DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOU and REFUSE TO COMMUNICATE.TL;DR: They made a mistake, charged me for it, and refused to refund me or credit me, or *communicate* with me.I went to All Access on Rockwell to get stitches on my finger. I was told by my physician (via written documentation) to return to the clinic in 7-10 days for suture removal (see attached picture).I returned on day 8; they charged me $75, I saw a different physician who told me, you are here too early. Your suture removal should be from days 12-14.I talked to the front desk, who called the manager (who wasnt there), and was told, you saw the physician, so thats why we charged you. They are unable (or unwilling) to recognize that **the only reason I arrived that day - and thus was charged because I saw the physician was because the initial doctor told me to**. They made the mistake; I got charged for it.I have repeatedly asked to talk to the manager, but am always told, shes not here or we are really busy. Terrible clinic; do not go here.
I have been coming to this location for years but i will not be back. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and we ended up waiting for over an hour and half for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, I understand staffing issues but if you dont have the staff to cover then dont have the appointments available to book. Ridiculous.,I will say most times the actual care we receive has been great from the medical staff, just the appointment process is a joke. I have never had these issues at the NW Expressway location and no longer be coming to the Rockwell location
I had a great experience as a walk in at this clinic. From the moment I walked in the lady at the counter was very friendly and nice. The check in process was easy. I didn’t wait too long before I was seen and the Dr. really took his time hearing me out and providing a good treatment plan. This will now be my family’s go to urgent care clinic when needed.
I have always gone here in a pinch and recommended this location to my friends and family. After my experience today, I wouldnt dare to recommend this location to anyone ever again. The main problem is the lady at the front desk named Sunshine... When I walked in with a smile, I was not greeted very politely back. It was 8 am and the clinic just opened honestly I understood. My problem started when the prescription was not sent to the pharmacy, within an 8-hour time frame I went to the pharmacy 5-6 times to check if my prescription was ready, and every time I was told there was no prescription on the pharmacys side. At 5 pm, I decided to call the office and see what was going on, the first time I called no one picked up for a while so I just assumed they were busy and called back in a little bit. The second time, the phone was picked up and Sunshine decided to rush me to be placed on hold, I proceeded to wait almost 20 minutes on hold before I hung up and drove up to the clinic. When I walked in she said on the phone A patient is in front of me, I gotta go love you bye, first of all, this is highly unprofessional to be making personal phone calls on an office phone and I cant help but wonder if that is why I was placed on hold for so long and not helped. They figured out that the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy and they told me 10-15 minutes the pharmacy should receive it. Sunshine did give me attitude when she told me this information, but I decided to let it go. I went to the pharmacy and waited 25-30 minutes and they still had not received the prescription. I went back to the clinic and walked in and Sunshine gave me the loudest sigh and rolled her eyes when I asked if the prescription had been sent yet. To sum it all up, the PA-C was fine, but the front desk was more than enough for me to find other places to visit.
Receptionist was efficient, polite, a breath of fresh air from others Ive delt with. She was a mature woman who had it together and knew how to run the front desk and it was busy! Triage & PA were quick efficient nice. I was in and out treated and on my way quickly! I will be back to Access Medical in Rockwell.
Dr. Lilian Tran was wonderful on both my 2 recent visits. She was professional, diagnosed my issue accurately, prescribed effective treatment and was appropriately empathetic. All the staff was professional, efficient and kind. Ive had good experiences every time Ive used this Rockwell clinic.
Software issues might cause a 30 minute or more longer wait time. Inattentive staffing. Capable of the task.
Staff (other than front desk) had no people skills whatsoever. Long wait over an hour and there was 1 patient there when I arrived. Their excuse was there were 4 people there but they most have walked in—the 1 person there when I arrived came in the 1 car in the parking lot!! PA was okay but bristled when I said id been waiting a long time. No small talk—even about weather—to make patients feel more at ease. Would not recommend. Very gloomy place filled with surly people. When I left there was a disgruntled client there complaining about deductibles but then again stuff was distant, non caring and had no empathy.
Cucumber Salad:It started like any other day. Just a sweet husband tryin to make a cucumber salad for his boo.. but with the vegetable slicer…the salad ended up with some unintended ingredients :-0But no worries! The very friendly staff at Access Medical stitched him right up and even left us in stitches with some great comic relief :) thank you everyone- especially Lisa and Harley!
I drove twice today to this clinic. First time the front desk lady said that my Aetna Betterhealth was inactive. So I went home and called my insurance. My insurance told me that yes my Aetna is not active until tomorrow but that I do have coverage under Soonercare. So I drove back and let the front desk lady talk to my insurance to explain to her that she needed to switch my coverage from Aetna to Soonercare and it would cover. She was rude and clearly said no, she can wait until tomorrow. I feel pins and needles in my throat. My insurance told me to go to a different clinic. Maybe shes just rude, lazy or needs more training
We came in because we noticed our four yr old had a really bad rash on his back after school. It had been a really long day for everyone, but the entire staff made our day better! We received excellent care as soon as we walked in. The individual at the front desk even noticed that our 4 yr old was restless and offered us crayons and a coloring sheet. The triage nurse made us laugh several times and helped put us at ease. The doctor was incredibly effective, efficient, and very knowledgable. We are happy to say that our 4 yr old has the right medication, the right diagnosis, and is already on the mend! Thank you all for your help!
I was asked where I wanted to pick up my prescription and then when I checked out they had sent it to another pharmacy location. I was also charged a co pay that shouldnt have been collected. You need to get your staff up to date on current insurance changes. Since that visit Ive tried calling multiple times for billing and they just have you on hold and never answer phone. Or there open but they have the phone recording on that says they are closed. This has been going on for several weeks now.
Had a fall that needed checked out. First contact was the lady at checkin desk. She was exceptional! Met Dr. Weldon. who immediately put me at ease and explained instructions very well. X-ray tech got me in/out expeditiously.
Everyone was so sweet and seemed happy to be here at 8AM on a Saturday morning. ALSO THEY WROTE MY NAME ON THE PAPER ON THE LIL BED IN THE OFFICE! HOW CUTE!
Nurse that called me back into a room was not friendly. Did not speak and had an unpleasant demeanor. Just immediately began asking questions once I got back there and spoke too loudly.Receptionist was very nice. The physician assistant got my issue addressed adequately. Also lots of long wait times waiting to be seen, waiting for the physician assistant, etc.Not the worst experience but definitely could have been better, especially the nurses attitude and the long waits.May look elsewhere for future services..
