The dap dental for adults in cathedral city has such an amazing staff! They are very welcoming and polite thank you Anita Garcia and Ely Felix for being so cordial and professional. The dentist Monica Lenhof is just the sweetest dentist I’ve ever meet in my life she is just so caring and genuine almost like very motherly let alone she actually tries to get to know her patients and calms the anxiety and nerves you have going in there! I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who lives in the area. I’ve had very bad experiences with other dental offices and their staff members where they just seem so miserable and are very rude. This dental office staff go above and beyond to meet you needs! Not only that they are on top of appointment reminders as well. Trust me if you have had any bad experiences in the past with dental offices. This dental office will change your way of trust towards dental offices!
Today I was supposed to have an appointment with Blaire Heath for my follow up and they called me early as they said at 10:30am and she didn’t call back and even though I tried calling them back and they couldn’t take my call while they put me on hold and I send them a voicemail and they didn’t call back. There terms have a changed and sometimes it’s hard to remember what I need to do or how to setup for another appointment so DEP in Palm Springs was a ripoff. I’ll have to find another psychiatrist who can keep control and responsible for my medication and follow up sessions.
Not at all impressed by DAPs referral department. They (not once, but twice) messed up submitting my referral to my insurance company who approved one (instead) of two MRIs for each of my knees. They did the same thing previously when trying to get approval for physical therapy. Both resulting in a lot of unneccessarily WASTED time. They should be better than this.
Big shoutout to the wonderful staff at the Cathedral City dental office! Dr. Lehnhof and Ana took such good care of me. I really appreciate their patience and kindness. They made sure I was comfortable and at ease, especially since Im really nervous about visiting the dentist. Thanks again to the fantastic team at Cathedral City DAP HEALTH: Dr. Lehnhof, Ana, Jeanett, and Laura!
Orange building (Lab) has a really terrible, terrible, terrible wait time. Why am I seeing so many people come in but not even 1 has left the lab if they just need to get their blood taken or anything. They need to hire more doctors, and nurses over here because it’s so ridiculous to wait this long. It’s like over 15 people in Lab and have not seen 4th or 5th person leaving the lab and I’ve been waiting for almost an hour. This waiting time system and the work performance is so inappropriate.
I wanted to review the Desert AIDS Project, Labcorp facility, Walgreens Pharmacy and especially my primary care person is Noe Lopez. I rate them all with a 5 star rating. I have been getting care at least 6 to 8 times a year for over 9 years at the DAP. I have had a few different primary care providers during those years either an MD or a physicians assistant (Noe Lopez) at the DAP. I rate them all with 5 stars. The DAP has protected me from infectious disease and taken care of all of my surgery referral needs for over 9 years. The LABCORP facility and also the Walgreens pharmacy inside the DAP are all amazing and i hold them in high regard. The DAP and Noe Lopez has keep me healthy and happy all this time. They have referred and helped me to receive (3 knee, 2 shoulder and one hand surgery and an upcoming elbow surgery LOL). I am also a USMC veteran and still gainfully employed. I am always happy and confident with the care I have gotten from the entire Desert Aids Project doctors, administrative staff, Labcorp & Pharmacy. Thank you all so very much and best of health to you as well. Yours truly Sterling Alexander DC.
TOO everyone at Cathedral City @ Dap DentalDr. Monica Lehnof, Ana Garcia, Jeanette Barajes, Laura Rodriguez ♥️Dap health dental in Cathedral City is honesty the best care and dental experience I have had. Professional yes. They all go above and beyond with kindness, exceptional in every aspect of patient care. They had a special way about keeping me calm during my procedure. I broke a tooth right before a vacation and every staff member helped to get me in before I was going to see my Daughter. I recommend Dap highly to anyone looking for Dental care.Valerie VerdiThank you for giving me back my smile. ❤️
🇺🇸 ATTENTION VETERANS 🇺🇸How can a non-profit organization, that receives HUGE 💵 Federal 💰 Funding, toss VETERANS to the curb??In a no notice move, DAP decided it no longer wanted to provide critical healthcare to Veterans, Im one of those Veterans, and, if you have questions concerning this issue, contact me, Im more than happy to give you all the details. Especially since the majority of DAP employees dont know how to return phone calls.BTW- KESQ News Channel 3 is blatantly ignoring this situation as well, could it be that one hand is washing the other?
