Visited several months ago. I am now being billed for over 200 dollars for a basic visit. I had insurance and I was under the impression it would be covered, just as any other time I have gone to an urgent care. The bill has different charges of Other Patient Responsibilities. No explanation or details. I was texted from a number saying I owe money and a link was provided to where I can pay. I am quite wary of giving this link/site my information.Facility itself was nice, clean and the service was quick but this billing process is quite sketch. The ailments that I came to be treated for were minor and I was given medicine which did not help, so I went elsewhere.
I went to PACS because I was experiencing several cold/flu/covid symptoms for going on 5 days. It wasn’t crowded, only two people there, but I had to wait an hour to seen. When the doctor finally came in, she basically just told me to wait to see if it goes away, these things last 7-10 days and she would prescribe an antibiotic in case it doesn’t go away. And to take nasal spray for my congestion. No covid test nor flu test was performed. It felt like she was just rushing me out of there and did the bare minimum so they can get paid that day. If I wanted to see if it would just go away I would’ve stayed home. Waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend.
I visited Pacs Urgent Care because it stays open until 8 pm, unlike other urgent cares around me that close at 6. After reading positive reviews, I was motivated to check it out, and I was impressed. They have digital X-ray, an on-site lab, a fully staffed team of doctors and nurses. My medications were filled promptly, and I was in and out in less than an hour.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at PACS Urgent Care. During my recent visit, I encountered several issues that I believe should be addressed to improve the quality of patient care.Firstly, the front desk staff did not inform me that my insurance is out of network. They have responsibility to educate patients about insurance coverage and advise them accordingly. Had I been informed, I would have chosen to visit a nearby in-network urgent care facility.I visited your urgent care center seeking immediate assistance because I do not have a primary doctor. Instead of receiving the help I needed, I was told to go to a primary doctor. For this unhelpful instruction without any service,I was charged $30 as a copay and $35 as coinsurance on the day of my visit.Later, I received a bill for an additional $65 to cover my deductible.I expect the front desk staff to explain all these costs after checking my insurance card, providing a clear understanding of my financial obligations upfront. The lack of information and transparency regarding my insurance coverage and the costs associated with my visit have left me frustrated and disappointed.I hope that steps will be taken to ensure that future patients are better informed and receive the care they seek without unnecessary financial surprises.
Currently visiting VA and needed medical attention quickly. Service here was quick, easy, thorough, and helpful. Specifically, nurse Tisha, was AMAZING! She was supportive, kind, and patient with me in answering all my questions...and calming my nerves as well with experiencing medical concerns. She followed up quickly and provided next steps clearly so I could understand. Highly recommend this location for medical needs. Thanks Nurse Tisha!!
I recently visited PACS Urgent Care in Alexandria due to an infection while my regular doctor was out of town, and my experience was a mixed bag. During my first visit, the staff was incredibly kind and efficient. They saw me quickly and were understanding about my situation, especially since I have several adult onset allergies that my medical team is still trying to figure out. They reassured me that if I was still having issues in a few days, I should come back.A few days later, needing further assistance, I returned to PACS Urgent Care. Unfortunately, this visit was markedly different. The doctor who attended to me seemed annoyed from the start. Understanding my complex medical history and the unpredictability of my responses to medications, I suggested that if he didnt feel comfortable treating me, I could go elsewhere. He assured me that he would treat me, but then contradicted himself by claiming I was allergic to certain antibiotics I had taken before without issue. When I corrected him, explaining that I had never said I was allergic to those medications, he became irritated. What happened next was both unprofessional and humiliating. The doctor had me follow him out of the examination room into the clinic area while I was wearing a paper gown that was open at the back (luckily, I had pants on). He led me to his office to show me his computer screen where my record inaccurately stated that I was allergic to everything and penicillin. Rather than clarifying this clerical error with me in a respectful manner, he chose to argue and parade me through the clinic half-naked to prove his point, essentially trying to humiliate me.This interaction was one of the most outrageous and unprofessional experiences Ive ever had with a medical professional. It left me speechless and deeply disappointed in the lack of respect and care I received. The initial kindness of the staff and the efficiency of my first visit were overshadowed by this degrading and inappropriate treatment. I hope PACS Urgent Care takes steps to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.
I am very satisfied with my service at this urgent care today. I was seen within five minutes of completing the paperwork, the co-pay was affordable – $20 for me for an urgent care walk-in visit. This staff was professional, answered questions, and were very efficient in their work. Will definitely come again for urgent care needs.
I recently visited PAC Urgent Care for my elderly mother and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, prioritizing multiple personal phone calls over attending to us. We waited for an unreasonably long time before being processed, only to face further frustration when they couldnt process our insurance correctly. The receptionist kept asking for another primary insurance card that we did not have. She was adamant that we have another card in addition to two existing insurance we presented. she then requested for money up front before being seen by the doctor. This lack of efficiency and courtesy is unacceptable for an urgent care facility. I decided to leave and find another urgent care where they were able to check us in and process our insurance within 5 minutes. I would not recommend PAC Urgent Care to anyone looking for prompt, and respectful medical attention.
I went into urgent care for some pain in my wrist I had been feeling for a few weeks and I experienced great, auntie-like bedside manner and care from the the assistant, Tisha, I believe her name is. She was very personable and kind and walked me through everything I was to expect when the doctor came in. The doctor listened patiently and made for a quick and easy process. The thing that took the longest was completing online docs. I will certainly return the next time I need urgent care.
Seen for a persistent nosebleed. Used the online appointment tool. Checked in online & was seen by a capable Tech within a few minutes, and then by a very thorough doc (PA?). She was empathetic and knew her stuff. I was referred to an ER for further treatment. Easy free parking below the Silver Diner.
The worst experience ever . The front desk lady is horrible I guess she is not happy with what she is doing. I’ve been here many times and I never had any issues all the staff is friendly and respectful and willing to help . This time is totally the opposite . I just wish that since they are dealing with patients they should pick there people with more attention and care . Definitely I will not recommend this place to anybody.