The environment didn’t feel very welcoming. It might have been due to my skin tone, as they were noticeably more friendly to someone of their own race. Idk I could be wrong. Love and light. X3
A truly positive experience! Smooth process to set up an appt time online. Greeted immediately at reception then took only 2 minutes to complete paperwork. Was brought to clean and cheery exam room immediately for vitals. Swabbing completed for testing and after results received had follow up with experienced professional nurse practitioner who was compassionate and a capable patient educator. I felt confident of quality care. Prescriptions were transmitted smoothly for quick pick up. When you are sick while away from home, this facility is the closest in personal care to your own pcp.
The staff was very polite. My only complaint is that it took the receptionist 30 minutes to verify my insurance. There were others before me but you cannot be seen until that is completed. Once that was completed I was able to quickly see a doctor and received test results within 15mins
Scheduled a follow up due to non-improved/worsening contact dermatitis plus possible brown recluse bite. Went in Sunday so only one doctor (Lilly) and nurse (Katrina) attending, making wait lengthy. They were both attentive, thorough, and just delightful, though.
This was absolutely the worst urgent care visit we ever had. We were made to feel bad for coming in from the moment we first spoke to reception. We arrived 20 minutes before they closed and were told they would have to see if the manager would even allow them to see us. We were just there for a flu test. After taking the test, the PA or FPN who came in belittled us for not treating the fever at home instead of coming in. Once we received the discharge papers, we were told we were good-to-go and as we were leaving the receptionist said “where are you going? You have to pay!” then began laughing at us. She said I had to pay 10% of the visit, even though I have an urgent care co-pay that’s less than she quoted. I said “fine, I’ll pay whatever, we just want to get out of here.” And she charged me more than she quoted. They have successfully ensured that we will never visit an Access/NextCare facility again.
I had caught poison ivy before the weekend and Ive called everywhere online to get in to get a cortisone shot nobody could help me with my soonercare insurance but Access medical did. From the phone call to meeting them in person to front desk the nurse the doctor everybody is very very professional and am really thankful for these guys. You guys are great.
Ive never been to a hospital or anywhere where they treat you like your staff did me you know they were real nice real pretty and they treated me with all the kindness in the world they even took me all the way back to my car you know I didnt even have to walk back to my car so I really appreciate it that and if everybody would treat patients like your staff did then this world will be a better place and people wouldnt be so scared to go to the hospitals thank you so much and I will come back anytime
The nurse the checked me in for my last visit was so friendly and even wrote my name on the guest seat paper. The fact that she spelled it right made my day. All the staff there are great.
Overall, my visit was a positive and reassuring experience. I highly recommend Access Medical Center Urgent Care anyone in need of quality medical care.Thank you, for your exceptional service and dedication!
My son was able to be seen quickly by caring staff on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone was kind and professional. We have been patients at other Access Medical locations around the OKC metro for over a decade and always receive the care we need. Very thankful! Will come back.
Great place. Everyone from the receptionist, the nurses and the on call doctor were very professional and nice. Ill definitely goes back for everyday illnesses that doesnt require a trip to the emergency room.
I’ve never had luck with access medical care facilities. But I took my son in this evening and the location I went to was amazing! We had never been to this location before, and from start to finish, we got the best care! Fast friendly environment! Doctors, nurses, and assistants listened carefully, and did the best possible steps/tests/exams for my son’s symptoms. Very helpful staff! Will definitely use this place again for any future visits needed.
Very good. I got excellent care. It was a bit slow but I understand the hurt children should go ahead of me, since my case was not an emergency. Thank you.
Front desk person and Nurse Practioner were great. The Medical assistant or Nursing assistant who first brought me back, and took my vitals, could use some improvement on how she interacts with patients.
I have used this urgent care for over 5 years now. For both my children and myself. They are always so nice and fast. Definitely recommend.
The nurses and doctor were so nice. We showed up right before closing but they still saw us even though it made them stay longer than 30 minutes after closing time. They were not in a rush at all. My son is non-verbal with autism, so very tough patient and they were all just so nice and caring. Hard to find such caring people like those 3 employees!
These guys have it going on! Quickly booked an appt. Saw the doc who diagnosed my problem. My meds were ready at Walmart before I could get there.
They are an excellent urgent care facility! The staff is friendly and I am always well taken care of!
I scheduled my appointment online and did all the paperwork my appointment was for 9:30AM I wasn’t seen until like 15-20 minutes after and there was 3 walk ins in front of me.I wish they had seen me quicker as I did have an appointment but overall the place was clean and the staff along with the PA was really nice and welcoming they were quick and efficient. The reason for 4 stars is because apparently the paperwork you do online doesn’t always transfer over and also the extra wait time.I would recommend this place though if you need to be seen because they were knowledgeable and friendly overall . They take walkins so I wouldn’t even schedule an appointment next time. Thanks access medical! Got the answers I needed
Only waited about 15 minutes to see doctor. Staff were very friendly and professional. Receptionist was very nice and helpful.
It is always a pleasure to go to this place when my health is affected, the staff is very professional and pleasant, the medical diagnosis is always accurate. Thank you.
I went in this morning and check in was quick for an urgent care. Triage intake was quick and the MA. Overall, all the staff were courteous and kind through the appointment. Lillian Tran, PA was energetic, thorough, and had excellent bedside manner.
The initial impression wasnt all that great, because of unprofessional receptionist who carried on a loud personal conversation on the phone the entire time of our long wait in the waiting room. After that everything was great. The nurse was amazing, the Physicians Assistant listened well and showed compassion. They provided good and timely service.
Great staff very nice and welcoming. From the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor. Great all around. In and out..
Poor testing procedures. Physician was condescending. I have a condition that can be bad real quick when I get sick. Sent me home with no answers. I fell very ill within a week after this visit and ended up in the ER. It was a simple flu b strain but turned into pneumonia. These folks do not know how to perform tests correctly. Very poor bedside manner from the physician, talked down to me like I was a child. I will never go or recommend anyone visit here. Advocate for better care and go elsewhere. These guys almost got me into a very bad health situation with their neglectful ways.
I felt terrible when I came in. Kathy, the Nurse, made me feel better. She was absolutely AMAZING! The PA I saw went right to what needed to be done, crossed every T and dotted every I. They tried all they could to get me well. We came from Tulsa to visit Family and didnt expect to be at an urgent care. Both the PA and Nurse Kathy were so wonderful in treating me. They listened to our concerns and really gave us their best. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for doing everything you could to get me well. You are appreciated beyond words. For your Professionalism and mostly your Kindness. When you dont feel good and are treated with kindness, it makes you feel better. Im grateful for you.
Staff was AMAZING . The wait to be seen was short and the doctors were helpful and courteous. I recommend this place for all your medical needs.
Speedy, efficient and friendly staff. The NP that I saw was attentive and interested in my symptoms.
Visited today at 2:15 to get a strep test for my daughter. I checked several Urgent Care centers on-line and this one said there was no wait. Apparently, there is not a wait because as of Dec 4th, yesterday, they are no longer taking walk-in appts … and the next available was at 5:45 … 3 1/2 hours later. There wasn’t a single person in the waiting room and one other car in the parking lot. They need to cover up their sign and also have some kind of on- line notification that it is now by appt only.