Today is 14yrs since my brother, Dean Lapin, passed away. This was his 2nd home, family, friends, medical/living assistance, place of purpose volunteering. I cant thank you all enough for all you provided for my brother...I think of you all a few times a year, sending love and gratitude from afar! I can only remember a Pat? I hope to visit soon! THANK YOU FROM MY WHOLE HEART N SOUL! Deanos little Sis, Laura XO
They took over my doctors office. I had an appointment which they told me I will NOT BE SEEN. I was supposed to get my medicine refilled but my heart just isnt important enough. They have me on hold for over THIRTY MINUTES. Its still the same old office but which MUCH WORSE SERVICES. RIDICULOUS.
Its been since 4/4/24 that I was assigned to DAP and till this Day 4/23/24 I havent been able to get a doctores apoinment. I have called been there in person to get an apoinment but the the apoinment guy that answers the phone and is at the window thinks he owns this Doctor office. He has told me that my insurance dont know the way they work in his office with Attitude and very unhappy I have told him I runout of my diabetic medications he told me to go back to Azusa with my old provider or go to urgent care but not untill I have my physical card he is not going to give me an appointment. I have a digital phone card same information That Now I have on the card they sent me. Hopefully the bully of the apoinment desk will grant me a doctors vist. Welcome to the desert!!!
The former Deserts AIDS Project was a lifesaver for thousands of patients. But the corporation is turning their focus from HIV/AIDS to residential and urgent care ventures, which bring in more federal and state funding. Traditionally gay services are being replaced with other, more profit oriented ventures. Client are now more easily references by numbers and DOB, and no longer names. Clinicians seem to be urged to avoid conversations regarding existing medical conditions, and now office visits revolve around clicking boxes on a computer screen. Appointments are now typically several months out. Attempting contact nurse practitioners is exceptionally regulated and limited. Supposedly confidential correspondence through the MyChart third party service is routinely intercepted by unknown employees and seldom conveyed to the aaddressee. There has become an almost palpable resentment from support staff. Rules directed against patient conduct are posted in every waiting room, as if to threaten patient questioning to clinicians. I face legal repercussions if I dare say more. I made a decision that my personal health and welfare was too important to remain with what used to be the Desert AIDS Project.
I was heavily abused by the behavioral health department. My private information was shared with people outside my care and they violated my patient bill of rights, by ganging up on me when I was in extreme distress.Avoid their mental health department, it’s literally the opposite of mental health care it’s actually disrespectful and disruptive to healing, it’s pure ableist bigotry and abuse and they will use your disabilities to gaslight you make you feel crazy. There’s one nurse Lizzy Gallegos who got the entire department to sabotage my care, and I never expected a mental health department to traumatize me in such a violent way.The Purple behavioral health clinic destroyed my spirit and trust in mental health practitioners I will now have to seek real psychiatric care elsewhere.Do not use this department I’m aghast, if you do not want your disability to be thrown in your face please avoid the purple clinic. These people crushed me emotionally and the whole lot of them need to be audited and fired for exposing my personal information to people outside my care it’s highly illegal according to state and national law.I thought this was an actual compassionate care center it was founded around care for people with terminal illnesses like me, and all I received was ableism, gaslighting and abuse. If the original trauma from nurse Gallegos never happened I wouldn’t be having severe panic attacks and ptsd they caused me irreparable harm this is a dangerous clinic for people with actual mental health issues, and it’s pure bigotry against disabled people like me we suffer from our disability and they gang up surround one another to protect themselves from accountability, you know why because Nurse Gallegos was seeking revenge because I caught her in multiple lies, and because I was holding her accountable for extreme misuse of my medical history used to abuse me! She really did make me consider taking my own life. I’m not suicidal but that level of abuse is damaging to clients and patients the whole department needs to be audited and “Lizzy” needs to not work with human beings ever again.
Ive been going to Dap forover 12 years for my primary and hiv care and wouldnt want to go anywhere else. My care team is excellent. I realize their workload is xtra large and when I need immediate care, I go to an Immediate Care. (Heres a tip..go right when they open or just before closing for shortest wait times) Anthony Velasco NP is great and always answers any questions or concers I have very quickly via mychart portal. The entire staff all have kind and caring hearts or they wouldnt be there. Alls they ask is that you follow a few basic and simple rules and you too will have a blessed experience. Shame on all the haters placing blame on this wonderful place that has taken care of so many for so long.
