited in the provided video call for 30 minutes and nobody ever showed up!Their phone numbers also do not go to anyone.Update: After 40 minutes, I finally received a phone call setting up the quick-and-easy telemedicine visit. Took just a minute or so to schedule the drive-through COVID-19 test with a friendly provider. 40 minutes without any contact whatsoever is a bit much though.
Video visit was ok. As always delayed due to large volume of patients which is understandable at this time. The video volume settings on the app was very low or feeble . I dint have my headphone handy so i had to use as a phone than a video chat with the doc. Disappointed with the app.
I would have given them 0 stars if that was possible.I went there to get a PCR COVID-19 test, they took a rapid test instead. When I told them that my work required me to give them a PCR test, they told me that my insurance might not cover the PCR test since I took a rapid test earlier. They required a mandatory doctor visit along with the COVID test and I had to stay for over an hour there, for a test that usually takes no more that 2 minutes.I would say AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
I live in Italy and came back to California to finally visit my family after more than a year and a half due to Covid. In order to travel back to Italy, its required to have a negative Covid test. Since I dont have US health insurance having permanent residence in Italy, both the telemedicine consultation and the Covid test are out-of-pocket. However, none of the costs were advertised anywhere and it was a shock to discover that the telemedicine visit was nearly $100 and the test is over $200 for the rapid antigen test (which is the only option for travel due to turnaround times). Seeing as its necessary to get the test, I had no other choice but to accept. My Covid test appointment is for Friday and I still havent received the confirmation text with my window (Im writing this on Tuesday). If it werent for the very friendly staff who phoned me at the time of my telemedicine appointment, Id have given a rating of 1 star.
Let me start out with the good things: check in desk was fast, MA’s were friendly and hospitable. If you’re coming here with the hopes of feeling better as you’re sick, don’t come here. My 3 minutes with the doctor was the worst bedside manner I have EVER experienced in my entire life. I asked one question and she made me feel like I was the dumbest person for asking. I asked about getting a steroid shot. I didn’t push it or anything. I simply asked and boy did she make me regret opening my mouth. I already feel crappy bc I’m sick but I felt WORSE leaving this urgent care. She even swung the door open when she left and left it open as she stormed out like she was the one to be mad at me for asking a question. I never raised my voice, I didn’t undermine her position, and I was very respectful even though she clearly was not.The employee that saw me at discharge listened to my complaint about the doctor and assured the situation would be handled. My experience outside of the exam room was 5-Star. Unfortunately, that did not make up for my time during the exam.
The stars I’m giving are only for the easy breezy televisit and the amazing staff who provided my COVID test. The problem starts when you have to wait for 5 days for COVID results. Yes- the stated timing is 3-5 days, however if the last two of those days falls on a weekend you won’t get results until late Monday. For a test that is likely the most important right now it is simply a failure to have results sitting until two days after. Hire more staff! Full stop. This is the absolute worst and I have gotten burned by you twice awaiting results, no human being to talk to, canned replies to text messages and an endless pit of holding on for a callback that will come whenever it comes. Disgusting service. Catch up to the rest of the world who expedites COVID test results.Bw
I scheduled for covid-19 test and it was as wrapped up as quickly as possible hassle-free. Though there are many bugs I encountered while booking a slot on the website. It would be great if they could be fixed as well.
Had the BEST experience at this urgent care, the staff, PA were all super nice and helpful!!! Definitely will make this my go to from now on!
Booking a time slot on the Same day was easy. Waited half an hour for medical reviewer was frustrating because there is no IM function with Next Patient. The hot line is useless since its info only without an option to talk to a real person. I texted the message line and finally got some acknowledgement . The interviewer called me directly since she could not log into NextPatient herself. Then I was told rapid test is not PCR test the airline requires. Somehow that distinction should be called out at the website.
Didnt know this was a private urgent care so there is no hospital network that it is tied to so that is something Im not used to that when trying to have results from an xray sent to them when I could see it on my patient portal before the xray place was closed for the weekend. But I know this isnt their fault. Im new to area (from the east coast) and just wanted to avoid a $150 copay at an ER but wanted a fast turnaround time for a possible broken ankle. The urgent care definitely made up for it and helped walk me through getting on their patient portal again since I misplaced the code and making sure I had my MRI paperwork before getting off the phone with me. He was very friendly and helpful.