Just a great place to go for treatment. The staff are professional and friendly. The service was great and quick
Wonderful...the entire staff was incredible. Check in went quickly...nurse & Dr.were so kind and accommodating...the entire experience went smoothly....couldnt have asked for better attention. Big thanks to the entire staff!!Sarah Duvall
Ive always had a good experience at Access Medical. I hadnt been in a while. I was going elsewhere but wasnt getting the treatment I needed. This time, I went back to Access medical. The automatic check in made it super convenient. My wait time was short but most of all the medical staff were awesome. The doctor especially was friendly, he knew exactly what I had going on and got me fixed up.
Care was quick, the staff was kind and understanding, they made accommodations when they knew the kind of care that I needed.Came a second time for a new medical condition I’ve never had before. Doctor and nurse were listening to my concerns and solved my issue. The front desk is as kind as always.
Very frustrating when all they want to give is give covid tests. Shocking i dont have covid. But i had to wait 30 mimutes for the test results. They really dont really want to help the patient or listen to the patient.
All of the staff were phenomenal! Friendly and caring. My visit was relatively quick…not a lot of wait time. I think I finished the daily mini crossword and today’s worldle during the “longest” downtime. I did have all my questions answered. Come here for your quick urgent care needs!
I came here to amc urgent care on mustang road and they took real good care of me. The lady at the front desk was real nice and she was very helpful and works hard. And the nurse who did my post accident urine analysis Alyssa Price I think her name was, was very patient with me and very thorough and did great work. I would give them a raise if I was their boss. Thanks
The lovely lady at the front desk was personable on the phone and in person. They were running late, which I expected. The back office was efficient. Tanya Keck PA-C, was caring and the M.A. was very efficient.Good experience all around.Recommend😊
I made an appointment which was smart they see appointments first. I paid my co pay, the nurse called me back she was very nice and friendly, she did her thing took the test put me in another room I waited just a little over 15 min. For the Dr. who cool and kind he did his thing gave me my discharge paperwork my notes for work sent my perscription and I was outta there.
Great people- couldn’t help me with dehydration but gave me the information I needed to get somewhere that could help without going to the ER
Very nice. The staff was friendly, the wait time was minimal (though we were the only one in the waiting room). Dr. Liliana was pleasant and friendly and explained what was going on in an easy to understand manner. We were in and out in under 20 minutes. Would recommend.
A great place to go Access medical on Rockwell Ive been going to them for some years now with both my grandchildren and even me they have always been courteous and prompt. The doctors and nurses are very nice very courteous and right on with whatever it is going on with all of us I would recommend this place to anybody Im almost 70 sometimes that age let people know Im telling the truth hopefully it will. God bless you all!
They advertise skip the wait and schedule online. I scheduled an appointment and arrived 15 minutes early as they suggest then they said there will be a 1 hour 30 minute wait. I told them I scheduled a visit online and confirmed and filled out all my paperwork online to speed things up and they said it would be a 1 hour 30 minute wait. I went south 6 miles into an urgent care in Mustang on the same road and there was no wait. If this happens to you then just call another local urgent care and go there. The online sign in scheduling is a joke. Dont do it.
The North Rockwell location is a quiet spot with quick service! the staff are respectful and nice. The PAs are great at listening to their patients as well as the nurses. They make patient visits comfortable and casual.Only recommendation make the phone line more accessible to patients. Anytime I’ve called I’ve been sent to the call center not the medical center. If this is not an easy fix put more info about the clinics on NextCare. Some people are not comfortable with opposite sex doctors. Knowing who is the Doc that day can make a difference if someone is seen for sensitive issues or not.
I am sick- nurse ran nose check-101 degree fever- ache all over—nurse said I had the flu. After sittin for over 2 hrs- the PA said it was not the flu and she did not have anything for me. What a cheap medic! Never go there again. That cost me over 30.00.
Excellent experience. Easy checkin. No insurance issues. The nurse was friendly and very good. PTA was absolutely incredible. She went out of her way several times. Incredibly good. Thank you all.
Excellent service! Fast and friendly. All staff, from the front desk clerk to the nurse and the provider were all professional and displayed that wonderful southern hospitality that comes from loving what you do and who you serve. I would highly recommend.
Best experience with an urgent care. Everyone is professional and courteous, they have testing and X-rays on sight. You can do your paper work and check in on line. You can see how many people are head of you and can wait inside or in your car. They offer walk in or appointments.
Nice and courteous, and did kind of what we wanted him to do and everybody was good there.
The receptionist was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with at a medical facility. She was having issues verifying insurance and while I was trying to answer questions to resolve the issue she rolled her eyes, interrupted me, spoke down to me and generally had a snarky response for literally no reason. I will never go here again and will be filing an official complaint as she personally interfered with me receiving medical care. Unacceptable from a medical clinic.
I came and with multiple dog bite wounds, and PA, Tran debrided them and bandage them up according to what she felt was needed at this time instruction instructions were very clear and plain to follow. Then I had x-rays and that didn’t take very long to get the results back with Del breakage everyone was nice and considerate, and very timely, from the from the time I walked into the axis Medical to the time I left, I would recommend this place for urgent care
The ladies in this office are amazing. So friendly, helpful and understanding. I went to another office and had a horrible experience. Night and day difference. The other office can definitely take some notes from this one. Thank you for all of your help!!!
We typically only go to Mercy urgent cares, but on a late Sunday evening, this was our only option - unfortunately it was an awful experience and we won’t ever be back or recommend. My young child is extremely ill and I felt better having her seen immediately rather than waiting for her pediatrician on Monday. We arrived at 7:00pm, an hour before their listed close time.Upon walking in there wasn’t really any sort of a greeting. I informed the front desk lady that my child needed to be seen and tested for possible Covid. I gave her a run down of her symptoms and went to do the online paperwork. After about 20 minutes the front desk lady said our insurance wasn’t valid. This was a surprise to me because nothing has changed. When I asked how much it would cost to just do self pay because I really wanted her to be seen, her response was “well what do you want us to see her for?”… UHH HELLLLLLO!!!! She obviously is ill.Her attitude was honestly enough for me to not even want to give them my business. A few minutes after we left.. the front desk lady also left. Which is odd because it was only 7:20.I feel like my child was denied care because they were ready to close.I took my child to her actual doctor today to find out 1. She does have active insurance (wow!) 2. She was positive for flu AND Covid. This could have been treated much sooner if it wasn’t for the careless staff at this place! DO BETTER!
I cannot express how thankful I am for the staff that helped me today. From the lady who checked me in to the very end,They were so helpful, polite and made me feel like a friend or family member. Definitely recommend!!
