The only complaint I have is the correct dosage for my prescription was not called in. I had to send a message asking for more to be sent in to my pharmacy that would last the full 10days as prescribed. Which adds another copay and having to go back to the pharmacy.
My daughter has been in out if doctors her whole life so far. Needles to say she is not a fan. But with this place she listened and had no problem! She loved everyone. Thank you for all your help with all my questions and making her feel completely comfortable with yall! ❤️
Check-in process was simple staff were amazing and cared about my symptoms. The nurse assistant even turned out the light because I had a migraine while she took my vitals. The Nurse Practitioner was informative and listened to my needs overall great experience.
Not really a fan of this establishment. They aren’t very helpful. The NP will tell you everything is an allergy when it’s not.She told my daughter she had an allergy when she really needed antibiotics.I have personally been ill and was given no diagnosis no direction on how to feel better or what to do. Each time we visit we end up making appointments with our PCP right after because we get either no answer from them or they say it’s allergies. The people are nice but they don’t seem to know what they are doing most of the time.
The facility is clean and nice however staff made me feel embarrassed and unwelcome. The medical assistant who drew my blood had an attitude. After my visit they just handed me a packet and sent me to the lobby with no explanation on the next steps. After 15 minutes the same medical assistant asked what I was still doing there and I told her I was having trouble logging into the link they sent me so I can view my results. She told me she was gonna meet a friend outside and that she would be back. She finally helped me so I can go about my day. They also didn’t even check my ID upon check in. Such an unusual experience, please go somewhere else!
The provider was very nonchalant, and inpatient. I was left feeling like my questions annoyed her. Although she did try to clean it up after realizing, I felt away with her responses. The damage was already done. First impressions are everything.Otherwise, the facility is clean and the wait time was reasonable.
Probably one of the best interactions I’ve had with an urgent care hospital. The nurse who checked me in and took my vitals/history and the doctor who saw me were so sweet and kind. Hopefully I don’t need to go back but if I do I will be going back here.
When I walked into the office, I was greeted by a friendly and polite professional who made me feel at ease right away. During my appointment, the doctor showed genuine concern for my well-being and took the time to carefully investigate my issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I felt well-cared for throughout the entire process.
My recent visit to Novant Health was both professional and thorough. The desk staff was very attentive and accommodating and the attending PA was friendly, courteous and thorough in her assessment. I strongly recommend this new, spacious, clean location for your urgent healthcare issues.
I was highly disappointed with the level of care or concern shown at this Novant URGENT CARE. The hours on Saturdays are 9am-5pm so when I walked in at 3:50pm with my infant and was told “we aren’t accepting anymore walk-ins” I was beyond upset! The waiting room area was literally empty but they don’t have to worry about me using or recommending them over Atrium again, THIS IS RIDICULOUS!
Very professional and quick to be seen. Smiling faces when entering and immediately greeted. This urgent care always has helpful doctors who are able to help any problems we’ve had.
Quick service, professional, but very expensive. My insurance was billed $341 for a 15min visit to get an Rx with no tests. If you have a high deducible plan (like I do), youre going to be stuck with a minimum ~$200 bill.
The front staff workers were very professional, caring and helpful. The doctor was concerned about my issue and was very informative and also gave me a referral for a primary physician which I needed, since Im a new resident. Thank you for your hospitality.
Everyone was very nice and friendly and went out of their way to help me, truly a pleasant visit, If needed I would go back
We had a great visit! The staff working up front got everything handled and the provider was great. I woke up to reserve a spot and there was tons of openings. I wish urgent cares had x-rays but its not just Novant with this, its also Atrium. Ill use this for future use!
I went today with 2 of my children. I, unfortunately, did not have one of their insurance cards. However, because they use medicaid, every single healthcare provider is able to look up policies. When I mentioned I did not have the card and requested that it be searched the person at the front desk, Shavinee Johnson responded that she would only check the novant chart, but that she was unwilling to check the system. After contesting this, she then stated that she would try. Something that shouldnt have been a problem because there were very few people in the office. After setting up a chart for the one child with the insurance card, she then stated she couldnt find the others insurance in the system, which let me know she did not, in fact, try. She then stated that I could either pay $136 or cancel his appointment. When we were taken back to the room, she was the same person doing triage for the child with insurance. When asking about the symptoms, I explained that the one childs symptoms began this morning when the others had started several days ago as a means to give insight into the trajectory of symptoms, because that is relevant information to have. She then cut me off, saying, No, we are only seeing the one child. When attempting to explain my reason for bringing this up, she kept speaking about how she felt disrespected by me at the front desk for calling out her ineptitude and unwillingness to make the effort to find my childs insurance in the system, something that has never been an issue at any other location. She then stated that she did look up the insurance but that he was not in any system and did not have it. (Which was a lie). While speaking with the doctor, she continued to only care about how she felt slighted and not the actual care for my child that was clearly ill. As a result, I left. Her EGO prevented my child from getting the care he needed at this location. That and her not wanting to take the extra step to assist with check in, because she wanted it all done online.Funny enough, I was able to go right down the street to Atrium health where they were willing and able to check the system, confirm that he is, in fact, covered, and was able to be seen.We will never be returning to this place. People who actually care, like the doctor that was trying to intervene, should be employed. Not someone who simply doesnt want to make the effort to help out a child in need. Shame on her.***** UPDATE*****After reading several other reviews, it sounds like not properly checking insurance, and being rude about it is a common issue with this location. Might want to reconsider that employment. Unless, of course, this is a svhme that several people are in on. I watched multiple people attempt to pay their co-pays or out of pocket, yet the card reader wasnt working. And she was the only one available to fix it. 🤔
Every time we have came to this location it has taken so long to be seen. No matter if we have an online appt and even get there early. We have literally been here for 2 hours today and I could understand that if there was a lobby full of people but there was only one person ahead of us. It seems as if they just take their time and don’t really care to work more quickly to get patients seen. Very frustrating. Most of them are nice but honestly the fact we have had to wait so long is unreasonable given how slow they are. Really would like to understand why the people working here just sit in the middle area on the computers or talking while people are either waiting in the room to be seen or waiting in the lobby. Just ridiculous slow.