Got myself and members of my family tested here for COVID. Very fast and efficient from check-in to testing. Results came back the same day (must look in the Patient Portal).
Very good experience. The testing went very quickly just parked, told them I was there, then sit in the car. They call you to discuss the test and then bring a swab to your car. Very convenient, quick and easy.
Quick service, kind providers. A little uncomfortable with how the interior of the building is taken care of. I get there’s only so much you can do about cracked counters and even old linoleum. But there was a juice straw wrapper on the exam room floor along with other small trash that could have been swept up. If those things aren’t being cleaned up are they sanitizing things? Overall, a good experience but I hope they up their cleaning standards.
I went to Instant Urgent Care on Monterey Hwy in Dan Jose and although they were short staffed, they apologized and did a great job getting my foot checked out. Very friendly, concerned, and great looking/talented staff and PA who waited on me!
The video conference was initiated more promptly that I was expecting to occur, there were fewer questions asked of me than I anticipated taking place, and the individual I had my conference with arranged a very convenient time and location for me to have my appointment at. Whats not to like?
I had a severe leg injury so I had to rush to Instant urgent care, and instead of being seen by the doctor a physician assistant had a look at my injury. I was assuming he is a doctor which was not right you need to inform the patient atleast that there were no doctors available onsite since it was around 6 in the evening. In addition radiology is not open at this location so I had to go to a different location for an X-ray. Not only this I asked for medicines to reduce the pain which they should prescribe me since I was in utter pain instead of me asking for medicines. Not only this I asked for my X-ray reports for which they werent providing initially and asked me to make a follow up appointment which will be again charged. And by the time I got my X-ray reports it was already third day and my injury wasnt treated properly. I personally wont recommend anyone to visit the instant urgent care, not at all happy with the services and very expensive.
Easy to make an appointment and virtual visit done timely. I scheduled COVID test for my kids. Instruction was texted to me immediately after virtual visit. But the test time were not working for my children as they are in school. Even the website says the clinic open until 7pm but it is actually close at 4pm. We need the result tomorrow so we have to look for alternative. Be aware of the misleading time for Covid-19 test clinic.
I visited their office for a throat infection. The doctor(who was not friendly) did routine checkup and a strep test which came out to be negative. I recovered after a few days with the prescribed antibiotics. But later I found that my card was billed twice. As per them one was for the office visit and another was for the strep test which was very minor procedure during the same office visit. I dont understand why this has to be charged separately. Do not recommend!
Health providers in the SR Clinic very comforting and friendly. But, Impossible to communicate directly with SR clinic by phone. Took 12 hours to get correct Rx. All the while my son getting sicker and sicker. I was disconnected 6 times in day of appt and f/u appt. Not so good trying to get correct rx and dealing with customer service in Berkeley and San Jose. Dint bother with F/u appt. we waited online fir 2 hours. I called from another phone they told me I wasn’t online. Which I was, waiting fir dr. to come. Took another 1hr for dr on lunch to come back to perform f/u.
Instant Urgent Care in Dublin is fantastic. They make it so easy to get an appt to be tested for Covid and they offer rapid test results as well! Scheduling an appt. was easy and the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this facility!
Elisa was extremely helpful. We were under time constraints which she was unaware of, but she made sure our needs were met. Very knowledgeable, very professional.
The healthcare professional I spoke with was very helpful and understanding about my concerns. She listened to my questions patiently and answered them clearly.Would have been 5 stars if it werent for that receptionist who scheduled the appointment and accused me of missing it. She sent me a text message of 1050am telemedicine appointment, when she meant 950am. She called me at around 0957 and said were you able to do your telemedicine? to which I responded you texted me 1050am. She vehemently denied it and when I told her I can send her a screenshot of the message, she HESITANTLY apologized. Look, everyone makes mistakes. Just apologize and own up. But to blame your customer for your mistake is just bad customer service!Updated review:Waited an hour for a follow up telemedicine, provider never showed up. Had to text them and didnt get a phone call after a few hours. Will updated this review again in the next several days.
They advertise covid rapid test and they do not!!!! I had an appointment at 9:10AM and hurried to get there and was disappointed. You have to do a video chat but that wasnt working (no Lie). Then they told to go to Stevenscreek urgent care at 11AM. That was not so it was 12PM. They are not helping people at all!!!!