This place is a scam. Outrageously expensive even with insurance. I hate that we as Americans have to put up with this kind of extortion.
The sweet receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. I was treated well and taken care of. Thank you guys!
Kind and knowledgeable staff. Such an easy visit! Thank you!
It was very busy when we went today, so there was about a 40 minute wait past our scheduled time, but the receptionist was upfront about the fact that they were running late and told us what we could expect. Once we got in, everyone was efficient and we were in and out quickly with a diagnosis and a prescription sent to our pharmacy. All in all, a great experience despite the delay.
Very professional, kind, and concerned.Easy to talk to doctor and doctor listened.
Cracked a molar late Saturday. I’ll get into my dentist early Monday, but in the meantime, they were able to get me on an antibiotic and ibuprofen. Really appreciate it! My future crown does, too. :)
Ms Tammy at the front is so sweet, patient, and understanding with everyone coming in feeling so crummy. Very thankful for her. All the staff are pleasant in my experience and Ive been coming for years.
I made an appointment online for 5:40 p.m. it was not until 6:45 p.m. I was seen by the PA. She was incredibly friendly but immediately went to COVID as what was wrong with me, without testing me or offering to test for other illnesses. She was in and out within 5 minutes and another 8 minutes for me to be discharged. Everyone was very nice, but the wait was unacceptable. Next time, Ill do a telehealth appointment.
Everyone were very personally vested in me and my care. Grateful!
This place never sent my prescription to the pharmacy when i was deadly sick, and they treat customers like they arent valued, for example, i asked for medical records by email and they were “too busy” to send it over.
The staff and doctors at access are always very friendly and kind. It is always very quick and easy.
Nurse was quick which I appreciated. PA was still very courteous and had a great bedside manner even though I was one of the last patients of a very long day. I was prepared to give a great review! However, when I left and read my exit papers, I was annoyed that my paperwork said I was there for a Covid evaluation. The reason I entered I needed the appointment (electronically) and what I said verbally was that I needed a flu test because I had been exposed to and have symptoms of flu. Other than that, I was very pleased with the experience.
Very efficient, fast, informative! Should I ever need to return.... yes of course!
I did all my paper work online booked appt online walked in and was seen asap everyone was friendly and fast and explained what was going own and was out, with meds sent to pharmacy for pick up, great job ladies I would recommend this place if you are sick or feeling bad.
Amazing facility with kind and compassionate staff. Listened to all my concerns and went above and beyond to help me get to the bottom of my health issue. Used to go to Mercy GoHealth but will be coming back to Access Medical from now on.
My PA-C Lillian Tran is amazing! Her bedside manners are top notch! And she’s funny! Her assistant Lacy is wonderful as well. Thanks!
Very polite group of hhealthcare workers very much appreciated.
This is the only Urgent Care that I go to when Im not feeling well. Ive been going there for years. They are always super polite, friendly, and extremely professional. I would definitely recommend!
What a great team! From the lady at the front desk… To the nurse that took my information and blood pressure to the doctor!Very professional, very friendly, and very timely!! Everything was very organized and clean. I felt like I was heard and understood completely. Great job to this amazing staff!
Tammy at the front desk, sets off the best patient experience 👌 she is so helpful everytime my family has been in. Its fast in an out care. Great physicians as well.
The online check-in was fast and easy and I did it on my phone on our way there! After we got there, we only had to wait a few minutes before we were called back. The nurse took my son’s vitals and then right after she left a PA came in and diagnosed my soon very quickly! We were in and out and they sent the Rx to our pharmacy and we were done! So simple! I definitely recommend this urgent care!!
Very efficient and friendly. Great service and great doctor care!
Ive been going here, off an on, for years. Basically whenever its not convenient to see my regular doctor. So mainly colds and allergy related issues. Ive always been treated quickly and accurately.
My individual experience was really good. Staff was very pleasant. The only bittersweet part of it was the next day when I tried to bring my daughter in for covid-19 testing as a walk-in only for the front desk to say that theyre only accepting appointments. Which is odd when the website says they take walk-ins. The latter wasnt my entire experience, just wanted to be honest.
Wasted a 1 and a half just to be sent somewhere else for them to do my labs cause no one in the building was capable of drawing blood.
The front desk needed to know more about the required online paperwork and process as well and better customer service skills. She was not helpful in any way when my sons information did not go through. The nurses and Dr we saw were great; pleasant, very helpful and professional .
Service was pretty quick and the doctor was very helpful.
The staff was amazing during our visit tonight. My daughter was nervous about getting stitches but they were wonderful with her and the stitching job was excellent.
I scheduled an appt for 4pm. I was in and out in great time. The front desk and back office nurse were very professional and friendly. I’d definitely recommend the North Rockwell location for your healthcare needs.
I didn’t have to wait long and everyone was very nice. Dr. Bullock was super wonderful, he listened and was interested in what I had to say. I got exactly what I needed to get better. My PCP office takes about a month to get in, so it’s nice to know this place is here when I need something a little sooner. My only suggestion would be a charging station in the waiting room because the check in paperwork is done on your phone, Other than that, 5 stars.
I scheduled my appointment and was seen pretty quickly after checking in. Everyone was very kind and polite.
Our experience this past weekend at Access Medical Center on Rockwell was terrible. We were told (after having made an appointment and checking in online) our wait would be approximately 30 minutes and after an hour (an hour and a half after we checked in as they were still taking walk-ins) I asked for an update and the front desk staff was amazingly rude. We took our daughter to another Urgent Care and received amazing care right away.
The nurse and PA were very sweet and efficient. I do feel like people who went to the trouble of making an appointment should go in at their appointment time. I was on time and waited 40 minutes while walk-in patients went ahead of me.
There were many people waiting before me however we didnt wait long. Very efficient. The PA tested, confirmed and prescribed medicine within 25 minutes. We were serenaded the test results which made a less enjoyable outcome to a more pleasant one.
I took my daughter in 15 minutes before close and the staff was very nice and did not make us feel like they didn’t want us there. The staff took very good care of my daughter and was very friendly. Thank you!
I am really pleased with this place. I’ve taken all 3 of my sons here at different times and each time I set up an appointment online before coming, they got us back super fast! The drs are knowledgeable too!!! I will recommend to everyone!
This is a good clinic. We saw provider Kyle Johnson and he was knowledgeable and friendly. The nurse was good too. Tests came back negative for my daughter but was able to get a steroid shot. On line checkin is easy and you can book appointment online.
Andrea, PA, was very sympathetic and helpful. Rest of staff nice too.Update: got sicker by Monday, but couldn’t get anyone to pick up the line for over 30 minutes. Staffing issues? Don’t know, but it was very disappointing to not be able to get through. I had to go somewhere else after all.