I usually dont do reviews however I recently had the privilege of seeing Dr. Jason Halprin an exemplary Doctor. Dr. Halprin moved mountains for me and provided a caring , compassionate approach . He listened to me and provided knowledgeable solutions. Dr. Halprin will be a much needed asset to the DAP sytem of health Care in Escondido CA I wish him the best in his future endeavors
For those members of the LGBTQ community that are interested in DAP healthcare solely for primary care, your experience will be lackluster. Just like many previous reviews have stated, the employees at DAP are miserable people who behave very resentful towards the patience of clinic. It takes a little over a month to see primary care provider and if you try and do a walk-in appointment at the yellow clinic, its a 50/50 chance that you will be seen. Since providers tend to call off and they do not have a backup plan. I did have to file a grievance with my health insurance in regards to DAP and the referral department. My insurance company actually contacted DAP and DAP was caught lying to the insurance company about the timeline for referrals to be processed. DAP has expanded to quickly, taken on to many patients, and hired employees who lack professionalism and the ability to do the job that they were hired to do. This is what has brought down the quality of service that DAP offers. What I have stated here are things that I personally experienced and they seem to correlate with the other experiences of people who have posted reviews about DAP. I am no longer a patient there; just like many people before me.
I had a great visit. JP was the nurse that I saw in the Orange Clinic. He was very friendly, non-judgemental, and informative. I have only been to this clinic twice, but if most of the clinicians are like he is, it must be a good place.
No one seems happy working here. Ive had now 4 primary care providers in the short time Ive beengoing to DAP. In my experience, most providers and nurses complain about senior staff, hours, people problems. Most quit after short stints from what I see. You have to ask why the turnover is so high? It sounds like a toxic environment to work in. All those great facilities, staff and $$ flowing into there youd think they could concentrate more on making a healthy environment to work and receive services.
Things started out while until my doctor resigned. I was assigned a new doctor and now I have a 4 month wait to see him. The last time I was sick and needed to be seen someone from DAP told me to go to the Eisenhower Urgent care down the street because they didnt have the time to see me. You are not allowed to be seen by a different provider at the clinic. When I asked to move to a different provider who had availability I was told I had to come to the clinic in person and make the request. I was told a bureaucrat, administrator Brett, would then need to review and approve the request. They said it takes Brett 4-6 weeks to review the request decide to approve or deny it. This is unacceptable. Clearly the doctor is overwhelmed with patients and DAP as an organization clearly isnt interested in addressing the problem based on what I have been told from their representatives.I would not recommend DAP for primary care.
The Orange clinic at DAP sucks. Went in to get tested and they would not help me. Wanted to send me to Indio, or come back on Friday when I was right in front of them, and they we’re doing NOTHING . I don’t get it. My doctor, however is helping me out. Never going to the orange clinic again for anything ever. If you need help avoid the Orange clinic if at all possible. Not getting checked until Monday now thanks to those A-holes. Hope they experience the same lack of care they exhibit.
I was living in LA and recieved my treatment and had my primary care at the LALGBTQ Jeffery Goodman clinic. Everything was taken care of. They would call me to remind me of things that needed to be taken care of. I had to move to PS and switch primary care. DAP told me it would take several months for me to get in. I ended up with a primary care physician elsewhere, but they wont help me with a condition I have and gave me a referral to DAP for treatment. DAP lost my referral twice. Then made me fill out a registration packet with a financial screening (Im already insured, so why?). They lost that packet 3 times. The first 2 times Joanne told me I could scan and email the forms, which I later found out they dont accept scanned/emailed copies. Its officially been over a year of me trying and now I am out of critical life saving medication, and they wont even give me an emergency supply because they cant find me in the system. I miss the LALGBTQ. They got they stuff taken care of. DAP is a joke and dont care about peoples health like they should.
This was the only clinic available within an hour of my house, and my son has prescriptions. He needs to get right away. I was told an application would be emailed to me. I called four times this first day and the guy kept saying he would email it right away he never did. It’s like he does not care at all. Horrible
I was a patient there for 7 years. I was assigned a new Doctor I did not like, and when I complained I was told I could no longer be seen by clinic. DAP is a perfect example of a facility that started out with a good mission but got to big and no longer cares about the patient. They seem more worried about interior design of the place and constantly remodeling. It would be nice if they treated the patient as well as they do the building.