Never going back here again. was waiting in the room when all of a sudden i felt very dizzy, waved down my nurse, he looked at me and then walked away, then asked someone at the desk for water and told her i felt dizzy and she pointed me to the water. i had got me some water, sat down in the chair hallucinating about to pass out so i sat down on the floor with the trashcan in between my legs moaning and groaning needing help and i threw up multiple times in the waiting room and the nurse at the front desk didn’t even bother to ask me if i was okay, ask if i needed anything, didn’t even look at me. probably had her airpods in because there’s no way no one could’ve not heard me hurling. after i was done and coming back to reality, she looked at me and said “are you checked in?” and i pointed to the room i had been waiting in for 45 minutes already, my face was still pale as a ghost trying to catch my breath still and she did absolutely nothing. not to mention, my nurse made me take my OWN temperature under my tongue. people cant even do their jobs these days. so rude. will never go back to this urgent care again.
First time ever going to this facility for any type of care but I wanted to get a Covid test. I was greeted at the front desk by a very kind and friendly receptionist/nurse. I told her what I was there for and filled out a few forms. The test was administered and the doctor, I think her name was Lisa and gave me my results. I would recommend this facility.
Front desk staff was very nice, nurse practitioner gave me a very half a** exam. Felt like a complete waste of my time, Atruim urgent care provides much more personal service.
Good experience. Went in at 9 left at 10. Felt like I had the flu. They did a Covid, flu and strep throat exam. I was positive for strep so they prescribed antiobiotocs. Everyone was nice and the place was clean.
I made an appointment online, gave information with ID and insurance info via photos. Arrived 10 minutes early, signed in on the front iPad. Staff were very nice, met with PA Lisa Brown who was awesome! Took care of me quickly, sent prescriptions to my pharmacy. Gave me a print out of everything and I was on my way. This place is what any urgent care should be. Hopefully I don’t get sick again, but if I do, I will definitely go here again! Very clean, very nice friendly staff. I was seen on 2/5/24. Thank you for all you do, it’s not easy dealing with sick, hurting people but you got me on the right track for a quick recovery! Dejay F.
Shevinee Johnson was so amazing. Her interpersonal skills are out of this world. She was so sweet and caring. She made my visit very pleasant.
The front staff was very friendly. The nurse and doctor were awesome. They answered all my questions and didnt act rushed even though they were super busy. I was a walk-in and was seen within 30 minutes. I was very happy with my visit and will definitely recommend it to all my friends and will definitely be back if I need to visit urgent care in the future.
Genuine concern for how bad I was feeling from the provider. I didnt feel rushed and she listened fully to all of my concerns. Friendliness from all staff despite how busy they were. Front desk displayed so much patience and respect to each walk-in that they couldnt fit in for the day (some of the walk-in clients were rude).I Strongly recommend making an appointment if possible during this cold and flu season. Self-Service appointment setting is the future in an over worked under staffed Healthcare society. I chose this location because making an appointment online was extremely easy to do. I work in IT and appreciate a simplified, user friendly application. There are other Urgent Care facilities in the immediate area but Ill continue to make Novant GoHealth Urgent Care my first choice when seeking care.
Adrianne,NP and nurse assistant, Ms. Johnson is an A-team! I witnessed excellent customer service in all arenas including dealing with difficult patients...and not once did they falter. I also experienced considerate and empathetic care from them both. Even their relationship as provider and care team was remarkable. I would recommend this duo thru NH anytime!
We visited because my son (almost 2) wasn’t feeling too well. The staff did everything to help him feel comfortable and were very patient. He was quickly diagnosed and sent us on our way.We had lots of appointment times to choose from and we were seen pretty quickly.Would recommend this office to anyone!
I was thoroughly pleased with the level of service provided. I came in as a walk in and was seen quickly, despite being a walk in. Shevinee, the CNA was super nice from the beginning to end. She and the nurse practitioner were attentive, reassuring, and answered every question in a caring manner.
Excellent Customer service! Everyone was so very friendly. Clean and organized facility. Great location-easy to find.
Compassionate and professional staff. Getting an appointment was very easy, and I did not have to wait long at all, even though my issue was minor and there were several groups ahead of me. I was very shocked at the efficiency of the team (in a good way of course).
I made appointment at 4, I was not seen until 5pm. The people are the check in wouldn’t provide any information, they said that the urgent care was backed up and behind schedule! The doctor was really nice and she sent to the emergency room. The front desk needs to work on communication better! If you make an appointment you shouldn’t have to wait for 1 hour, if you do have to wait their should be communication regarding the schedule being behind!