I liked that they had rapid tests available and I was able to get my COVID results asap, while still in the office. Also, the ladies that helped me were nice and helpful. But their ‘appointment’ system is very inconvenient and backwards if I’m being honest. I had an appointment scheduled for a certain time and when I arrived to my appointment I was told there were 9 people ahead of me and there would be a 2 hour wait. I questioned what was the point of the appointment if I was still going to have to wait as if I was a walk in. The receptionist proceeded to tell me there pretty much was no point of making an appointment because I would still be seen in the order based on walk ins. To me that didn’t make much sense. It’s pretty common understanding that walk ins are taken when they can be seen, in between SCHEDULED appointments. It was very inconvenient and quite annoying that I showed up for my scheduled appointment and had to go back home and come back after waiting over an hour.
Prompt visit shortly after booking online and listened to my concerns and validated my feelings.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend.
Called before we went because of no insurance and was told the visit with culture would be $250. We left paying $350. Tried to call back to get manager on the line to help with rhis issue but billing option just got busy signal and was on hold forever that i just gave up.Only gave 2 stars because the medical staff was nice.
I had been falling around. The local ERs dont see a problem. This group had the compassion to allow my brother to fill out all the paperwork without any rush. Everyone from reception to discharge was great. They made me feel comfortable and as if I mattered.Thank you, people! Faye
Good care by staff, but extra care needs to be taken when placing info in files. Someone else’s flu results were put in my file resulting in being told that I had the flu even though no flu test was administered. All is good, but could have been a problem had I not questioned that.
We had almost no wait and were in/out very quickly. All of the staff were kind and sympathetic and very professional
The Rockwell location staff was very professional, friendly and caring. I had short wait time at the clinic and they called my prescription in promptly.
The staff was very helpful and sympathetic. My only negative is that they were short-staffed and had to turn people away (not their fault, obviously). But my care was great. I had a knee injury and the nurse/tech immediately offered a wheelchair and even wheeled me all the way out to my car. Good Covid standards posted and observed.
I wouldn’t recommend going here, I waited 2-3 hours just for them to be unable to get my labs for work. Use the same needle twice, and being completely unsanitary while grabbing my labs. I have never had such a huge bruise from getting blood work and it felt like my whole arm was contracted for the day.
Dr. Bullock was incredibly patient and informative. He was very inquisitive about my current situation and made sure he had full understanding of my symptoms. Once diagnosis, he was very thorough with explaining my treatment plan and gave tips/tricks to adjusting to some of the medications. Very much appreciate him and the staff today! All were friendly, quick and accommodating!
The team at Access Medical Centers Urgent Care were fantastic. I was seen quickly. The NP and PA team who saw me were thorough, listened to me regarding symptoms and concerns, and clearly gave me the care plan and follow up instructions.
All staff were kind and professional, especially Lisa Lakins, FNP.
I prefer this urgent care. When my family doctor cant get me in, this is my go to clinic. The staff is always so nice here and understanding.
They all were so good to be even the RN I was in and out and in one hour I was having a hard time doing it online filling out the paperwork but she helped me as soon as I walked in the door and took less than an hour that made me so happy they were so good at that location I would recommend friends and family to this location
The clinical staff is friendly and caring. My one irritation is with the check in system. Their waitlist is completely inaccurate. It’ll show you’re next and then 4 people get called ahead of you. When you ask the front desk they just tell you they can only see what you see.
While the wait was long, it wasnt their fault and they were extremely kind. I wish the PA there was in a practice and could be used for regular physician visits. She was wonderful and very personable. The one gentleman that was working with her was also very friendly. Id definitely go back there for care.
Save time, money and frustration and go somewhere else. When you call the local number it routes to a call center in AZ. They told me to walk in yesterday because there was only one person ahead of me. Got there and was told I couldnt be seen because they were understaffed and the call center doesnt know what is going on locally.I then made an appointment for today at 12:20. I realized before I left the parking lot I had a meeting so I went in to reschedule. She moved me to 1:40 today. I called the local number again (call center in AZ) to confirm the 1:40 appointment but was told they cant see the appointments online unless I scheduled online. So, I showed up at 1:30 and was told they only had the 12:20 appointment for me and it was cancelled. I would need to reschedule again if I wanted to be seen.I will not ever try this place again and warn you against the same. There are other facilities around town who have to work more efficiently than this place.
Loveliest people you could hope for in a care team
I rated them 4 out of 5 stars because we were the first there, but it took over 30 minutes to be seen. However, I felt all the employees were fantastic and very friendly given the early morning on a Sunday. I felt they listened to my concerns and really checked out my daughter. I would go back to them, but knowing there would be a wait no matter if you’re number one or the tenth person there.
I cant say enough good things about this location from the receptionist to the Dr.Everybody was amazing! I wont go anywhere else. I have been to Mercy Urgent Care and wont go back.
I went in for X-rays. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I was there only 40 minutes. They said they would call me with the official radiology report. I received a call less than 10 minutes after I left. Much better than the emergency room!!
Save your money and go somewhere else! Went to the facility they got me right in and out. Seem like it was ideal visit when you are sick and wanting to feel better. My issue with this facility is after I was seen they didn’t send my prescription over to Walgreens. Spent hours waiting on there customer service line because they don’t have a direct number for the location. I’ve called multiple times to there customer service spoke with 3 different supervisor and 28 hours after my visit I’m still waiting to get my prescription. I was just transferred to someone in there office and they are now requesting I come and pick up a prescription very inconvenient!
Busy as expected. They kept up and were efficient. Never followed through. Didnt send in prescriptions. Thank goodness for Walgreens hounding them for several hours. Giving Walgreens 5*****
The front desk staff are extremely helpful and compassionate!!! The nurse who did my check in was very kind. The Doctor I saw gave me lots of good information and I felt like he genuinely cared about my well being!!! I signed in online and was seen very close to my sign in time! I would recommend this place over and over and over again!
The staff and physicians here are great. Don’t hesitate to come. You will receive quality care.My one complaint is that it doesn’t seem to make a difference if you’ve made an appointment versus walking in. I understand that - to some extent - patients are seen based on the severity of their presenting problems, but this is the second or third time we’ve waited some time after arriving.
I had a great experience. I was seen right at my appointment time. Eryka(MA/RN) took me back for vitals. I then saw Kyle the PA. He was very thorough about explaining my medications and what he diagnosed me with. Eryka came in and explained what the next steps were. She was very kind and made sure I understood all my instructions.
Walked in five minutes before close with a scared kiddo who I thought might need stitches. Went right back where the nurse (wish I could remember her name) and PA, Jayci, were excellent. They were thorough, efficient, compassionate. They quickly realized my son needed to know what they were doing and what to expect, so talked him through every step. We were on our way to get ice cream in less than an hour, my son planning the best way to show off his three, brand new stitches.