I been there because I burned my fingers, they made me waiting for almost 2 hours and did not even know how to treat my fingers.I’m sure they don’t have any professional Dr for that kind of burning, just wasted my time and charge me for doing nothing.only advice me to use antibiotics cream haha
I called first to make an appointment and was told it was walk-in/first come first serve only. I got there and nobody was in the waiting room. 15 minutes later a young man and his gf walked in. They called him back before me. I was extremely ill and could barely keep my head up so I didnt ask why or have the energy to inquire. I was called back and when the doctor entered the room he had a Palestinian flag pin on his coat. Not only did I understand at that point why as a woman I was taken back second even though I got there first but I felt incredibly uncomfortable with the political statement this so called health care worker was making in a place that should feel safe for everyone. I understand in certain cultures women come second but they have a clear policy and it was extremely unprofessional not to follow it in this way. I immediately felt unsafe when I saw the pin. A health care facility is not the place to make a political statement about a current war. The young man had his results and was checked out at least 20 minutes before I was. So much for policy unless youre a man. Shame on this facility. I will never be back.
Horrible experience with registration. It needed too much time, about I hour for a patient who needs urgent care!!!! Also, there is no reason why the data I entered on-line system should be manually entered in their system to see a doctor when they already have the physical copy of my ID and insurance card. The doctor was not great, either. He told me that I just do not need to pay any special attention to my cut finger nail, as it does not look bad, even though I told him that touching the finger causes pain. When I told him that I think I need some protection such as splinter, he said that he would ask the nurse to provide one with me. In addition, while he told me that getting the injured part wet is OK, I clearly noticed that it delays the healing process, so I dont take his advice, trying to avoid my injured finger nail getting wet.
Somewhat clean office, very quiet on a Saturday night. However, I arrived at 650, closes at 8, and I needed an xray. The xray tech left as I was waiting in the waiting room for my appointment after I had already paid. I had to hobble my way back to my car and go to a different urgent care. Do not go there before youve called to confirm theres a tech who can do an xray if you need one.
I was extremely impressed with the entire medical staff including the front desk staffThe nurse was outstanding and the Doctor was a superb in every measureService was timely and efficient. The paperwork was minimalThis is an example of Superior Urgent Care!!!!
Sarah is seriously the best!! I love her she’s very patient, kind and I literally look forward to her and trust her with my kids when they’re sick or me. She’s amazing!! Also Elizabeth and Ticha are the best!
Wow, this was the most pleasant urgent care I have ever been to. Polite and cheery staff, wry helpful nurse practitioner Sarah. Clean and well run.
Great team! Was seen quickly and the entire team was polite from the admin person at the front to the doctor. Also felt included in the healthcare decisions. Highly recommend!
Stress free experience, everyone was so nice and helpful, from the lady that checked me in, to Tisha, to Sarah, to the lab tech. I had never experienced such an injury and they made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions.
Urgent care? They open at 8 AM and I was there before their whole team. They didn’t come in till 8:30 AM.On top of that, I paid $139 for a 5-10 min visit with the doctor. It was also clear the doctor didn’t know my case after I spent 10 minutes with the nurse, who took my vitals and asked me what was going on.They sent my order to Harris Teeter and their customer service was so much better than PACS Urgent Care. Their med specialist, without me having to ask, applied a discount which brought the total down 80%.Thank you Harris Teeter but PACS Urgent Care was abysmal.
The price of convenience.Friendly staff and professional staff that gets 5/5 stars. They made sure my blood pressure cuff was sanitized before taking my vitals. I assumed they cleaned it because that’s what they told me before not returning.Physician assistant was clear, concise, and thorough enough before diagnosing and treating my condition. My eye was swollen and I was prescribed antibiotic eye drops. No other diagnostic approach was done other than an assessment.Surprise bill shows up in mail a month later, despite my coverage with united healthcare.115$ out of pocket on top of the 500$ Premium already pay a month.Price of urgent care I suppose…
The entire staff were kind, friendly and made my 8 year feel safe and cared for! I highly recommend this practice!
Did not have to wait long to be seen and facility is clean, parking available in garage close by. Front desk staff very rude, refuse to leave messages for provider or states they will and then do not. Billing department also does not return calls. Would not recommend to others and will not be going back.
I was recently seen 2/2024 and the services and staff were very professional, pleasant, good bedside manner and Dr. S. T. for her protections was amazing as well as the MAs. The facility is new and very clean. I hope the environment and all the staff remains as time goes on. Highly recommend and they are closed on Sundays and must deserving time off.Only down fall for me was... I neglected to get a medical letter for work, since I was not aware of how my was felt 24 hours after my diagnosis. Please if you need a letter/note for work...*Get all you need including medical letter when youre seen to avoid any issues going forward as the doctor who examined you may not be there if you need a med letter going forward. They only give 3 days and you must return to more $$ and not to mention if you not feeling well to return for an extension. With all illness/sickness the medical broad symptoms is NOT a catch all. All are uniquely made therefore symptoms and how long it will take for one to get back to normal VARIES.*If I could give 10 stars PACS would receive it from my first time visit to the facility.**********
I took my daughter for sick visit for the first time and I was really impressed. I didn’t have to wait for too long and the staff was great! The Lady at the front desk was very kind, the medical assistant Eduardo who took us in was also very kind & understanding. I will be coming back here in the future. Great services! Thank you!
I liked the fact that I could ‘get in line’ online and receive text messages as to when to come in. The facility was bright and clean and the staff was welcoming and cheerful. That’s important when you’re not feeling well. I was in and out within an hour or so. The doctor was kind and empathic about my pain. I was given medication and told they would follow up within a few days when my lab culture came back and adjust treatment if needed. A positive first-time experience!