Saw good reviews so I went. Pulled up to find graffiti on its building and was located between a 7-11 and liquor store—not to reassuring but shouldn’t judge a book by the cover.Walked my wife in who was in severe pain, they yelled at us to stay outside as they screen us for Covid. “That’s ok, they’re just doing their job,” I tell myself “no Covid symptoms just severe stomach pain, might be an ulcer!” Was our response. They said it would take a really long time to be seen there and we should go to an emergency room. There was not a single person in the waiting room! Seemed like they just wanted to turn people away. We happily drove to Kaiser instead and got actual help.
I had a bad pain and went to Instant Urgent care at 5138 Monterey Highway, Suite G, San Jose on 12/6/2022. Dr. Ramandeep Kaur made an inspection and decided its Pilonidal Abscess. She issued an antibiotic prescription to my pharmacy, gave me care instruction and detailed information of the disease. Shes very good doctor and a appreciate the timely service that IUC provided.
Came to have a rapid covid test. Told results in one hour. Five hours later now, and the weekend conference is now at risk. I am on the staff. My husband has attempted to get information with no result. We have no lab results. Rrrrr.
Website has VERY confusing information regarding Covid-19 testng. Times and locations are ALL wrong. And theyre very unresponsive to phone calls. Took 3-4 appointments to get anywhere, and im not even finished until tomorrow (fingers crossed). Plan on 2 days and a LOT of wasted time if you go to them for testing. Instant theyre not.
We were told to go to the Berkeley location and waited for 40 minutes until we learned from the people in the car ahead of us who had waited for over an hour that the site was closed and was told to go to San Ramon. After texting several times I was called by someone who apologized and said the telemedicine provider was new and didn’t know the site was closed. We went to San Ramon and the provider who did the swab was super nice and everything went very well but the time waiting in Berkeley was very stressful.
We went to Urgent Care for a same day Covid Test. We never received the results. Instead, we received multiple text and email requests for a review. It seems like getting a review was more important to them than getting us a result.
Great experience here! came in and out extremely quick. The staffs and doctor were amazing!
I’m giving this place 5 stars because the two people working here on Sunday, May 8th around 9-10am were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help me and make sure I received the care I needed. I wish I would have gotten their names. We need more people like this working at these type of places.
This clinic’s staff is incredible. Hands down the best service and care I have ever received at an urgent care... or any clinic for that matter. Thank you for making my visit so quick, informative, and enjoyable! I wish there were more clinics like yours out there!
It was really easy and anyone can use the service very quiet. I was able to find out slot for same day. The text msg feature is one of the best as I was getting detailed instructions via text msg so I dont miss any step/instructions.
Doctors and nurses were super friendly. The receptionist dealt with registration appropriately. Maybe, improves more transparency on costs. Either that, or, I don’t know how my insurance and American healthcare system works
It was a very easy and pleasant experience. They helped me immediately and the doctor was fast, thorough and friendly. Nurse was great too. Front office employee was polite and helpful.
I had my telehealth appointment at 10:40am today (8/19). At 3:33pm I get a text that my covid testing window was from 11-12pm earlier in the day and in Dublin instead of San Ramon. I race down to Dublin anyway just for them to be closed at 4pm.
Doctor kaur and her staff are real friendly and professional. Ive been a patient of Dr. Kaur for 5 years now. and Im really satisfied with her care..
It was the most efficient urgent care facility that I have ever visited! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Above and beyond experience at this facility. Highly recommended!
Get on the website and check constantly for appointments available. Provide information as requested while scheduling for an appointment at date and time. In and out quick. Definitely recommend anyone to go take the test. Results can have within hours on the same day after tested.
Very easy to use and convenient. There was a slight delay from my scheduled time but they let me know so that was extremely helpful. Doctor was compassionate and very helpful.
The staff and doctor at the location were pleasant to deal with. However my experience after that was very poor. They showed complete lack of communication and responsibility; even after mentioning to them the time sensitive nature of my needs.
The Gal doing the covid swab test was really rough and short with everyone. I took notice. Also the rapid test result are not rapid they claim within the hour. It’s been 6 for my results and no update.