How in Gods name are you closed for an hour during prime time working hours. Heres a thought, 1/3 of staff goes at one hour, etc. And you stay open for all us disabled senior citizens who find it completely inconvenient that your closed everyday! Plus We cant remember that because everything else is open. Planning a trip around you when your closed is a problem.
Case manager with no medical experience or qualifications dismissed my illness as “superficial” and forbid me to go to the ER. As my illness progresssed, I went to Desert Regional and sat in the waiting room for hours but not checking in. I finally passed out and fell on the floor. Paramedics brought me into the back room and they took blood. About 30 minutes later they came back gone and told me that I had a rare bacteria in my system and if left untreated I could die. When I told the doctor about my experience at the DAP he was furious and told me not to take medical advice from anyone who is not a healthcare professionals. When I went back to the DAP I told them about my experience and the case manager was angry with me because I did not listen to him. Ever since then I have had a number of bad experiences at the DAP.
When I came to Palm Springs about a year ago, I was told to go to DAP for great excellent care. At first I called and left a message to which nobody responded to. So I left a couple of emails and left vm to which nobody responded. So I was able to speak to some one on the board and finally got set up. At first this was great.THEN Covid hit and the great customer care went out the window.I called yesterday to provide my new number, and book my vaccines. Their receptionist needs to attend a class on how to provide excellent customer service. Several times she has been very rude. Cuts you off as you are trying to explain what it is you need and then begrudgingly puts you through or provides assistance. When I did talk to the person who took care of my appointment and vaccines she was very pleasant and took the time with my concerns. She then told me that for blood work I can go to the lab as there was an order for me.I went to have my blood draw and the guy at the front said as of this morning they are only taking appointments. I tried to explain that their was an order for me and said I needed an appointment. Another person who needs a class in customer service. So I called the doctors office which was right there and got the same ugly person from before. Again tried to explain and was told they have no association with the lab and had plenty of attitude. She said if that is their policy....and wouldnt put me through to the nurse practioner I normally see so I could see if there was something he could do. Si I thanked her for being so nasty and rude. If this is the way they treat people I am amazed that they are still open.
Very very great theyre helping my mom get rid of her hep c!!!
D_P deserves more credit for curing AIDS. Their creative team should win a prize for the D_P Health Equity Walk. And from what I can see, they have eradicated the meth crisis in Palm Springs. You look good with those designer blinders.
There are no handicap spaces close by for those who find it difficult to walk. The State should know about this issue.
One of the best places I have ever been to, not only for treatment but for a big step in my art career. I have been here as a client for about a year now, and the medical and behavioral services are amazing. Everyone here has been very helpful. I started volunteering to help out during my free time, and its been a great experience for me. I love it here, I love the people who work here and volunteer here.
Very rude staff. The moment the woman picked up my call, she made it clear that she didn’t want to be there. She literally sighed when I told her I needed to make a new patient’s appointment, and her tone of voice was cold throughout the conversation. Go to Eisenhower if your insurance allows. This place is a joke.
My doctor recommended I participate in the Anchor study at DAP. I jumped through hoops to get my health insurance HMO to agree. It took months of back and forth between Dr./Kaiser/Anchor study and a lot of time and frustration. My insurance finally agreed, I completed all the registration paperwork for the study and submitted. It went into a black hole and I never heard back anything...even after multiple phone messages, emails to those running the study, Months have passed. Total lack of response/customer service/competence. They have no credibility.
Overall a solid satisfactory healthcare clinic. Friendly staff, small yet great lab staff and a well kept beautiful facility.Case management and employment services could use some improvement in areas of social outreach to clients in the community and those struggling with mental health and or substance use issues. Some clients report feeling judged by staff and providers for some of their presenting issues and struggles. Not sure this agency can always respond to some challenging cases with clients experiencing mental health issues and other medical issues if clients are a bit resistant or negative. Not sure all staff are well trained in harm reduction methods and de escalation techniques instead preferring more grateful clients.I have had a mostly positive experience with staff and providers but do think room for improvement as a social worker and counselor of 30 years
Doesnt the revolving H R door con-cern anyone? Try getting ahold of anyone in the building---VOICE MAIL KINGS with no response. Should you get a call back most likely it will be a blocked caller.???????? At this time I am ,unfortunately, suggesting STAY AWAY. Read all reviews. To point out all their current flaws is not possible in a single review! Stay away!! They even tried to label me with HTN. My blood pressure is 122/76. I have no idea where they find such in incompetent physicians. Beware they are overtaking Borrego Health the negative effects are already apparent.