Please read why Im giving this 4 stars and not 5. Its deserving of 5 but Im just petty. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because of the wait time. That is it. Other than that the people at the desk are direct and helpful, the doctors I have been there twice have been nothing but kind and inquisitive.I came there for two completely unknown reasons and they helped figured out what was wrong with me when my primary care doctor didnt do jack.Im only writing this review now cause the most recent reason I went there was to drain a (REDACTED) and provided a quick on site process. So now Im in bed just recovering. So far in regards to physical treatments 5 out of 5 stars really.Have not went for something internal yet . Will keep updated
Best urgent care Ive ever been to. First off, the melanin magic is great to see. Second, the waiting room is very warm, open and welcoming. The staff is super helpful. Not only do they have free wifi, but they have multi plug chargers in the treatment rooms for phones. Its the little things that count. Dr and Nursing staff were kind and caring. I will def be back next time I need care.
Great group of people! Very kind, patient and listens. This will be my go to place from now on.
I received excellent service from this location yesterday and Im extremely grateful to every single member of the staff, whom I encounter! I arrived around 5pm on Saturday evening with very blurry vision and a highly irritated eye. The pain was very uncomfortable! The front desk staff was kind enough to help me with my intake paperwork, since I could barely see. Although there was a lobby full of people when I arrived, the medical team worked effective and efficiently with a sense of urgency to get us all taken care of in a very timely manner, relative to other emergency room experiences Ive encountered. It took about an hour but once they called me to the back, a doctor was with me in about ten minutes. She ran a few tests and diagnosed me with an eye infection. Soon after, I picked up my prescription which provided almost immediate relief to the pain I was having! Thank you to the entire staff! I appreciate your hard work and happy to have your professionalism and expertise in my neighborhood! ❤️
Very professional and nice people. I was passed quickly and handled properly. No long wait times and not a lot of people.
Terrible!!! Tricare covers urgent care visits minus the copay ($37). This has been the case with EVERY urgent care I have ever visited. Not at PACS, they charged me $189.44! When I called PACS they said it was because Tricare said I needed prior authorization. Mind you this has never been the case with my other urgent care visits. But when I spoke with Tricare they said its because of the way PACS billed my visit. I brought this to the attention of their billing office but they would not recode it. I was told they would continue to research my claim and for me to seek reimbursement from Tricare. DO NOT GO! There are too many other urgent care facilities in NoVa that do not have deceptive billing practices or ripoff military members.
I love this urgent care! It’s clean, comfortable, wait time was minimal, staff was pleasant, the waiting room charming, and above all, there were no millions of forms to fill. Will visit again when needed!
I had a great experience! The wait wasnt long, x-rays were quick and I got exactly what I needed! Being away from home and getting sick sucks. But, if it should happen again, this is the place to go! Thank you again Dr. Sayeed for being so kind to someone far from home!
Bad ear pain around 9:30am. Found this place through insurance. Went to website. They have online registration which is nice so didn’t have to start fresh at the office. Picked earliest visit available, 10:31am. Arrived at 10:28am. Couple of pages to sign. 10:40 am taken to patient room. Vitals checked. Doctor Shamma saw me at 10:45. Good, nice, Doctor. Diagnosed infection. Prescription sent to my pharmacy. 10:50 done! Staff was nice too! All in all, an excellent, efficient experience.
Terrible service. My Primary Care Physician sent me to urgent care for an IV due to my dehydration side effects due to Covid. They don’t have anything. No Covid tests, no blood tests, no treatment, no care, they just wanted to throw paxlovid at me without addressing my symptoms. Also, my insurance does not require a copay but they charged me a $120 deposit. I received nooooo services for $120. Nothing.
Need to quick check for a possible tick bite. Did most of the paperwork online, selected a time, showed up and was promptly seen and examined. Super friendly staff, the doctor took the time to talk over my concerns. Highly recommended.
Its urgent care, therefore there must be some sort of urgency thats why the patient has come. They took 1.5 hrs to see my 4 year old child who got hurt on his head was crying, I was worried saw good reviews thats why I came. But I think they are short on doctors or are very casual. I was casually told I have 7 patients ahead of me and I have to wait no matter what has happened. I asked for an ice pack, that too they didnt have. Sad situation.
Tisha Wilson was excellent in her concern and care. She happened to ve there in a day off, but got straight to the task when needed.
Military and service members DO NOT come here I am filing a complaint with the Virginia department of health professions I have Tricare prime because my wife is active duty military I came here because I couldn’t see my primary care provider soon enough and they are trying to bill me. After calling my insurance to confirm I do not owe them any money they are still refusing to do anything about it. Someone was supposed to follow up with me today and I never received that phone call. The woman at the front desk seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. She said I had too many numbers written down for my social (there were 9 numbers written down the standard.) She originally told me I had a co pay I said that’s not correct and she said she’d double check I ended up paying nothing but they sent me a bill anyway with a completely different amount. The worst urgent care I’ve ever been to will not ever go back but I will continue to call until someone fixes this and I will be reporting them this is illegal.
What a great experience! Clean, quick and kind! Nursing staff was efficient and doctor was wonderful! Highly recommended!!
This place works unless you are unfortunate enough to need care when Sarah Tesfamariam PA is on duty. I was unfortunate enough to experience her arrogance when I had an adverse reaction to the mediation I was prescribed by another Dr at the facility. I was very sick between the illness and vomiting from the medication. This young lady has all the arrogance of youth with no beside manner. Hopefully time and experience will ease her attitude, but it was not present when I visited. The prior day there was better and is the only reason why I gave it two stars, the staff was kind.
Just had to take my 3 years old daughter there yesterday and it was the best experience we ever had in any urgent care! The staff is professional, the place is clean and best of all we were in and out in about 30 - 45 minutes including having X rays done, results discussed and prescription sent to the pharmacy.I highly recommend!
If I could give 10 stars I would! This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at the doctors office. From the calm music in the wait room, to the courteous receptionist, along with the soothing nurse and the icing on the cake was Dr. Sarah T.I came in for a small laceration that I thought might require sutures. However, I’m extremely reluctant of the use of needles. No worries PACS to the rescue. I called ahead and spoke to the nicest receptionist that told me that they had a physician that could perform the procedure. When I got there, the nurse who was the happiest and sweetest nurse, cleaned my wound and then told me to wait for Dr. Sarah. When Dr. Sarah came in she immediately diagnosed me and told me that I wouldn’t even need the sutures and patched me up and sent me on my way to CVS with a prescription, all within 45 min. I thought I would be in the ER for hours. I’m so grateful for their team who treated me like family and with great care. Don’t hesitate to use this facility!!!!