They made time for me--perfectly conveniently, and Dr. Stan Ma made the correct diagnosis and treatment. The staff is super friendly, and you can tell that they genuinely care about people. I want to go back just to say, hi!
Great experience on this place. Everything was so fast and clean. Super kind people ! I saw Doctor Stanley Ma, very nice and professional. I spent there only 30 minutes. No waiting time at all. Place is immaculate. And everyone is so nice!
Always takes care of their regular patients carefully. Gives you appointment in very short time. I am going there for last 4 years and will continue to do so. They are pretty knowledgeable and understanding.
I booked the Covid-19 NAAT test for travel this morning and got the result within 2~3 hours. The staff are very friendly and motivated.
Staff always very pleasant, thorough and Doctor truly cares. Its refreshing to have a medical facilty not only try to make an appointment promptly but to also be pro-active. Thank you.
The doctor had very good Bed side manners! She was very patient and made me feel welcomed. Normally when I go to the doctors office I feel awkward and this time I didn’t.
Medical service was great, but their billing department is TERRIBLE. They over charged me in April by over $300 and I was told they would refund it. Its now almost September and no refund. Ive been calling them for months and no one ever answers the phone. There is no way to resolve the issue online. I have left multiple messages and no one has returned my calls. I would like my money back!
The staff were helpful, kind, courteous & responsive to health issues. Overall, the best service for Urgent Care.
Great service, booking appointment was easy. Great thing is once I got there, they are very professional and the staff explained everything thoroughly. Thank you for your service!
Their instructions aren’t clear, the website states Rapid PCR Covid testing available however I’ve heard three different conflicting comments from the staff. 1) Virtual Appointment technician said there isn’t a rapid PCR test, only antigen. 2) Technician performing test stated they haven’t received the test kits for rapid PCR test and 3) Follow up technician called and said they only offer PCR rapid testing at the Sunnyvale location.
They called me for a virtual consultation and said they would text me with my appointment information to get a rapid Covid test done for the next day. I never received a text with my appointment information. I also reached out to their phone number they provided if I have questions and they never answered me back. Terrible service.
Dr. Kaur is an excellent physician. Excellent check up. Garth Folley.
Very confusing communication. Numerous emails just for one appointment, yet I cannot find where I am supposed to go for test. They requested video call just so that I can setup a COVID test appt. and, then, nobody showed up. Unbelievably confusing.
Great service. I highly recommend 👌
I have come here frequently over the past 6 months. Appointments are easy to make online or by phone, usually available for same day visit. Dr. Kaur and the staff are friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Yay!
They were covid conscious using covid protocol. Staff was efficient and friendly. We had a short wait in our vehicle and the test took no time at all.
I was very pleased to find a staff that was helpful and friendly. There were patients everywhere, but they seemed to make me feel like I was the only one. Thank you for your quick and polite service
Staff members are very friendly. Appointments easy to schedule and no wait time issues. Thank u instant urgent care!
Waited 20 minutes and no one showed up or let me know they were running late. Made another appointment and NP was 20 minutes late. Tried texting and calling-no one responded or let me know that the provider was running behind
This place earned a 1 star because of the nurse who was helping me with a positive attitude the entire time.I came in to get my physical exam done for work on Saturday. One of the receptionists here was talking in such a rude manner. One of them said the cost is $139, and then told me to sit down to fill out some paper work. Then the rude one was like “hey you know you have to pay $139?” I mean, I don’t wanna be nitpicking and stuff... but I didn’t sit down and not pull out my card because I didn’t want to pay... lololAnyways, so after the nurse guy helped me, the doctor walked in. First of all, she was picking on my answers that I filled out on the paper. She kept yelling at me for saying I don’t know about my family history part. So basically I said I don’t know who has TB in my family but my TB test result was positive and my X-ray was fine. She went up hella close to my face and said “if you don’t know who has it in your family then you put no.” I even showed her an electronic copy of my X-ray result, but she was like “I’m asking you a question, not for that.” Boy, this lady has so much attitude. For a doctor, she is so petty... seriously! Usually, other doctors would just move on. Jesus christ. The entire exam was basically arguments and arguments. If you happen to go to this clinic, ask who’s in for today before you proceed an examination! Cause apparently, there are better doctors here.P/S i think her name is Dr. Aiia (or Alla) Rovoza whatever. She has like a thick accent. Avoid her.