DAP client for 3+ years. Nursing staff excellent. Expansion of Nurse Practitioner and Physician Asst. with scrip writing authority.... spot on!!!One disturbing criticism. You are constantly reminded by nurses and then your doctor I have to complete this appt in (it is something between 12-15 min) before they depart. In complicated cases. No time for further question. Recently, after an 8 week illness with a 25lb weight drop in 5 weeks (5’10. Now 125 lbs). Have good sense of my body and was raised by a very smart mother who was a well trained BA RN . My doctor, whom I like and clinically I trust, arrived for AM apt. And was frenetic. He asked me smart questions, i answered. I ended stating perhaps my meds were failing.... its happened to me twice before. Just my thought. Dictor response - a nervous, LOUD, speed of light instruction of all the data he needed before he would consider any med change. He only stopped when I held up my hands and said hush.... I cant hear you you are speaking to fast. Though not his intent, I felt I had been yelled at loudly. He then refused a request for a warm saline hydration I V so I could give blood. My weight loss left me dangerously dehydrated. He refused. His reason... i dont think your insurance will accept the IV charge as medically necessary.!good doctor stressed to the point his level of care is droppingClinical decisions driven by $ at a not-for profit!Pattient(me) to date only able to give 2 out of 8 vials of blood.Appalled it is $ concern first at a not-forWhich leads me to the LABCORP FACILITIES on site. Excellent patient friendly staff A++++. The office/waiting area is one room that looks into a 2 bay side by side injection. Total clinical/lobby/office space combined? Approximately 300 square feet. The most important and heavily used
Health care. Primary care doesn’t respond to messages or follow up on visits. They watch the time when you’re in an appointment. Recommend choosing medical care elsewhere. The arrogance is also systemic throughout.
Few if any of the people that work there understand that they are there to serve their clients. The feelings of contempt and resentment are never camoflaged very well. I think they are terribly top heavy with well paid management and staff yet come up short when it comes to services and addressing the needs of their clients. Tell me how a Board of Directors that does not seem to reflect the diversity of their clients can make the choices that are in the best interests of their patients. Its like the DMV of HIV care.
Thank you guys for all you do for me every year. I would not get medication without the Ryan white foundation.Every person in the Rodney fox office are amazing. The nurse there is always amazing.Denise Leon went above and beyond helping me this last week getting Walgreens to figure out the right billing procedure so I can keep getting my meds. There are a few people in the building in other positions that I would replace, but all the people that Im connected to be with now are all amazing people. Thank you all so much, words cant express my gratitude.Richard
I have been going to DAP for over 12 years. The service has gotten worse and worse. I am constantly fighting to get refills on my prescriptions I am constantly fighting to get people to call me back and follow through. I will be looking for a place to report this to the government they are well funded with our tax dollars yet the service is getting worse and worse. They called me a month ago to tell me to get my blood drawn I went and got it drawn I just called to day to find out why I havent gotten approved for my prescription they said that I need to get my blood drawn I told them the check they checked and they found that I got my blood drawn now theyre telling me its going to take 2 weeks because it was decline so now I have to wait to get reauthorized meanwhile.
Called to get an antibody covid test, but they charge Meficare an office call for a finger pick by a technician. Just out ragious. Also went there trying to get help with a friend dying from HPV cancer and Aids, and there comments were they could not help me with him, because he made to much money and offered not other assistance. Thank God for hospice.Think twice before you donate money to them. I took them out of my will.
Their appointment cancellation policy is unreasonable. If you’re unable to keep more than one appointment they will punish you. I called the reception desk to make an appointment. Receptionist says she is unwilling to schedule an appointment. She says, First I need to call CJ and ask him for permission to make an appointment. So I leave CJ a voicemail CJ doesn’t call me back. Instead, he sends a message through some third-party website with instruction about who else I need to call and ask permission so I can make an appointment. In summation, I spoke with the receptionist about getting an appointment, Then was directed to beg 2 other people for permission to get an appointment.Punishment, yes punishment! When my clients don’t show up to an appointment I consider that a cost of doing business. At this point I’ve gone several days (and counting) without any AIDS Medication. What kind of care is this? It’s a one star pair is what it is.