I never knew urgent care could be this great of a process. Staff were so friendly and lovely and the office was so clean and cute. If I ever need another urgent care visit, I’m definitely going back
Visited this facility on Friday morning because my throat was hurting. I paid out of pocket to be seen and evaluated ($129 + $45), was diagnosed, and sent with a prescription. After taking the prescription as directed, 48 hours later no improvement and I noticed a small rash on my neck. I called the facility to express my concerns and was told to come back. I get there only to be told I will be charged another $129 to be evaluated again… huh? Why? The young lady at the desk mentioned it was their policy to be charged per visit. I told them I was just here and the medication prescribed is not working. After the young lady stepped away to make a few phone calls I get called to the back. The medical assistant came in to take my vitals and after that was completed, the same young lady came in and told me “as previously stated we will have to charge you again for this visit, but if you’re ok with it we will only charge you half.” WHAT!!??? Why am I being charged at all? This place is a scam and I will NEVER visit this facility again nor recommend them to any associates. I’m quoting a statement mentioned by the owner, “those we serve receive a level of care that exceeds expectations”, well you have failed tremendously in my book.
We were greeted by a very nice staff member, Fadila, she treated us with respect and helped us with the documents and paperwork. She is a very kind person and a person of quality. The doctor that treated us was very knowledgeable and diagnosed us quickly and sent the prescription directly to our pharmacy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We truly appreciate the service you extended to us. Thank you so much.Ghazi
We went on a Sunday evening with our 3.5yr old and we’re happy to receive quickest service especially with a small child and other family members waiting. Thanks to the nicest doctors and the clean quiet and wonderful place. Medication was prescribed promptly and picked up from a nearby pharmacy and everything went smoothly. Thanks. Keep up the great work.
Dr Shamma took care of me, he’s wonderful! Very kind and friendly! He played with my son!! Such a personable doctor! And the female nurse her name started with “F” she was amazingly helpful and nice! Treated me very respectfully and kind. 1️⃣0️⃣ ⭐️🤩👍🏻
I broke my wrist while visiting Alexandria from out of town. Came to this urgent care since it was closest. Extremely happy with the service. Very attentive, friendly. compassionate and thorough!! Would definitely recommend!!
Very bad service here i went there for un urgent care for my son and one freaking lady (light skin on duty )prescribe him a medication and they never send the right quantity to cvs pharmacy when i went to the pharmacy they say it’s on hold because of her mistake !!!! And i have called them again to fix it and they never did today when i arrived again to cvs pharmacy they said it is still on hold !!!I’m so disappointed about this the only reason that let’s me not to come after 8 days is the son thanks god got recovered from fever otherwise will be an emergency situation !!
Staff was all very nice and very prompt, I will definitely go back whenever needed
I almost want to keep this place a secret! This urgent care is a welcomed and wonderful addition to our community. I love the location, staff is amazing and I genuinely feel like they care about us. While I do not look forward to visits here, Im glad they are here for when my family and I need them. Keep doing what you all are doing and thank you!
I’ve never written a review before for anything. But I had an excellent experience. No wait. Kind staff. I have a phobia of doctors and needles and requested a second nurse to hold my hand for the blood draw and they made me feel so comfortable, kept me laughing and made me feel normal for being scared. They are amazing!!!! Want to go to them every time. :)
We needed a rapid test and stop by without an appointment hoping that they would be able to help us. They readily took us in and were very nice and accommodating. Everybody was friendly and efficient. The doctor came to gave the results and he was also very professional. We were very pleased with the experience, in fact, the following day a friend needed a test, we didn’t hesitate to recommend them to our friend.
I had a wonderful first experience at PACS urgent care and would not hesitate to go back again! The front desk staff was personable and professional. The waiting area was clean. I was taken care of promptly—one hour from check-in to picking up a prescription at my pharmacy-wow!The MD was also professional and personable. Very clear in his diagnosis and care instructions.I was very happy to find a great urgent care experience so close to my neighborhood. I had originally tried to check in at one that I knew not too far away and when I was told the wait alone would be 1-2 hours to even get called back to the treatment area, I followed the advice and tried PACS. So glad I did!
Omg! I really enjoy my visit to this urgent care. Everyone is extremely nice respectful and knowledge. They took their time to exanimate, talk, and explain to me as their patience. I’d love to find doctors like this as my primary care and or more often.
I went in on a Sunday morning for an issue with my foot. Everyone on staff, including the registration desk, the medical assistant, the x-ray technician, and the doctor, was pleasant and efficient. I felt like I got good follow-up instructions and they double-checked the pharmacy for my prescription to make sure it went to the right place. I wouldnt hesitate to go to this urgent care clinic again if the need arises.
Great customer service clean and wonderful place great people good service definitely be back for any Urgent needs!!!!
I can’t say enough good things about Pacs Urgent Care. Everyone was attentive and polite. I was in-and-out just under an hour or so. I got X-rays done rather quickly after which Dr. Tesfamariam went over the results with me. She’s a very kind soul. Very fortunate to have quality care in the area.
I recently had to visit urgent care because I had a cyst that became infected. I couldn’t be seen by my primary care physician, so I decided to visit PACS Urgent Care. Upon arriving every person I interacted with was very compassionate and professional. From the front desk staff, to Laticia who assisted the physician, to the Dr. Elsayed. Everyone was so kind during the whole experience. My cyst needed to be drained and the physician who helped me kept making sure I was okay, and that the pain was tolerable, and asking if I needed a break from the procedure. I highly recommend visiting this location for any urgent care needs.
I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving. The office is clearly very new, its is clean and nicely set up. The staff was very nice, attentive, and professional. The NP that saw me was lovely. She explained everything she was doing, she was efficient, and made sure I was comfortable. I would choose to go back to this urgent care of I ever needed to do so in the future.