Fast friendly professional. Awesome job by the doc and staff making me comfortable and getting diagnosis back fast explaining the requested prescriptions to ensure my confidence. We even shared a funny together trying to remember cast member names from a 1970s sitcom.I will 100% return to this location with my urgent care needs.
Brought my 19 month old in here after an injury. The staff were all so helpful and patient. There is no worse feeling as a mom than your baby be hurt/sick and you feeling like you can’t do anything. I was able to relax and breathe while there and it was an amazing feeling! The office was super clean and tidy. I highly recommend this office if you are in need of urgent care services! Thank you all for your dedication to your job and your patients!
It was so nice not to have to wait to be seen. Linda was great! She treated Mom with the utmost respect and care. We enjoyed her sense of humor. Will definitely recommend this facility to others.I do wish it would have been possible to get X-rays taken. Hope that is in the cards for the future.
Shevinee Johnson, (medical assistant) and Aries de Vries, PA was very nice and professional. Both was attentive. Overall I am pleased with how I was treated from the time I walked in and released.
The place is very clean and we were welcomed even though we were sick. They did not feel afraid of being around us. Very caring and listened. I would recommend this facility when you need Urgent Care.
This is the nicest office with nicest staff that I have ever met, and Novant health care. From start to finish it took approximately one hour and I was a walk in.Examination was very thorough. Nothing was left on turn. This is what it was prior to the pandemic and that many people have turned away from. I would not hesitate to go back here or send a friend a family member or anybody that needs urgent care I would recommend this place..
This facility is everything you could ask for. I was very ill last Friday and visited this Urgent care. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Shevinee Johnson checked me in with a smile and made sure to keep me up to date throughout the process. It was a 5 star experience and I will be using this service in thr future.
This place is awful. Their medical care (if you dare call it care) is an absolute joke. But their administration is even worse. I gave them my drivers license and insurance card (which they scanned and put into the system) but they didnt bother updating my address from the old address from almost 10 years ago. They also listed me as self pay even though I gave them my insurance card. Now, I am getting calls from a collection agency. I called their billing department and they said that the person at the registration didnt bother updating my address and listed me as self pay because she didnt feel like changing my address and didnt bother to put the new insurance info in. There should have been zero bill, but due to the laziness of the receptionist at this office, I am now spending my day dealing with all of this nonsense. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Ernistene the front desk receptionist was extremely rude. Soon as I walked in with my infant she told me to have a seat without checking me in. I had registered online for my appointment. After 20 minutes of waiting. I asked another receptionist who came from the back to check my son. After a hour of finally getting called to the desk. Ernistene goes to say I didn’t have my infant’s insurance card. And she couldn’t see him. She should have told me that from the beginning instead of waiting all that time with a newborn. She had a nasty attitude and seemed irritated. Go elsewhere!!
I was directed to this office since my PCP did not have any openings until later next week. I called the office to find out if they were accepting walk-ins. The first thing that the phone recording says is that they are accepting walk-ins. Great! I drove to the office only to be told by a smug young lady that they weren’t accepting walk-ins and that I would need to make an appointment. This was frustrating since I felt terrible and had made the drive based on information received from that office. As a service to your patients, you need to change your message to reflect the status of the operation.
Amazing staff! The bedside manner was perfect. I honestly wish they were in my primary care office (that I dont have)
Made appointment online which was simple. Showed up on time. Nurse greeted us, we waited a very reasonable time, we were seen together as a couple, and were treated with kindness, professionalism and care. Great experience!
I came in about 7:45 and they refused to treat me. I heard one of the workers say they can’t see anyone else today. There was absolutely no other person inside. I believe they just didn’t want to stay past 8 treating me because both of the workers looked the at clock as I approached the desk. If a person arrives before they close they should be treated. I could possibly understand if a lot of people were waiting, but it was a ghost town. I went across the street to Atrium Urgent Care, it was 5 minutes before they closed and there was no hesitation to treat me even with another person waiting.
Quick check in. Friendly staff. Very nice and efficient PA. Clean atmosphere.
All! From the Emergency Room to my room 206 all 2nd floor nurses. PAs & attendees as well as radiology & food everyone was professional and very kind never waited for anything.
4/10/24Clean environment, courteous staff and this was a walk in with no long wait to be seen by Lisa who took the time to explain everything to me.I recommend this place.
Please don’t go here. I had a mild issue and the refuse to take my information and sent me to the ER. The ER nurses were completing aggravated because this urgent care is known for sending people to the ER for minor issues so often.Completely lazy and I know have a bill that’s 5x times the amount for something they could solved. Extremely rude, insensitive and definitely not a place that should be in business for healthcare.