In the last 6 years Ive been assigned to 5 different Physicians in the health clinic. Last PA C I saw there was apparently prone to temper tantrums at one point leaving me looking for someone else to address a medication issue . my case manager didnt follow policy and outed me to my apartment managernew medical director dr. Morris says changes are going to be made. I hope so dont get me wrong Im still here
I have been a member of the DAP for 23 years now. It is a huge foundation caring for thousands of people. I have happily been a member, a volunteer, a patient. The fact that there is a medical center, a lab, and a pharmacy all here in one location is something I dont think the clients here always understand how great that is. Especially in an area this relatively small. I look forward to the day this is a Walmart! Just like the hospice houses I have volunteered in. Now hospice houses for cancer.
This review is primarily aimed at The Dock which is part of DAP. This organization has the WORST follow up of any medical organization I have dealt with. I have left multiple voice mails followed by emails trying to get a response to testing and questions regarding billing. It took 7 MONTHS to get everything cleared up and have my questions answered. I had to climb the chain to a higher up before anyone would respond. Now my partner is experiencing the exact same thing after we were assured it would not happen. The services they offer are only beneficial if THEY FOLLOW THROUGH. So very disappointed.
Someone I love was recently diagnosed as HIV+. His health insurance was not very helpful AT ALL in helping him find a primary physician, literally was told I dont know and hung up on with every call and question. We sent an email asking DAP for assistance in how to change insurance and become a client of theirs. His response from DAP far exceeded anything he could have wished for! He promptly received a call from DAP who reviewed his insurance situation with him and presented options on ways that he could become a client of theirs. DAP were the FIRST people he had spoken to who treated him kindly and with respect and were extremely helpful and answered all of his questions. He then changed his health insurance and made an initial appointment to be seen. His intake appointment everyone was extremely kind, respectful, and helpful. He felt completely at ease and taken care of. He had answers given before he had even thought of the questions! His first visit with his primary was EXCELLENT! His primary was extremely knowledgeable and caring, thorough, and supportive. He left his first appointment and had his labs drawn in the same building. This person is 30yo and has NEVER had a positive experience with healthcare until DAP! THANK YOU for all you do for the community!
Cant answer phones, messes up schedules, gate keep services, rude
The ONLY reason I am writing this review is that I just got off the Phone with Carol Hunter at D.A.P and spoke with her about not getting the decency of a returned phone call. I left messages for 7 people at D.A.P and only two returned my call. I seeing that after reading other reviews D.A.P still hasnt addressed the inability or simple disregard to return a phone call? It is my hopes that if they hear the message enough they will rise up to better serve their clients.
I visited this place to try to get confidential and or anonymous help (after I was told over the phone I could have that after leaving a message and getting a call back hours later), but upon my arrival I had a terrible experience. When I walked in, they immediately asked for and took my drivers license, then my ss# (really? you need this? Then they wanted my bank accounts info? Which I finally neglected to agree). After all that, they said I could get some meds for $150. I thought this was a place that received public and private funding to help Hiv+ or Hiv exposed people.I called back for follow up questions a few days later and still again left a message saying it was important (doesnt anyone talk to you live without leaving an embarrassing message?). They did finally call back after 3 days. I guess the guy was out of the office so everything stops. All I was looking for was help after an hiv exposure 24 hours earlier. But I didnt get any help from here.
I was a client at DAP for several years. When I first applied I was very ill with Syphilis. It took 2-3 months before I was diagnosed and treated due to information I was given by a staff member that prevented my treatment and made me bed ridden. I was raped violently by 8 men in Cathedral City, CA in 2010. I reported it to my doctor that I was raped and needed counseling. From 2010 to 2013, I was homeless and lost everything after being a Target by the 8 men who were never charged or questioned by the police. I asked repeatedly for help. I was dropped by the DAP after I failed to show for a TB test because my car had been stolen and I was being sexually exploited and used by Keith J. Harmon, who lives at 1839 Via Aguila, Palm Springs, CA. I was in the middle of getting a Bridge after The Dental Clinic pulled my tooth. I was refused treatment due to being dropped as a client. $1,500.00 of Ryan White Money was wasted because of this. The Bridge was made and I was not allowed to continue my Dental Treatment. The Palm Springs police refused 3 times to take a complaint about Keith J Harmon sexually exploiting me and stealing my identity. The DAP was aware of everything that happened to me and let me fall between the cracks and loose everything I owned. I left Palm Springs, CA to seek help in another state.