All members are so nice respectful and expert specially Dr Sara may God bless you all
I went to this urgent care because a pain that didn’t let me sleep, and it took an hour to see a doctor for examination. In addition, there was not a person for doing X rays, and I had to come the next day for another two hour wait. You must increase the number of personnel and doctors to provide an appropriate quality service. I have been in other walk-in clinics and never experienced something like this.
I came in on Thursday 11/2 with flu like symptoms, the doctor I saw that day said he wasn’t sure if it was the Flu or cold, but said I had some sort of virus and told me I could go home and take off-brand day/night quil. I came back on Saturday 11/4 because I had blood in my mucus (sorry for that mental image) and my fever went back up. This time I had a different doctor, her name was Sarah, she looked down my throat and immediately was like your tonsils are super swollen I’m going to give you some Motrin now and then prescribe you an antibiotic. I literally wanted to say to her “God bless you.” I’ve been taking these OTC meds but have just been stagnant and my body felt so heavy. Now, after I took the Motrin and antibiotic, my fever is down and it’s only been 5 hours since I left the urgent care. To make a long story short, Sarah was a life saver for me today. And I appreciate Ms. Tisha who was at the front desk today as well!
Front desk girl & nurse were very nice I felt comfortable. Didn’t wait that long, then when the doctor came in he asked what was wrong so I was telling him in the process he wouldn’t hold his stare to my eyes for direct eye contact he would look at my eyes for a second then would look down at my boobs… which I wasn’t even wearing anything revealing. I wish I remembered his name but I don’t.
This is by far the best urgent care facility Ive ever visited! I called in the morning and they were able to see me within less than an hour. Every staff member I interacted with was so nice and helpful. The doctor was very thorough and answered all of my questions. Also the facilities were super bright and clean. So grateful to have this place in my neighborhood!
This is our first stop when one of us is sick. They usually see us very quickly and the nurses are great about working with our toddler, including the inevitable nasal swabs, and we’ve seen the same doctor each time so she’s familiar with our kid’s health
Dr Shamma took wonderful care of my father last night when he injured his leg on a car door. The nurse was amazing too! Very kind, conscious, and professional. Will be back!
I went there 6 months ago. Their service was super helpful and referred me to the one of the best ENT doctor! Thanks.
The entire staff was phenomenal- from the ladies that greeted me at the front desk to each nurse and medical technician. Dr. Elsayed was outstanding and touched base with me one last time before I left to make sure I was clear on aftercare and next steps. Every person there went out of their way to be kind and comforting. It is a clean and new clinic, but it’s the people who make PACS Urgent Care #1.
This is by far the most efficient, and cleanest Urgent care Ive been to in the DMV. Literally in and out within 30mins and the staff and doctor were beyond friendly!
I called ahead to check on parking and wait time. Staff was beyond nice welcoming me to come for treatment, kids and all, and gave perfect parking directions. After we arrive there was no wait, they changed the TV for my kids, and everyone working was kind. When brought back doctor and staff were educated and attentive listeners to my condition and learning about me as a new patient. My treatment was well explained to me and I knew they cared about my well being. So glad I ran into this place by accident. I will continue to use them for my family’s care. Would recommend!
I brought my mother in law into be seen for extreme shortness of breath... Her condition happened to be far worse than she originally had thought.. Thanks to the nurses at pacs, they acted with a sense of urgency after checking her oxygen levels. After reviewing her oxygen levels, they saw that she was nowhere near the level she should have been. They did not hesitate and immediately called the ambulance so that she could be transported to the actual hospital right away.I would like to thank them for the quick thinking and speedy action they took to get her the proper medical attention that she very much needed. I appreciate the whole staff working as a team and taking the proper initiative to make sure my mother in law receives proper care..
First time to this urgent care. It took less than 4 minutes to get checked in and shown back into a room. Staff was all very friendly and caring. Quick diagnosis and treatment plan and the doctor seemed to want to make sure my questions were all met. If you’re looking for a local urgent care I suggest this place. They also have digital X-rays which is nice versus having to be referred.
Very professional staff and Doctor . Clean office . One of the best clinic to go to .
Best experience I’ve had at an urgent care in my life
What a pleasant surprise! Every aspect of the visit was easy, professional, friendly. It started with no phone tree. Before going, I spoke to a very helpful woman on the phone who answered all my questions. When we arrived, we were promptly taken in. The nurse who did the intake work was great, the doctor showed up promptly and spent time to understand the issue and to ensure we understood the needed care. Ive never had such an positive experience at an Urgent Care.
The admin and nurses were lovely and I was able to be seen very quickly. However, the rest of my experience was deeply disappointing. I came in with an elevated heart rate and panic attacks. They told me they could not provide meds for panic attacks and just checked my heart rate and blood pressure. After speaking with my PCP, I learned that the urgent care was misleading. They do have the capability of prescribing meds and just chose not to. Additionally, they did not check my heart or order any tests such as an EKG. Im deeply saddened that they broke my trust when I was in a moment where I needed someone to help me. Sadly, it was another example of where I needed to self advocate because no one else did.
Absolutely terrible experience. I am pregnant and needed IV fluids due to food poisoning. I arrived at 645 pm. The doctor saw me shortly after 7 pm, and I was simply told to go to the ER, that there was nothing they could do for me since they close at 8 and that would not give them enough time to give me an IV. Since I was not treated and literally all he did was tell me to go to the ER, I asked for my copay to be refunded. After a few minutes, I was told that I could not be refunded because I was seen by the doctor and he recommended I go to the ER. If that is the case, staff should be better trained in fielding this type of visit prior to the start so that no ones time is wasted, particularly in a situation where time is precious and the patient is ill. They could have easily checked with the doctor prior to taking me back. I guess they dont care because they still made their very quick buck. I wont be returning here.
Best urgent care center I’ve been to! Walked in without an appointment and was promptly given all my paperwork and my medical samples were taken right away. The receptionists were very efficient, Shiva the medical assistant was very nice, and Dr. Arlene was great. She explained what I had clearly and answered all my questions patiently. Highly recommend!