The place is very clean and everyone there is courteous and nice, dont want to go back but if I need to for something this is where Id go if possible
First time I went to location was this past Friday. Black lady at front desk was very nice and pleasant. Even though I had to wait about 30 min over my time, she apologized and listened to me once I explained to her what was going on. She then said the Dr would be in shortly. Once I did my urine test Dr came in and explained what was going on but she seemed a bit in rush but I brushed it off. 3 days after, this past Monday, I went back cause something fell felt off. This other black lady at desk was pleasant and the black guy was friendly too. As I’m waiting in room I hear the Dr ask him what was going on he explained he left my charts up so I could explain it cause I was just there Friday but needed to come back. She says NEEDED TO COME BACK like it was a problem. So a nurse came in and I had to tell her the story all over. She seemed inpatient and was rolling eyes. Again I brushed it off because it’s my health I need to know before going further. So she did what she needed to and got everything figured out, but she did more than what the Dr did last time which made me feel better because she went into dept.so this morning received results and needed my prescription was said filled. Went to normal pharmacy to find out it was sent to wrong location. Called and someone answered phone saying Urgent care…uhmmm hello ma’am was calling because they sent my prescription to wrong pharmacy. Well who is they, who is they in a rude manor. I said the nurse/Dr I seen couple days ago. She say well I don’t see you listed I said are you sure, is this Corning place location? She responded yes and I don’t see you. You are such and such correct? No you didn’t ask for my name ma’am. Well that’s what showed up on caller ID. I said well that’s not my name SMH. So the. She tried to argue with me about which medicine was what and that it was sent to correct location. I said look you’re not listening, you’ve been rude since you answered the phone. Well ma’am I’m trying to help you. You can’t help me if you’re not listening to what I’m telling you cause you keep cutting me off. Then finally she found my information and I asked for her name and Linda you were RUDE. If you don’t want to do your job then you shouldn’t be there. Never have I experienced such bad service at a doctors office.
I highly recommend. The staff here was prompt, courteous, professional and most importantly empathetic. We were in and out and Dr. Reynolds and his staff were very thorough and informative.
Everyone in the center was very accommodating. I felt horrible and they were all patient. I ended up being diagnosed with COVID. They told me what to do and I was on my way. Great staff! Thank you for everything!
The environment was very clean, I even mentioned that to the receptionist nurse and congratulated the team with a big 5 🌟. Nurses were so professionals with a great customer service experiences, the Provider was very kind and extremely professional. We spent a great time and will use their services the next time. I highly recommend them to all.
The staff was amazing. From walking in to the door with the front receptionist to being checked in and speaking with my daughter. The doctor that saw us was amazing and informative. Very helpful. Would definitely recommend this location to friends and family
Very nice facility, PA and other staff very nice, however Linda N. The receptionist was very rude, condescending, confrontational and just down right nasty. NOT the person you want greeting patients. She was very unprofessional and I would never recommend this facility just due to her poor professionalism.
Waited forever, got placed in a room, waited over an hour in room. Not impressed with my visit.
Staff and the clinician are prompt, informative, caring and patient focused. What more can be expected?
Visiting from out of state, I come to Mount Island since it was nearby. The staff was great- easily checked me in. I did not wait long at all. The tech was friendly and had a nice chat with and the Provider was also friendly and outgoing. She didn’t make me feel bad for visiting for basically a head cold and ear infection. I also witnessed an interaction with the provider and another patient in the lobby where she was honest with him and wanted to see what degree of help he needed (Urgent care vs ER) to not waste anyones time. Very friendly. Would def visit again if I was in the area and needed to be seen.
The staff were lovely and personable . They worked hard to get everyone attended to. A young lady went around and offered the patients warm blankets , gestures such as this are very meaningful to those who don’t feel well !
The MAs the doctors were very patient and kind. They explained everything that they were doing and took their time to make sure I knew what was going on.
Extremely rude and unorganized. It is always dirty in the exam rooms. The front desk lady is terrible & probably one of the rudest people I’ve met. It is worth the drive to Huntersville or Denver. Don’t waste your time.
Self service from check to leaving. They gave me a culture kit upon arrival and showed me the bathroom and said to do my own culture. The Dr came in after, but Im not sure why, as she never looked at me. Just said I sent your meds to your pharmacy and we sent out your culture to the lab. You can go. Im like your not even gonna look at me?!
I went here for tooth pain on a Friday may 26th because this was my last resort since it was a holiday weekend. I told them I knew there was nothing they could do because they’re not dentists, so I said I just needed pain medicine until my dentist appointment. Over the phone the lady told me $135. I came & paid. On June 1st, I was charged an additional $69.60. The doctor looked inside my mouth with a wood stick for 5 seconds, and I left. The doctor didn’t run any tests on me, so why am I being charged extra? Im paying an extra $69.60 just for a doctor to talk to me for 5 seconds with no real solution? OBVIOUSLY. I see other reviews saying the same thing, so clearly this is normal activity for them. I called the billing department and spoke to someone regarding the extra $69.60. They told me the establishment should’ve told me $135 wasn’t the full amount that I’d be paying, it could possibly be more. He apologized for their mistakes. So having information left out and having to owe more money feels like a scam.
Didnt care for Lisa D at all, not sure what her title is. The entire visit was off.
I was able to be very quickly even though I was a walk-in. The staff is very personable! The PA-C Lisa C. was both professional and caring!
Im highly disappointed i came in on the 25th for a checkup since i’ve been having a crunchy cough and wheezing felt in my lungs , barely checked my throat listened to my chest and after told me i had “allergies” i’ve had allergies plenty of times to know this wasn’t allergies AT ALL , Since then my cough has gotten worse and Today i went to another urgent care and come to find out i had bronchitis, so my experience wasn’t all that well not only did they misdiagnose me but gave us looks like we didn’t know what we were talking about , 😀..