I just starred and went to my initial consultation, everything about DAP is classy, clean and comfortable! I’m a Hep-C patient and would recommend/ encourage everyone to at least get a blood test!! It’s that easy!! J.B.
My first time ever calling can’t believe how aggressive she was over the phone and all I was asking was a few questions
Called for a covid test and was challenged 3 weeks in a row . 2nd time by a DOCTOR. Can not believe I’m being challenged and told I’m wasting tax payer money for needing a test when i clearly stated I am a healthcare worker in CALIFORNIA. Last week i was told I’m trying to use the test as a prophylactic . Is this a facility for protecting the community or are they the gate keepers of budgeting a pandemic. I’m so raw right now .
Most of the reviews are pretty good. REVIVALS STORE that DAP is a different story. I cant wait to see CHRIS P. Go down! Im looking forward to the 5 people coming forward!😅 Wait the Valley REALLY Finds how Much they REALLY CARE!
Dr. David Morris is a joke I got a registered letter saying to find another provider because I missed two appointments not my fault they change health providers on me. I think he should have gave me a referral before cut me off but anyway thats on him and the rest of his employees. They cant even return a call but they love that money. I think maybe he didnt want to see me anymore because. Do I need to say it...Palm springs.
The DOC needs better management, they are horrible at answering and returning calls, takes days to get a call back. They also failed to schedule a follow-up appointment so when my medication ran out I was without it for over a week because they wanted a blood test. Very poorly run for a medical office.
I am client at the desert AIDS project. A use their dental service And food program. I asked to be vaccinated and they told me no not at this time They had to vaccinate their employees and their employees at the all TheirRevival stores And their clients that go to their doctors office First So I went and got vaccinated out in Desert Hot Springs where they care about me and my health. They also told me I could not say desert AIDS project anymore. You cannot say AIDS. Because they got busted for discriminating against people who are not hiv positive.
Thank you for Desert AIDS project thank you to all the beautiful employees there they work hard and they are also very nice how I appreciate all of you
Just wanted to send a 5Star review to EVERYONE @ Dap Dental, Dr.Yamashiro and his assistant treated me with such respect and compassion, SO APPRECIATED- TY for meeting me always where I’m @, also TY to JoAnn and Patti who ALWAYS greet me with KINDNESSSo appreciate all that you do and special thanks for the Mouth wash and Fancy toothbrush as it’s something I couldn’t afford for myself so SINCERELY THANK YOURobert Coughlin
This place constantly makes you jump through hoops to get care. The people are not friendly and they speak to you as if you’re wasting their time. Sad that a place that’s supposed to be safe & for the community is instead pushing people away.
The facility is well run. Love the accessibility of LabCorp on site. The most efficient lab testing facility with the nicest staff. Incredibly fast and effective.
I was helped by Alexis yesterday and he was wonderful and I really appreciate his kindness beautiful atmosphere very clean and a very loving people Im looking forward to being taken care of by them thank you Father God in Jesus mighty name amen
It use to be a good place to go and now thay want to kick people out because I did not go after 6 months and I will be talking to my insurance company about this thay are the ones who pay for my visit there that should know it’s not right to treat people like that
Awesome service, great providers for all your health care needs. They have dental, chiropractic, mental health, primary care, case management, etc. All under one roof!
A friend goes here. The staff have been on a lunch break since 10:00am to?! ANSWER YOUR PHONES.
The pharmacy and lab services provided here are excellent, second to none. The other services are far more difficult to access.
Staff are clueless to any insurance issues or how to deal with them such as authorized services or referral what a waste of time
I have nothing but respect for dessert aids project staff I want to give a big thx to my case worker Alesia and my psychiatrist Diana Kallis✌❤☺
Jessica in medical reception and the entire staff in the dental clinic have really impressed me with their patience and professionalism great job guys
This place is an organizational disaster. They need new management from the top down and a total revamp of how they operate.
Often difficult to get a hold of, and they’re not very diligent about following up on care the way that an actual doctor is
They dont actually accept walk ins. Was there the minute it opened and they told me I would have to wait until 3:30. Blatant lie, and a waste of my time
I could not ask for better treatment or care. Courteous professional staff are above helpful. My thanks to everyone envolved.
They say $25 sti testing then send you a bill for $500 stating moderate complexity
Very high turn over rate. They are utilizing Doctors as Data Entry Clerks, silliest thing Ive ever witnessed