Everybody was so friendly. Amazing customer service. I was in and out within a hour 15-20 mins. Fast service! And you can even set appointments. Btw loved the music in the exam room for vibes and added privacy.
After having an awful experience with another local urgent care clinic and wasting an entire morning, I feel like PACS really saved my day. Their operations were smooth, providers were helpful, and they treated me with kindness and respect. Theyre a bit far from where I live, but I will absolutely take the time to go here next time I have an urgent medical need.
PACS now charges an additional $80 towards your deductible in addition to your co-pay.I have never heard of this before. I can only assume that they are unhappy with the amount of money they are getting from the insurer and from their patient’s co-pays.
Staff was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable but the wait to see a doctor was almost an hour.
Best urgent care I’ve ever been to. Fast, efficient, and excellent bed side manner. Tamika was my nurse and she was very attentive and empathetic. Dr. E was pleasant and made sure I felt comfortable. I will definitely come here again if I have any urgent care needs.
I have been to this Urgent Care twice so far and I have to say, I am very pleased. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The doctor gets me in and out. Diagnosis have been spot on and even went on to help me further to prevent any future issues. Ive never had any issues with the place. Will be coming back and will recommend to anyone.
We were forgotten in one of their rooms.I came in with my 5 year old son for an ear check-up. The clinic was empty, but we waited 1 hour in a tiny room until we decided to leave. On our way out, I said I could not wait any longer, and the doctor assistants at the counter said 15 more minutes. We decided to leave anyways, and when we were leaving, the receptionist could not believe we hadnt been seen yet. So she asked us to wait and went to check what was going on. 2 minutes later, the doctor came to see us. He checked my son, had his assistant do a procedure, and he was supposed to come back in 2 mintues. After 10 minutes I decided to leave again. One of the assistants asked the other if she had told the doctor we were ready, and the other assistant said she hadnt. These were the worst assistants I have ever seen. They were on their phones the whole time, completely unaware of what was going on. The receptionist did what she could. I will never come back.
I cannot say enough good things about this office. I happened upon this place by accident and convenience and could not be more pleased. Very nice staff, John was great and Dr. Said was very knowledgeable, personable and really took the time to get my history and explain my illness. The whole visit took about an hour. Apart from the wonderful care and service, its a beautiful facility. Its brand new and has brought to life a new age of doctors offices with a waiting room that makes you feel like youre in a luxury hotel. I know this sounds too good to be true but I swear Im not being paid for this review - well, Im only being paid in kindness and medical care.Ten out of ten recommend. Would 100% return.
I appreciate the front desk staff, they were kind and very helpful. I appreciate the nurse for listening and being gentle. The doctor that I did see addressed my concerns with little concern and was quick to get me in and out.Overall experience was okay but in my opinion I would have waited longer at a place to take my concerns a little more serious.
Great customer service from all the staff including the front desk. I had a great experience. My visit was fast and efficient.
They made me wait for about an hour and 30 min to see me. First in the waiting room and then already inside patient room. I had already paid them so I HAD to wait, otherwise I would have left. The front desk ladies were extremely nice and one of them even apologized for the wait. The nurse? A blond gal with glasses was very rude and unwelcoming. I told her I had been waiting for a really long time and she said, “yeah, that’s how it is” then went on to ask me the questions she had to ask. Not a clinic I would like to go back to.
Easy online check-in process, friendly staff, and kind, thorough, and thoughtful doctors. After checking in online and driving to the clinic, I saw a doctor within 20 minutes of walking through the door. Highly recommend. BUT—>I initially gave this urgent care five stars after my first two visits. However, I have since received my bill. The billing department incorrectly billed my insurance. Despite calling multiple times and leaving at least 5 voicemails over the past 6 weeks, I have not heard back and have yet to receive a corrected bill. The service was great, but if this is typical of the billing department (and hopefully it isn’t), it’s not worth the headache.
I came here yesterday and had THE WORST experience!!!! The front desk staff and the medical assistant were nice but the doctor was an absolute disgrace. I saw Dr. Shamma. His bed side manner is horrid. I was having abdominal pain and b/c they can only do X-rays, he turned me away and told me to go to the ER without even doing an evaluation. He refused to provide me with an imaging order to take at a local radiology facility. I got upset b/c they had already taken my copay. I told him that I would call the insurance b/c I knew he would charge me for the visit anyway w/out being evaluated. He responded by saying that whatever I do, his day will be exactly the same. Then, he started talking about how he has 40 yrs experience being a doctor and lawsuits. Seriously, just b/c you are doctor doesnt mean that you are a good one! If you decide to go here, I would call ahead of time to ask who is the attending doctor at the time. At least they refunded my copay. I will not be coming bk here thougjh.
Great service, from the front desk to the doctor. they are fast and also take time to listen and try to find a solution. Very sweet and welcoming.
Great, quick urgent care with an easy, free parking garage nearby. Ive never had to wait long here, unlike many other urgent cares in the region. The doctors, nurses, and staff are all friendly. Due to most day cares centers wanting a COVID test when kids are showing any symptoms, we find ourselves in here often and have never had a bad experience with any of the doctors or nurses.
Waited an hour. I talked more than the doctor ( Dr Shamma) it was like pulling teeth and in the end he told me to go to a primary care doc. Seemed uninterested in helping. He also sported a Palestinian flag on a pen in his pocket - as a jew I felt extremely uncomfortable in the office with him during this time of war.
After being to many urgent care centers in the DMV area, I truly believe this is the best experience I’ve had at one yet. Maybe I just got lucky, but there was absolutely no wait, which seems unheard of during COVID times. The check in process was seamless and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Very clean facility. I highly recommend!
Staff is super polite and friendly. I was having a very bad sinus/cold for about a week and nothing worked (no covid). A very nice lady on the phone squeeze me in for an appointment right away even though they were busy through the afternoon thank you 😊. The nurse and the doctor were super friendly, professional and kind. I surely and highly recommend this place!! Thank you all.
I never write bad reviews but I highly do not recommend this place. You are just paying to be advised to go see your primary care. Mustafa compared treating my life to a bike, that is something you want to hear from a doctor who wont help you. Good luck to those who go there!