Was in and out in under 30. Amazing staff and amazing speed. Love it.
Have arthritis and fibromyalgia at a young age.Have 6+ symptoms, but nausea prominent. Something for pain until I could make my appointment with my specialist three months later.Walked up to the door littered with notes.NO MATTER WHAT the signs say, “walk-ins welcome” isn’t true.Even on-site everything leads you to believe you won’t need an appointment!Well, you’ll need an appointment.Accessmedicalcenters.com is different than the one listed here on Google.Buggy too. I couldn’t do it after it kept freezing.I went inside because heat hurts my body physically and causes me nausea.Nope.“I can tell you for today we are booked,” she says. She didn’t even have to look at her screen. I wouldn’t mind waiting for a cancellation but the dismissal from her had turned me off to trying.I was in a lot of pain—there was nobody in the parking lot or waiting room. I saw others stop at the door for reading and saw two of three turned away.**At LEAST have an option of a sign with “walk-ins” lit up if it’s available. I travelled without my medicine because I thought it would be a couple of hours tops.I felt misled by thinking they’d be able to see me in the morning as a walk-in.I understand they’re short-staffed, but Mercy Go Health is too —yet their receptionists are always that: receptive.
Great treatment by Ed, the P.A. Very impressed with him and how he handled our case and really engaged us personally. He had to place sutures in my wifes face after a dog bite, and he did a fantastic job pulling the laceration back together cleanly. My wife and I are both veterinarians and can appreciate quality suturing. Many medical professionals dont suture often enough to do pretty jobs, but Ed really nailed it. He even called the next day to follow up. Thanks so much, Ed.
Wonderful staff, have my best interest in mind and very helpful
UPDATE: I appreciate the quick and efficient virtual doctor visits as well! So friendly and easy to do everything online.I also appreciate how all the paperwork is easier and the last time I physically went into the office, i never repeated myself once or had to write the same information down because it was all digital before i arrived! Thank you again!I always enjoy coming to this office for so many reasons! Their receptionist is refreshingly diligent and straightforward which is very appreciated when Im not feeling well or having a quick emergency for myself or my son. From the nurses starting the initial intake and vitals, the PAs asking through questions and administering the appropriate test or collecting whatever samples they need, to the doctors coming in with results and giving multiple suggestions to come to the best treatment options, I always feel respected and feel they have genuine sense of compassion and concern. My only very small complaint would be that I have to express my reasons for my visit way too many times. If I schedule my visit online, it asks me why I am needing to be seen to make the appointment, then there is an option to start your paperwork ahead of time and it asks for my reason to visit on there, when I arrived at the office I had to fill out the exact same paperwork where it obviously asks for the reason Im visiting, then nurse taking vitals asks me why I am needing to be seen today, then the PA comes in asking me why Im needing to be seen today, then if I have to be seen by the doctor, the doctor will ask me why I am needing to be seen today for the 6th time. Its just too much sometimes but nothing I cant handle because yall are just so amazing at everything else! Thank you!
This was my first visit and I am very pleased. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist was also very helpful and even helped me save close to $500 by informing me of their Medical Discount Plan which turned a $686 visit into $161!! The doctor Brookelyn Johnson, PA was awesome... even though I was a big crybaby... thanks for everything once again Urgent Care.
Staff was helpful and courteous. We were seen in a timely matter and the PA was efficient and listened to us as patients.
Receptionist is a bit aggressive and doesn’t have good customer service skills.. she had no eye contact and her body language screams “I don’t really want to help you”But the nurses and doctor are amazing and they are quick and efficient! Your receptionist is the face of the company PLEASE hire someone who looks happy and eager to help you when you aren’t feeling well
Medical staff all professional, kind and well experienced in their field. They took care of me and on the way towards healing.
I made an appointment for 3:20 pm. I arrived at 3:00. But I wasn’t seen until 4:40. So, my appointment was useless. I should have just walked in. I would have been seen just as quickly. The appointment was a waste of time. The staff was friendly and helpful. But, overall, I was there for 2 1/2 hours for a COVID test.
I can truely say they have great passion for the job they perform. Everyone was very professional and nice. I would return for urgent care anyday. Thank you for your Service
I have had 2 visits here and both times I have been very pleased. The staff is friendly, professional and thorough. The doctor and/or PA is very knowledgeable and. take time to listen to your concerns. I would prefer them over my primary care doctors!
Easy appointment time, easy check in, quick check in. I’ll come back. I love that we can go anytime.
It was a really really long wait....even had an appointment....but everyone was very friendly and patient...turns put they only had on Dr in that day....maybe some ppl called out with this awful flu thats going around....when I finally got back there it was awesome! Dr. Katie was awesome....totally listened to me and was sweet as pie!
They were wonderful and very nice. I had a palm laceration and they took me in at a last minute time of closing when I wasnt able to find anyone else available. I didnt wanna go to ER to sit and wait, thank you guys for taking care of me.
I appreciate that Dr. Fairlie was attentive to specifics relating to my health issue. A very positive experience regarding my need for urgent care.
The service was amazing but the front desk staff need more people skills and training. Very rude and being in the medical field myself respect is key
Everyone at this place was amazing. GOD sent these Three Angels straight from heaven specifically for me. I felt like a member of their family. They were genuinely concern about my health. Left there feeling like I was already Healed!!!! I recommend this site A Million times!!!
Excellent evaluation and care, but long wait for a walk-in
Very kind and clean. I wasn’t able to book online or call due to high call volume. I took my kid there to be tested the last at the desk was nice and helped me get him in today. I had to come back but it was better than driving around everywhere.
Scheduled an appointment online. Showed up in time, only to be told it would 2.5 hrs from appointment time!! And was only told this after getting there and waiting for 45 minutes. I overheard the receptionist telling another person checking in is the only reason I even knew. Don’t have scheduled appointments if it’s going to be 3 hrs from the actual time. I would have just went somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous!!
I actually preferred this one over any other hospital owned urgent care I have been to - they respected my appointment time and got me in and out as fast as they could and they were very friendly and professional and made you feel okay for not being okay. I will be coming here from now on !
I sliced my hand with a very sharp kitchen knife. I ran out of the house because my hand was bleeding profusely! When I arrived the receptionist asked about my phone. I explained I just ran out of the house because my hand would not stop bleeding. She hands me a clipboard with about 10 sheets to complete. I explain that I am left handed and that is the hand I cut. I also said I have my ID and insurance card. She then calmly states that they will not see me until I complete the forms. I take a deep breath as blood is streaming down my arm, and say thats okay. I left the clinic and drove to the Integris ER about ,2 miles away. They take my ID and insurance card and complete the forms. I scribble a signature and I am taken back five minutes after I arrived to get stitches and a tet. Shot.stop bleeding. bl
My son gets strep throat a lot, and I have always taken him here. Depending on the time of day will depend on how busy they are, but this time we were in and out of there in 30 minutes. There was no one in the waiting room. The longest I have had to wait was an hour and half, but the whole waiting room was full. The staff here is wonderful. The doctors listen to my concerns, and are very helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone.