I have visited twice since December for the same issue. Each time I was treated my Dr. Audia Ellis. She is a ray of sunshine in the medical profession. Each time I was put at ease and treated like a patient, not an obstacle in her day! I am very appreciative!
Erin Wagner, PA-C is one of the best providers I have ever came in contact with. She was personable, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and professional. She took her time with me and answered all my questions. She addressed all of my needs. She is a great listener. I wish she could be my PCP. We need more doctors like her. She is definitely an asset to your team! She pays great attention to detail and she decreased my anxiety level before I left that visit. I am so happy I chose NH Go-Health on that day because I usually go across the street to Atriums urgent care. Not any more. NH Go-Health where Erin works is where I will go for urgent care needs from this point on. Thanks Erin! You rock!! Keep up the excellent work!!
Ms. Linda the PA was great. Very kind and very helpful. The facility was more than clean and Everyone was so professional
Fast friendly service by the reception staff was appreciated. Spotless facilities did not go unnoticed by me. Having a provider listen and take the next steps to get me service at the hospital were handled in an expedited fashion and the hospital had record of the referral. Diagnosis was spot on and resolved that afternoon. Thanks for working weekends!!! ;)
Clean place. Friendly staffHad to edit my review because I received an unexpected bill a week later for $125 after having already paid $135.Just be aware that you may think youre paid up when leaving but arent.
Well this is my first time at this location. The CMA that was covering the desk was very rude. She actually yelled at my son for pulling his mask down to wipe his nose. He and I were the only one in the lobby. And we were over 20 feet from the desk. There is not a restroom in lobby. And he is a minor I say this to mention there was no chairs in exam room for parent to sit. I waited almost an hour (55 minutes) after my save your spot time. I hope I am not STANDING in exam another 55 minutes until the doctor comes in. I will edit this review to let you know. However, it goes I will never come back to this location! And plan on doing formal complaint.
They were extremely passive aggressive and unorganized. I signed in online for my daughter and when I got there they claimed to have not gotten it, despite her name being on the board as a registered sign in. They claimed to have not been able to find her insurance card, but another Urgent Care could. Do NOT go to this urgent care they are horrible and have an unnecessary complex towards patients.
The woman at the front desk was so rude. I wish I would have gotten her name because I’d tag it here. I was asking a simple billing question after she stated I had a balance. I asked he what was the balance for? Her response “it’s from a previous visit” understood but for what service? My son came in for a school physical which I paid for. So I asked again what is the balance for. No answer just attitude and are you paying it? Um no I’m not paying for anything when I have no idea why. Needless to say I got nowhere and ended up calling billing. The gentleman on the phone looked into it like she could have and took care of the issue. SMH I won’t be going back to this location. Terrible customer service
We were late for our appointment and they still made accommodations to see us. The staff was pleasant, professional and efficient.
Went in to have my swollen knee checked out . Lady at the front seat was very unprofessional.Did the online check in , went to my car to wait for a call to come in. I was the only car/ person in the parking lot . 10-15 minutes later a lady calls about my insurance, she goes to say they don’t have my insurance listed and I could pay out of pocket. I explained to her that our doctors were all Novant . She started getting very unprofessional and told me to go somewhere else and that’s what I did. I’ve never been talked to so ugly .I went across the street to Atrium and they were very pleasant and warm and my insurance was just fine with them ..I would not recommend Novant urgent care on Mt Holly/Huntersville Rd.
Had the most pleasant experience at Novant @Mountain Island…from the young lady at the front desk reception staff, the P.A. Lisa who listened to my needs and met them and the Nurse or assistant taking my info/vitals who stated that “she treats people the way that she would want to be treated if she were ill”…Wow.I thank them all for their kindness and compassion. Thank you for turning a miserable day into a little bit of sunshine. 💗🙏🏼
I gave a 1 star because I couldn’t give a zero. I had the worse 30 second experience ever in this place. I came as a walk in and was asked loudly “what do I need to be seen for” around other patience’s . The associate didn’t want me to come to the window . I had personal issues that I did not feel like I should have to say in front of people but she insisted on embarrassing me. I expressed my reasoning and was so shame I decided not to be seen. I called the supervisor and did not get a call back. I would never go there again. I was embarrassed in front of people and the associates were extremely insensitive and rude. I work in the medical field and I would never humiliate a patient by making he or she express their symptoms or say their medications out loud. Do not go to this urgent care unless you are ok with the world knowing what you’re there for.
Horrible service. Scheduled my daughter an appointment for a tele-visit. Was told I had to take her in. Took her to this location appt was at 12:10 asked if I could leave and come back they said no she may get in sooner. Then they call asking if she wants to just be swabbed I said no the tele-visit provider said someone needs to listen to her lungs. They said they were getting a room ready. I had to use the bathroom nobody in the building and all the rooms were ready. As I’m finishing using the bathroom I’m like there’s no soap. Receptionist with a nasty attitude says ma’am just wait and bobs and weaves her head.I go back outside cause of course it’s our time and we are still waiting talk to the people beside us their appointment was at 12. They had just pulled in 15mins before their time but we couldn’t leave. No option to do both Covid test because “they were limited”. FYI I work at an urgent care and they are waaayyy bigger than us. But ok if you say so.