I can highly recommend this urgent care facility. The office staff, nurse and doctor were proficient, kind and understanding. I especially liked how the doctor listened and advised so comprehensively without making me feel that he had to be quick about it. I also noticed the care taken in the design and cleanliness of this PACS location.
This location refused to do a school physical because my child has an exemption so beware that this place just does not care about your religious or medical freedomsUpdate because they replied, it was apparently the manager at the location who denied us. We were all set to confirm our appt until they reminded me to bring his shot records and I explained “he has an exemption, it’s notarized and already on file with the school” I was asked to hold while they made sure that was ok (which it should be and is our legal right) when they got back on the phone and explained that their nurse practitioner wasn’t equipped to handle this and they don’t know what to do and could not do his school physical.I would love to know if my experience was based on the employees personal beliefs or I’d this particular company has policies against this and what the legality is of denying customers and patients based on their religious beliefs.
I went twice and both experiences were pleasant. The staff is professional and friendly. Both visits were fast and I was in and out within minutes, which I never experienced at any other urgent care. Highly recommend!
The staff was very sweet ; They ran very smoothly as well. The doctor was very patient he answered all my questions and explained my diagnosis very well. This office is definitely number 1 on my list.
The service was fast and good. The staff was very efficient. We are from Florida. We expected to maybe have some issues. Not one. We were very happy with the service. It too two of us less than an hour to get our rapid COVID tests. I highly recommend them.
Had a wonderful experience. The online registration was very helpful way to speed up the process. The staff is amazing, Axel and Sonya are gems! Dr. Shamma is very pleasant and efficient as well!
After waiting in the office for over an hour I popped my head out (for the first time and it was after closing so I was making sure they didn’t forget about me) and to see if they were going to see me and the doctor ran out of another room and yelled at me about how he wanted to go home too. So incredibly unprofessional and rude.Edit: the rest of the staff was very nice and they apologized for his behavior. If the doctor (Moustafa Shamma) treats his patients like that I feel sorry for the people who have to work with him on a regular basis.
Best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care center. The staff was very polite and we were seen right away. Office is very clean and the staff takes all of the necessary precautions for covid. Doctor was extremely attentive and explained everything in detail. Highly recommend.
This is one of the friendliest and cleanest urgent care I’ve been to. The front desk staff was lovely They immediately took me back and the doctor was in shortly after. Enjoyable experience overall. I highly recommend.
I dont know why this urgent care get 5 stars, it was certainly not my experience. I came here based on the reviews and need blood work done. Upon arrival, the fire alarm was going off and no one in the office seems to care, it took a while for them to call the fire department and they finally show off to turn the sounds off. But that not the worst part...I specially call ahead to ask if they can do blood work there and they confirmed yes. However, when the nurse saw me and took my vitals, she mentioned that the doctor on call today will do the minimal. She was SO right. When the doctor showed up (Dr. Moustafa Shamma), he did not do anything and referred me to the ER! For real??? I asked was there anything he can take a look, he surely refused. They charged me $485 for the whole appointment. When I called the billing department to ask them explain for the bill, they said it was the cost of seeing the doctor. For NOTHING... Luckily my insurance paid the most part and I only paid out of pocket $120. However, the cost of seeing a doctor who refused to exam me was still outrageous. I would not recommend anyone to go here.
Great experience. The front desk and support staff were amazing, and the doctors are really knowledgeable. They treated me quickly and efficiently while being extremely kind. Best urgent care experience I’ve ever had.
Saw their sign and went in to get a quick Covid test. They were excellent: courteous, quick and friendly. The Doc came in and saw me even though he didnt have to. Very pleasant visit. This is a brand new practice opened by emergency room docs who want to offer patients an alternative to crowded, unpleasant hospital emergency rooms. They also offer all kinds of lab tests, X-rays etc. So if you need care and want to avoid the hospital emergency room, by all means give this place a try!
Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Doctor was very kind, a good listener, and very helpful as well. Online check-in (used the link in this Google listing for appt) was a breeze. 10/10!!
First visit to the PAC Urgent Care. The staff was very friendly and immediately took me into a room. Within 10 minutes I was checked in and quickly saw the nurse and Dr Said. My prescriptions were sent right next door to the Harris Teeter. Door to door with prescriptions in hand in less than and hour. I highly recommend PACS for friendly and efficient services.
I walked in and they saw me right away. Friendly and helpful staff. I was seen by Felicia, a nurse practitioner and she was very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend this urgent care!
A really nice urgent care. The staff are GREAT! Nice, caring, real. The doctor was nice but we waited a long time for the result of our x-ray. Still much shorter wait in total than nearby urgent care and much better staff. Thanks!
Such a great experience! I was early for my appointment and they took me right away. The staff was supremely kind, both over the phone and in person. I’ve generally had poor experiences with the medical world, but PACS really made everything as painless as possible!
Thought I broke my toe and was pretty upset and in pain. I found PACS on google was was able to walk right in. Easy check in, friendly front desk, and I also loved they sanitize everything down to the pens after they are touched! That gave me a level of comfort in their cleanliness. I was seen within 15 minutes. Nurse Tameka was super friendly and attentive. Dr Said was kind, and didn’t make me feel rushed the way some places make you feel. They were through and sent me home with everything I needed to heal up! I will definitely be back, but hopefully not for a broken toe 😀
I have had positive experiences here with the physicians and nursing staff, but I have been wholly unimpressed and frustrated with the disorganization on the administrative/billing side. In July 2022, I went into the office and was told that they couldnt see me until I paid an outstanding bill I had never received from a visit a full year prior (July 2021). I asked them to please tell me what the bill was for (for over $100), and they told me they could not provide an itemized bill. The staff at the desk called the billing team, who proceeded to tell me that they had sent the bill multiple times. Turns out they had the wholly wrong address for me in the system (I live down the road, and they asked me if I had moved from SE DC.... where I have never lived.). I asked them to send me an itemized bill for me to review, I never received one. It is now November 2022, and I have received a bill that lists July 2021, September 2021, and October 2021 for over $600, and all that is listed is medical services. I dont know many people who go ahead and pay such expensive bills without knowing what theyre for, and its shocking to me that in July 2022, charges for September and October 2021 were not already listed in my file... given that they had the incorrect details entered in my file, I have no interest in paying a detail-less bill that I am not confident is even mine.I would not recommend visiting this urgent care unless receiving surprise bills for ambiguous medical services a year later is attractive to you.