Everyone was exceptionally nice. Clean facility, the 2 professionals that I talked to were very open and encouraged questions without interruption. I have the COVID and they were very comforting.
Very fast service, great doctor and staff. I come here all the time for cold/flu/strep situations as well as my yearly allergies since its so handy and you need no appointment. theyve always taken care of my problem just as well/even better than my primary care doctor, and in record time. Ive basically stopped going to my doctor and started going here as Dr. Welden has been great with prescribing me things that do the job, not things that cost extra and out more money in their pockets. all in all a great place.
Nice PA but i guess staff cant follow through and send Rx to pharmacy. Then you have to call call center that you have to hold for 20 min to get anything done and can’t actually speak to the clinic you visited!Use and pray that you don’t have problems!
This is the fast food chain of medicine. However, its the one that is not even fast. So we received cut rate care at a snails pace. No real benefit here that I can ascertain. A 2 hour wait before a Dr or most likely a PA will see you is crazy. Especially if there are not copious amounts of patients waiting. Made me wonder what they were doing all this time. Of course you pay top notch prices as well as they want you to pay for any deductible up front. No bills any longer I guess. Customer service is not their strong suit. There are other clinics not far where you can get better service and faster wait times.
Wife went here and was told that her visit would be a specific and affordable cost, even though they did not take our insurance. After confirming the price for the visit multiple times, we received an astronomical bill in the mail. When we called to alert them of the problem, we were told that the bill was correct and that we would need to pay it even though they gave us false information multiple times. They were unwilling to work with us in any way regarding this mistake.
The person answering the phones was very polite and got me scheduled right away. They were able to fit us in same day. The staff is wonderful, they got us in quickly and took care of us.
Highly recommend for necessary care when you cant get in to see your Primary physician. Short wait time, great care
I have had nothing but good experiences at this clinic. All staff very nice and helpful. I feel I have received excellent care. I have not had excessive waits. At times there have been others waiting ahead of me, and I was seen when it was my turn.
Lady was very rude instead of being nice. She snapped if you didnt have a mask on instead of asking. She always snapped saying no walks in and was very rude. Told me I shouldnt have entered without reading door but their signs are covered and ripped. Waiting room had no lights on and office had no lights on but front door was unlocked and it was past 8 am. Made an appointment for 11 am. Office lights still off. TV off.
We saw P.A. Andrea Leu-Henthorn today. She confirmed my sons flu AND took the time to speak to us about our questions and concerns. She was warm, professional and really good at her job. I was impressed! The facility was extremely busy with flu patients but I reserved a time slot online that morning and we were seen within 20 minutes of that time. Excellent!! We have new insurance, so this was my first time at Access Medical. I would recommend this Clinic to everyone. If you cant be seen by your regular doctor, this is the way to go. It fits into your schedule, they are open later hours, its a win-win.
Even the clinic is busy with online appointments, but still accepting walks in person like me. This is true urgent care clinic. Everyone (front desk staff , nurses and PA ) is helpful.
Friendly & professional! Kid friendly was a 10/10
Everyone was extremely friendly and happy! I felt they all cared. They definitely went the extra mile for me today!
They was very accurate very nice attitudes very friendly and move very efficiently in and out
Even though we had to do a curbside visit due to covid, the PA was thorough and compassionate in her dealings with us. She went above and beyond in working quickly to get a diagnosis and get meds called in for my daughter. Excellent service. Even the receptionist was kind and professional.
My deep wrist contusion injury turned out to be fractures. No one from the clinic bothered to call me with these x-ray results even though my exit paperwork said I would be notified of abnormal results. Broken bones arent abnormal?? I only found out 3 weeks later because I wanted the report & x-ray views going forward with my primary care doc. This has been an awful experience going to someone I thought I could trust and knew what they were doing. Very obviously not!!
This has got to be the slowest Urgent Care hands down. I have went a hand full of times because it is the closest to me and every time I go I tell myself that will be the last time. I have never went there when there has been more than 2 people in front of me, yet its about an hour wait to get in the back and another 30 minutes at the minimum to have someone come in the room. This last time will be the last time due to the fact they didnt fix my problem and I had to go to another Urgent Care that fixed the simple issue. I called to let an office manager know my issue w/ no callback. The office didnt seem interested in my bad experience at all. Please save yourself and go elsewhere. Drive a couple blocks further, its worth it.
Everyone we encountered was courteous and professional. The space was clean and we received efficient treatment. I was prepared to wait a long time but we were in and out in under an hour even though there were people before us. I will go back here when theres a need!
They were quick getting my daughter in and out however, we filled out all the paperwork online before hand then handed a clipboard when we arrived to fill out the same information again. When i asked about it the less than hospitable woman behind the counter said i need it done. Makes no sense.
Rude staff. Very unprofessional. We know we dont have covid and they refuse to test us for anything else. Absolutely ridiculous. Medical professionals change your title. Update into January we needed the paperwork from the last visit and they told us to come in and then proceeded to not answer the phone. This was less then 10 minutes after the first phone call and we stayed and called 5 or 6 separate times. At this point how the hell are you guys open if you treat people like this? I stand by my last review this place its terrible.
Very nice, friendly and efficient staff. 1st time there so I had to do some paperwork but it was short and sweet. Wait time was acceptable all things considered. This facility is handy to my home and I will definitely go back if the need arises.
I do not normally review places unless I love it or think its absolutely the worst. I went in with my two year old son because he had a respiratory infection that went into an ear infection. First, we got there right when it opened and had to wait an hour because a bunch of non-sick adults were there for flu shots, even though everyone could see how he was crying inconsolably and in a lot of pain. When we finally got seen, the NP was so unprofessional, abrupt, rude and impatient with my son because he wasnt being cooperative with her probing him. (He is two freaking years old!) She inexplicably tested him for RSV (she swabbed his nose so deep it bled a little) and said it was positive even though 4 hours and a $300 ER copay later, it was determined he did not have RSV, but an infection like I originally thought. And they probed him so much that he coughed enough to throw up a little. No sympathy whatsoever for him, all business. And then when the NP eavesdropped on my conversation with my mom about how I didnt think her diagnosis was correct and that they were not listening to me, she comes up and tries to scare me by claiming hes going to end up hospitalized if I dont take him to the ER this instant. Do not go this location unless you just want a flu shot. Youll get seen before any sick children who need care, dont worry.