Good doctors, but itd be nice if theyd give a call if they have a bill for you to pay, before sending debt collectors and putting that on your record.
Signed up covid test at 9am. Arrived at 9am, the center was closed even though we were able to schedule a test. It wasn’t apparent if it would be open later, single google hours says it’s closed. Very unprofessional and a waste of time and gas.
Everyone from the front desk staff to the PA Alla Rozova were friendly and efficient. Everything was straight forward and paperless. My Rx was ready by the time I got to the pharmacy.
The sign up process is a wreck! Every aspect was a battle, not a single task worked correctly. Until I got to the actual facility, which went smoothly, efficiently, and took very little time.
Never answered my telemedicine call. Sat and waited 30 mins on the phone for nothing. Also they never answer at the front desk. I’ve called and left voicemails. One of my calls was answered and they immediately hung up. Kept sending my referrals and docs to the wrong locations.
Great patient service. Dr. Kaur is an excellent doctor. Saw me on time as usual. - Garth Folley 7-25-23
Waiting of 2hrs is uncalled for, especially appt for a 10sec swab. Thats ridiculous! Yall need to improve in your process. Perhaps swab people as they come. Dont know why we have to wait 2hrs just to get a 10sec nose swab. Duh!!!
Apathetic staff.Advice from the PA: ‘ ice and heat do NOT help reduce swelling’.Took two weeks for them to submit information to get an X-ray.Didn’t follow through with commitments to contact radiology center or my insurance company.do not recommend going here.
We had a little issue at first but, it ended up being a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and I really appreciated the doctor. She went above and beyond.
I am visiting and had no idea where to go. GoogledAnd went with this one as it was closest. Nice front office, clean and was treated very nicely. Did not have to wait long and the Dr was incredibly nice and not judgmental. Staff was wonderful.
The Dr that helped me was wonderful.( I cannot remember her name)She was very thorough explaining everything to me. I am extremely satisfied with my appointment today. Thank youSue mclean
Was kinda weird, having to wait in my car, to receive a phone call from the clinic, then later, have them call me again to tell me to come in. I guess that is the Covid norm ... but otherwise, the test was quick, and just had to wait for my results later in the day.
I was suppose to get my results back for the Covid test within 1-3 hours. No call, no text, no email to tell me my results. It’s been 20.5 hrs later still nothing.
Very professional, and they were worried for me and Dr. Felix even did a flu testing on me to make sure I didn’t have the flu, but had the cold and prescribed me with some asthma medicine to help with my cold congestion. Will come back another time if needed for any sickness that I have.
Dr Felix is awesome they took me right away and took very good care of me hes very professional and they had me in and out quickly as a veteran I can recognize another veteran and sure enough when I asked Dr Felix if he was a veteran wouldnt you know it, hes an army vet ,whos still out there risking his well-being for the sake of others highly recommend instant urgent Care for your medical needs
I didn’t even have an appointment and they pulled me right in tested me and got me out within 15 - 20 minutes great service.
A little confusing initially figuring out the scheduling, but once I text the number and someone got a hold of me it was much easier. Also a little delay with the virtual visit connecting, but Id do it again if necessary
I went in for a rapid results covid test and was told I would receive results by the end of the same day. Three days later I have not received the results. I have messaged via the portal and texted. I have called but no one will answer.
Good service. Better than these other Covid-testing centers. I can’t even get tested at a minute clinic. Why can’t everybody just stay on the house? It’s the best way to prevent you from contacting Covid.
The TeleMed process was professionally performed by a medical doctor who asked appropriate questions regarding causes, symptoms and purposes of the Covid-19 Test request before assigning the appropriate scheduled appointment and location. If English is not your primary language then you must either request an interpreter or have your own translator.
Dr Ramandeep Kaur, MD seems to have the knowledge, experience and wisdom to treat old age clients. Gets right to it... never pushy. I have seen Dr Ramandeep three times now and am confident that I chose the right PCP.
I didnt mind waiting 2.5 hours for care, but to wait that long and have the doctor say take an ibuprofen and come back next week is absurd. Not wanting to conduct further tests when I cant hear out of one ear because it is a time-consuming process and were closing soon is absurd.