Ir was a fast wait timw and everone was really nice
After being seen by Linda Royson (FNP), I couldnt be more grateful for her knowledge and the way she actually really cares. The follow up call put her over the top in my eyes. Thank you so much Linda! Im back to normal today because of you. LeAnn Brenner
Great staff/Dr, very attentive and caring. Fast and easy visit, was in an out with my note in 30 mins.
My husband had the worst experience 9/14/23 at 11am. The doctor asked him what else could she do for him? Ummmm run test & not show ur lack of concern. Horrible
My Medical Professional was very kind and engaging. She was safety conscious with her gear and warm with her conversation while we waited on the results.I was negative and relieved and I really enjoyed waiting with her.
Very efficient & professional, they were able to squeeze me in when I signed up on the wrong day- saw how sick I was thankfully. Linda Royston was just top notch !!
Very professional, clean, got in right on time. Thanks you all are great❤️
Because of the kindness and professionalism i received at this Urgent care center from the time I walked in the door with the receptionist, to the doctor and nurse, to my exit, I would like to start looking at switching primary care to a doctor within Novant. I have been having problems within the Atrium network where the doctors dont take the time out to listen to my concerns, to address issues from all sides and it ends up with me having to get a second opinion, and it ends up being something that I was concerned over in yhe first place. The empathy and kindness of the PA and nurse were so much better. They listened to my concerns unitterupted, so i could finish my 4 to 5 minutes of explaining what i feel, and allowed multiple test at once instead of just one, so i would not have to make extra trips and spend unnecessary money on additional visits. This to me is true care. Listening to concerns and the providing your professional suggestions and care.
Don’t go here. Bedside manner is horrible. Go to Atrium ER across the street.
I was greeted with a warm smile from Front Line Association upon my time of arrival for my appointment. Wasnt long before I was escorted to examine room by Ms Jonika, NA with a willingness to assist & assure me I was in good hands. She preformed my test with care. Ms Kristina, NP was very attentive to my health care needs. Also, she give me good healthcare advice about my healthcare concerns. Thanks to all the Healthcare Team Members!
Very nice front desk personnel and clean waiting area but the service was EXTREMELY slow even with an appointment. Also, the provider seemed annoyed at me for asking how much longer of a wait it would be and did not perform a thorough check of my body.
Fast service with knowledgeable & friendly staff ! New location by chic fil has a very nice set up even have a coffee/tea station as u waiting. Thanks Iesha and Lisa for a pleasant experience even tho I was under the weather.
Making an appointment was easy, location was also easy to find. Staff was helpful and friendly. Sadly wait time very long.
Attempted to schedule my son for an apt online but there was no appointment availability. The website says walk ins only. I called to double check that they were indeed booked and they said there are walk ins available but they are fully booked to schedule an appointment. My husband took our son so he was there before opening at 8am for a walk in. He was then told there is no availability for walk ins but he can schedule an appoinent and come back later tonight at 7pm. My husband gets there tonight and they cant find our sons apt. in the system his appointment was not showing up. They also have changed their policy so he was not allowed to get a rapid covid test he was only given the option to get the test that takes 1-2 days. This policy change should be CLEARLY communicated when appointments are made that if you are symptomatc of covid they no longer allow you to get the rapid covid test. Im not sure when this policy took effect bc I took my son in months ago and he was symptomatic and they gave me the option of which covid test. Also, be aware that their system is not linked with Novant seamlessly as the website says so when you schedule your profile with your medications will not be transferred from your novant profile you must enter all your pertinent medical hx and information in to their system.
Novant Urgent care was the best place available for my care. They took care of me quickly and I never felt rushed. The PA answered all of my questions. He was so considerate.
We made an appt as we were in need of a covid test. We had not been exposed but wanted to visit our daughter who is expecting her first child. I appreciated that they expedited our COVID test so we could feel confident visiting our daughter safely. The provider who gave us our test was friendly and made us feel comfortable
Even as a walk-in, service was prompt and the dr as well as the nurses were all very kind and professional. Services were provided for exactly what I wanted without question
If you are looking for same day covid results, this place has the rapid results that get to you in 10 minutes. The nurse was wonderful with my brain probe!I only took off one star because the phone receptionist is RUDE. First, she wouldn’t book me over the phone, wouldn’t answer my questions directly about the covid testing, and seemed very unconcerned about my issues.I recommend if you need a covid test, book your spot online here and avoid the receptionist altogether. She has no customer service skills and empathy for others.
Easy to set up a save my spot, great front desk service, my concerns for my daughter were addressed and I was out the door! Also I was helped with a question after my visit thru the Novant app.
Novant Urgent Care almost single-handedly ruined my honeymoon. My wife and I scheduled to go to Hawaii on August 11th and went to receive COVID rapid tests from Novant Urgent Care - Mountain Island. Hawaii contracts with certain providers and Novant is the only one who offers rapid testing. We had been together every day for several weeks prior to the wedding. The rapid test I was given came back positive and my wifes returned as negative. I had no symptoms. I was skeptical of the test result. The PA ensured me that the test results were accurate and I had to return home to quarantine. I traveled to Novant Urgent Care - Huntersville where they refused to retest me, even though I explained that I had thousands of dollars hinging on the result, so I wanted to be absolutely sure. They refused.I traveled to Walgreens and CVS and completed PCR testing (non-rapid) with both companies. Both tests returned with negative results for COVID-19. Over a week later, still no symptoms, no COVID. Thankfully, my honeymoon was only delayed by a day thanks to extremely diligent planning and rescheduling by my wife.Overall, Novant Urgent Care provides rapid testing and accepts insurance, so that is the good. They do offer a service. Unfortunately, that service is of poor quality because they dont allow retesting because, as I was told, the rapid test results are extremely accurate, even though that is clearly false. Retesting is not allowed even when you provide evidence of doubt and request a retest.Do yourself a favor and if youre questioning the results, go get a PCR done to verify before burning through sick time at work or flushing vacation money down the drain. The staff was professional and polite and I have no complaint about that other than their refusal to verify the results.