Made an appointment for 5:30 pm, arrived and checked in by 5:21 but wasn’t seen until after 7pm. There was no point in making an appointment. You’re better off walking in or going to the ER if you can afford it.
When I was seen last night I had a good experience with staff though I feel are wasnt fully taken seriously and has forced me to go to another, better, UC today. I called and asked for a note to be excused from work and was rudely told that I must come in and it cannot be emailed. Drove out of my way only to receive test results from me being seen over 2 years ago?
I checked in online which did save me time. I checked in 30 min before I could be there, I sat in the waiting room for probably 5 min after filling my paper work out and the dr saw me almost immediately after I was put in the waiting room. The staff was friendly enough but just really going about there day. The dr did see me quickly but I felt very rushed and I wasnt really given the chance to talk and ask all the questions I wanted to.Update from previous post. What the dr gave me didnt work so I called to see if I could get in again but I was advised that the draw are in a rotating basis so I wouldnt be able to see him again. Im not impressed here so I went to express family medical they were amazing from start to end.
I got in quickly thanks to doing my paperwork online in the parking lot. I felt heard and was given treatment in a quick and friendly manner. I recommend this place if you’re in a pinch!
The staff is nice and friendly. It didn’t take long either until we were seen. They do book quickly for covid tests but that’s every clinic. Definitely recommend coming here!
Dr(?) Tran was absolutely phenomenal. Weve had some bad experiences with doctors lately and she was an absolute gem- perfect bedside manner, very thoughtful, very kind.
Fast ,very friendly and professional and efficient ! We were updated about our appointment early and notified on availability of the types COVID-19 testing . We had a great experience here and it was very easy and timely ! Thank you Access Medical !
Made an appointment online within 30 minutes of starting. Staff was punctual, friendly and thorough! Best health visit ever - no waiting in a room with other sick folks!
Listened to my health issues with genuine concern. And explained everything clearly.
Thank you for getting me in to be seen and providing a valuable service to the community. I was not aware of what all Access Medical Center could provide but after my first visit I learned enough that I will be back for future visits, if required. The staff was great and very thorough with all of the explanations.Very impressed!
Went to see if my ears needed cleaning or wax taken out. Everything checked out ok. Pretty fast getting and then back out.
Avoid this place like the plague. I made an appointment to have an ingrown toe nail treated. When the PA entered the exam room, I was told were not allowed to treat ingrown toenails. It was about a 60 second conversation and she then left the exam room. I was never examined. I was given a prescription for some antibiotics and told to find a podiatrist. My insurance company was billed $195 and I was charged a $20 copay. This place is clearly only interested in your money and couldnt care less about your medical problem. If they had told me when I made an appointment that they dont treat this type of issue, I wouldnt have bothered. They dont miss a chance to make a few bucks at your expense! I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Oklahoma Medical Board. This place is a joke.
From the parking lot I called them to make sure they do T-DAP vaccines. A girl named Stephanie answered the phone put me on hold. I was on hold for 15 minutes. The door says WALK INS WELCOME so i decided to put my mask on and go inside. She instantly started yelling at me to get out! Very rude and unprofessional. I will avoid this place from now on and suggest others do the same.
While the staff was fast and friendly at this Access Medical I felt a little like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I went in for symptoms that could be anything from the flu to a sinus infection and they checked me for the flu and strep, told me I didn’t have those, but never went any further with me as to if it was a likely virus or what based on the full scale of symptoms we discussed. I think for $30-$50 after insurance you could stand to spend more than 5 minutes in total with a patient. Especially when this Access was empty when I arrived. I understand busy, but everyone coming in your doors is paying for care and paying for answers and will expect both.EDIT: So I went into this Access Medical on Monday 2/11/19 with the symptoms of the flu, they tested me for flu and strep, provided me no answers other than it was neither. My boyfriend had been in the Friday prior and had only been given the strep test to which he has been given a negative result. We found out today we have both had the flu, my result was a false negative even though they swabbed both nostrils. Overall, not satisfied.
First review over the access medical center and would like to note that the staff is very friendly & professional, hardly any wait time to be seen unlike most. I will be recommending this place to any one to be seen and would also like to add how clean this medical center was, had a great experience even if I was not feeling at my best. I would also like to thank Edwin Chendra, PA for going above and beyond when it came to my health and trying to take care of his patients! Edwin did a check up over me, I discussed my symptoms and thought I had a common cold with a lot of drainage. Edwin looked in my ears and asked if I have ever had my ears cleaned out, my response was no, Edwin took 10-15mins out of his day to make sure my ears were 100% with no drainage and this made me feel that this place was for me and that finally someone actually cares about my well being instead of letting me know your ears are clogged should probably clean them. Which I do but I have never had them flushed to help my sinus block out. Edwin explained everytime he sees this on other patients that it is just a pet peeve of mine and will gladly take that extra step to make someone else feel that much better! This to me is true care for the patient, I know this might not be a big deal to some or even to Edwin, however this changed my day & outlook over this Urgent care. I have never had any PA or doctor go this far with me and I just want to thank him, the staff and this Access medical Center for caring for my family and I!
I really hate going to this place, but when your sick on the weekend there really isnt a choice. They are no longer allowing co payment. You now have to pay for everything up front. Just left after paying $110.00. Thats not even including all my meds. I will now wait to see my primary care provider from here on out. The doctor I saw was Peter Bullock and he was very nice in explaining everything in detail to me. The nurse was nice as well.
Dr. Bullock was amazing! Whole experience was quick and easy. He was very thorough and considerate. Couldn’t have went any better!
Very unclean & unprofessional. I was charged for 2 flu test that I told them I didn’t need bc I obviously don’t have the flu. Just to be told that I have an upper respiratory infection that anabiotic‘s apparently cannot cure or help with no over-the-counter medicine could help me?? The waiting room was dusty and so unclean. To this location several times yet they still had things in my chart that we are accurate and the nurse didn’t even know how they got there and said stuff like this happens all the time?? At a hospital?? Please save your money and go somewhere else I got charged $90 for something I didn’t even ask for. To this location several times yet they still had things in my chart that were accurate and the nurse didn’t even know how they got there and said stuff like this happens all the time?? At a hospital?? Please save your money and go somewhere else I got charged $90 for something I didn’t even ask for this place is literally a joke if I could read it less than one star I totally would but Google doesn’t give that option- I never leave horrible reviews but I hate for anyone to have the same experience as me and then when I tried to ask what the charges were for the lady laughed in my face and told me to go ask my parents like I’m not 21 years old at the doctors office by myself. Please just go to the other urgent care that’s a literally across the street and don’t make the same mistake as me.
Fortunately no one was ahead of me. Great service. In and out! Using latest technology… Forms were app driven and Quick to fill out! Required minimal information… Rather than lifetime history of medicine/health records they don’t look at