The whole team was so kind and efficient. They listened to me and made me feel welcome and like they really wanted to help me.
I have been here 3 times and the first two were great this time the staff was terrible they refuse to check you for anything else other than Covid!!! I’m telling them I know I don’t have Covid but I have had a terrible cough for over 10 days and need to be treated the medical staff just shunned me away! I am so disappointed I’m so upset because I wrote them a great review my very first time going and can’t even delete it! So now I have negative Covid test results but no treatment for my cough!!!
Arrived before they opened to get a covid test and was waiting at the door when they opened. The website wouldn’t let me make an appointment and said they only do walkins. When I arrived a nurse came out to tell me and about 6 other people (all there for covid tests) that we needed an appointment and we wouldn’t be able to be seen until the next day. She said they were already booked that day but everyone there in the parking all just wanted covid tests so not sure why they couldn’t at least try to swab some of us before the scheduled appointments came in.
If you are in need of urgent care please do not visit this location, it’s quite a disappointment. My husband cut his finger and was in need of stitches. This urgent care was the closes to our home and when we arrived they told us that he could not be seen as he did not have an appointment. An appointment for an urgent care center, what???? A cut bloody finger, dizziness and lightheadedness clearly is not considered urgent enough. Instead they recommended that we drive another 20 minutes to “another” location...while still having a bleeding finger and lightheadedness. What is considered urgent because urgency can’t be scheduled as an appointment. Save yourself some time and frustration and visit Atrium Health Urgent Care across the street, no appointment is needed!!!
I booked an appointment to get a COVID antibody test. I was experiencing a mild cough. I was told to call the office and I did. I was explaining why there was a need for it and that my cough is mostly seasonal. The person on the phone said it was fine and I should still come to my appointment. I came to my appointment and called the number noted on the sign telling them I was here. After getting to the office and was told that i could not get a test because of my mild cough. The reason for the 1 star was not because the fact that I couldn’t get a COVID test because of my cough. But it was the fact that I called back to double check to see if it’s okay to come to my appointment, and was told to come on the phone and to be only be rejected at the door. They should have rejected me on the phone and cancelled my appointment. I drove out my way to get this test but to find myself my wasting time sitting in the parking being rejected.
Nice place, friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, professional, caring, loving, friendly Novant team members. Thank you for taking excellent care of me on 10/19/2023.
Sharone, at check-in, was terribly rude. There was no compassion for the fact no patients want to be at urgent care sick. We don’t come there to get on her nerves, we come there to get care.
This particular center is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful
While I understand that this is the time of pandemic, the lady on the front desk should not be too rude on would-be walk in patients. Yes you might be inundated with patients, but being very rude and condescending is not good. Atrium across the street might be better.
Was able to get in and out quickly and the doctor was able to help me. Great experience. Everyone was so nice. Like the new location too.
Long story short, I got a Covid test, was advised to isolate for 10 days because even though it was negative, I was still showing symptoms. The lady failed to give me a doctors note for my job. I called 3 different times because they refused to give me one. I called in the morning and here it is almost 10 at night and still nothing. The lady at the front desk is beyond unprofessional. You can’t work a front desk job and have an attitude, but then again I guess you can.
My husband visited this urgent care to have a Covid test done and to have his symptoms assessed by a provider. His rapid Covid test was done and came back negative. Upon asking the NP if she would be assessing him for a possible bacterial source of infection (due to the nature of his symptoms) the NP said it was “too early” to be assessed and didn’t give him the time of day. If all we wanted was a Covid test, we would have gone to a pharmacy. My husband needed to be seen by a provider. Later that day, my husband went to an Atrium urgent care were he ended up being assessed and prescribed antibiotics for a sinus infection. My husband and I are very disappointed with the way this Novant urgent care ignored his symptoms and health needs.
I was misdiagnosed. Had to pay for 4 different medications that didn’t even treat my illness. Been dealing with them since Thursday, got a prescription that reacted bad had me throwing up all day, prolonging my treatment. Asked to speak with someone higher up, they gave me attitudes, Ms Linda hung up on me mid sentence. I am going to sue if someone doesn’t correct these wrong. I still don’t have the correct medication, nor am I paying for it. I need the medication paid for as well as an apology.
Shevinee is the best! She always makes you feel welcome.
I made an appointment online and was seen on time. Triage was quick and the PA had a beautiful bedside manner.
We had a group of 13 scuba divers who had their flight to Providenciales canceled by American Airlines. Because of this, our Covid test window would expire before we arrived at our destination.Even though this is a Saturday, the crew at this clinic worked us all in and got us re-tested with valid paperwork so we could continue our vacation in paradise.
Went in for Covid congestion so badly I could not breathe. Linda Royston prescribed 2 meds that have really helped.
I loved the care and personal attention I received during a time when I needed it most. Simply the BEST Healthcare visit that Ive ever experienced! Thank you to the staff at GoHealth!
I was able to get an appointment, diagnosis, and solution quickly with compassion. I literally made my appointment when I woke up feeling sick at 4:30AM, and was seen by 9 that morning.
These ladies were so wonderful with working in my 11 year old daughter during a challenging Covid time. She had a spider bite that was infected and they were able to fit her in and get her the necessary meds that evening. I’m so grateful!
Waited over an hour. 3 people sitting around doing nothing. (Shift change - why should I care?). App did not work. Too damn lazy to even take info. Never again!
Professional service, very friendly, and the facility is very clean, it makes you want to return again, and I highly recommend it to all people who need urgent medical attention, it is a good place there.
I have yet to have a good experience with this location, whether it be over the phone or in person. Seems like they are standing at the door ready to swat you away rather than invite you in to help you. They are also not on the same page with the information provided on their website, so Id highly recommend attempting to call first. Hopefully the customer service and and hospitality gets better because
I went to this Novant Urgent care in hopes of being seen here (not COVID related) so that my records could be in one place, on MyChart. Was told that I needed an appointment and next available was tomorrow..... tomorrow would mean its not an urgent matter. Nothing against this particular location, but disappointed in general with Novant that I cant be seen by my preferred medical facility for an urgent matter. Went across the street to the Atrium urgent care and was seen within 15 mins. Im now being sent to the ER, this was urgent!
Very unprofessional. They told me they didnt have time to sign a return to school slip for my son causing him to miss 2 days. I did receive the return to school slip after filing four formal complaints. I guess when the big boss comes down on them they find the time to sign a piece of paper.
Same as a lot of reviews on this site the front desk lady was rude also they never sent urine test off to be tested.
The nurse testing us was amazing, she made an extra call to us making sure we were ok and understood every reviewed! She was above an beyond and it was appreciated!
Went in for a covid test, they said my results came back positive, but upon getting a pcr test next next morning at my general practitioners office my results came back negative. Not sure if they are cross contaminating, but I wouldn’t get a covid test here.
Young lady that spoke with me and tested me was very nice. She was friendly and informative. She made my visit easy and comfortable. I would like to thank her.
I just got a call from a representative at this location. The experience was more then unsatisfactory. I was told that my family cannot come in to a pre schedule 4 blocked out time slot appointment for a face to face visit. An addition, every time I tried to speak the other person on the other line would not let me get one word in so disrespectful. The staff member was very rude and did not have time for us.
So I when there on 5/12 for straped thorough they said 135$ so I payed it two weeks later I got charged 148$ for final bill... pay cash or dont use them
Veterans are not allowed to get COVID TESTING HERE. The uninsured have to pay $135 for a COVID TEST. This is a serious concern as were in a pandemic and cost shouldnt be a factor. I plan to contact my congressman to inform them.
Pleasant experience, was taken back at my appt time. All staff was thorough and very nice and I felt well taken care of.
Scheduling an appointment online nice option. Staff was very friendly and seemed concerned about my medical issue. Would recommend!
The NP Linda Royston was extremely rude and very unprofessional kept making comment after rude comment when I had come in very Ill with pneumonia I will never use this place again!
Walked in facility and was immediately turned away. Oh we dont have xrays . Simply because its 417 and its close to closing time. Dont bother driving here
Linda the NP that I saw was amazing! I appreciate her taking the time to listen to my problem, and she gave me great advice on how to strengthen my body going forward.
I received excellent care.
This location just denied me service because I was a walk in and didn’t have an appointment. The place closes at 8pm I’m here now at 6:40. This is ridiculous‼️
I walk in not knowing the location is about to close in a few minutes. But the nurse was so nice and check me in and attend to my needs before closing for the day
Registration and check in was very timely and the provider was excellent in explaining everything to me and what to do in case my symptoms worsen.
Appointment at 12 & it’s 12:45 I’m still waiting. There’s nothing urgent about this care. Go somewhere else that’s faster if you can because you’ll be here all day.
Made my son and I feel very safe and comfortable
The staff on Saturday was great very helpful and knowledgeable of the service they provided i would definitely recommend them to my family keep up the good work I was in and out with my children
Yall are really good at your job and I like to see that and that is good and yall really helpful friendly kind and I like that thank you all for what yall do bye 👋💯💯
Very pleased with quick & detailed service from this facility. NP Shontay Butler was very friendly & seemed concerned about my well being. Can’t Thank you enough for your hard work & dedication,
Clean, efficient, professional and compassionate. I was treated like a human being and not a number!
The wait was about 40 minutes but Lisa B saw me and was so so kind. It was such a good experience.
Friendly, efficient, good care, PA said she would be taking care of me - no better words for someone feeling sick!
Had a awesome experience very fast and very professional even had a conversation with the girl who did my testing she made me feel very comfortable!!!
Really good experience. The staff was great. They knew I was not feeling well, and treated me with respect to that.

Very fast and i love their doctors. They are very proactive, calm and composed.
Great experience during visit!!!! Great customer service!!!!
All staff was nice and professional. Staff were super nice and comforting to my 2.5 year old son, which was the best of all
Lady at the front desk was an absolute nightmare. screaming and yelling at patients. why make a stressful situation for a patient even worse???
The staff was very nice even though we were new to this area and insurance was from Flor