The staff was courteous and were a great help to this out of town traveler.
PACS Urgent Care is amazing. This was my first experience with this place since it opened. The entire staff was gracious on a VERY busy day. They were professional on the phone and in person. I called a thousand times and each time I received the amas treatment. They were positive, smiling, and thorough. I recommend this place for care! Thank you PACS you came through on a very difficult day.
Staff was very patient, attentive, and thorough. The check-in process was very easy as well. They were willing to test everything I was concerned about which made me feel like they actually cared about my health and not just the copay.
I highly recommend PACS urgent care if you are in need of medical care. It was by far the best urgent care experience I’ve had! The space itself is bright, welcoming, and nicely decorated. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I was in on two separate occasions last weekend and saw both Dr. Elsayed and Dr Said. Both doctors were attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Porschia, the nurse, is a gem! She was both kind and efficient. I will definitely recommend to my friends and will not hesitate to return should the need arise. Welcome to the neighborhood!
What a wonderful experience! There was no wait, the staff was super caring and compassionate towards my sick son (and I), and Dr. Saleh had amazing bedside manner. I tend to want to bring the kids to pediatric ER’s but I gave this place a shot since it’s close by and after hearing good reviews. Turns out, the nurse who administered meds via syringe was the best execution I’ve seen. Will definitely be using this urgent care next time we need one.
They took too long and they never mention that they were having issues with my insurance card until I asked them. So I asked them what would a be if my insurance doesnt go through in their system. The time I spent with my kid waiting to be call they dont see that. They want to make sure the people/patient have the money before a doctor sees them.
We’ve been here 3 times in the past 10 days. Once for my husband, once for my son and once for me.We always had a pleasant experience. Everyone was professional and caring and we were in and out in no time.Definitely the best urgent care we’ve been to.
Update 24 Jan 24: They have adopted a new billing system which will require you to pay an extra 80 dollars if you havent met your deductible for the year. The problem is that for blue cross blue shield FEP, the deductible does not apply to urgent care visits. I have verified this with the insurance company. The fact they were not prepared to make exceptions for patients for which this new charge does not apply feels intentional and and a bit predatory. I would not recommend this place as the lack of forsight could be a sign of a decline in focusing on the patient and prioritizing the next best cash grab.
Super friendly and speedy care. Was taken straight into a room and had someone come in to get my information. The medical assistant came in shortly thereafter and then only had to wait a few short minutes for the doc. Was being seen for a sinus infection. This is a new practice. For being new, they seem to have their business in order and are ready to serve the community!
I am so blessed to live less than a mile from here. I can’t say enough about this urgent care. They are fast yet so detailed. Their staff is so professional and courteous. Customer service is a huge deal for me and they mastered it. Laticia Wilson was the most amazing CNA/MA I ever met. She saw that I was nervous and made sure to make me laugh the whole time. The doctor is also very nice and super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this urgent care.
Brought my best friend to PACS for dizziness, neck pressure and fatigue at 7:49 PM. She was visiting from out of state and has already been seen for the same issues - a steroid shot was given in her home state and helped for a day or two. The issues persisted and she was seen by PACS.They didn’t do a thing for her. Not even go over options of what it could be or possible solutions to help. No testing. Felt rushed. We think they were just trying to kick us out because they closed at 8 PM.“Make sure to see your primary care doctor when you return.”Yeah…no duh. Charged her $127 for literally nothing. Why even charge when you didn’t offer any help!
Clean office, friendly and professional staff. Check in process was efficient and the wait time to see a medical professional was short. Highly recommend this clinic.
Upon arrival everyone was nice and attentive. Doctor was understanding and listened to my concerns. The only complaint that I have is that I was seen 24 hours ago and have yet to get my prescribed medication. The pharmacy explained to me that the office needs to call them and give them the correct NPI number for the prescribing physician in order to fill the prescription. Ive called the office 3 times already and they still have not called the pharmacy. I understand that the office is short staffed and really busy, but how am I supposed to feel better without the prescribed antibiotics? Now the office is closed and Im left without medication for the entire weekend.
The wait wasn’t too long at 9:30AM on Friday. We were out in and out within an hour so it’s pretty good for urgent care. The facility is clean the staff and doctor were nice and knowledgeable.
I dropped in to get tested for Covid as I had some troublesome respiratory symptoms. Turned out that I had a severe respiratory infection. The proper medication was prescribed. Service was very prompt and the staff was very professional and kind. Shoutout to Dr Moustafa and his staff. They are the best!
Great COVID test experience 😍very gentle and caring. I was very nervous coming in the staff listened to all of my symptoms and assessed my needs. I definitely left going out with a smile on my face oh and yes my result were NEGATIVE 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 ❤️❤️❤️ I would recommend this awesome facility thank you such much great team.
I visited this urgent care for help with a bee sting this morning. Everyone I talked with was super helpful and nice. My waiting time was minimal. The professionalism was on point as well. Im excited to have found somewhere that I feel confident going for my medical needs, and I will be recommending them to friends and family
I was severely dehydrated and weak and came here for an IV. I called beforehand and got an appointment and filled out all the paperwork before getting there. They took a whole hour to “process me” (even though I got there at the time of my appointment) and then left me waiting for two more hours before telling me that they had run out of IV’s and could not administer me one. Completely unprofessional, unorganized and insensitive to the patients going there for an emergency. Do NOT recommend.
I have used this Urgent Care 3 times now and they are always so kind, professional, and efficient. The last time that I used them on 12/29/2021 I was there for a Covid-19 test. The line outside was very long but they stayed organized and took care of 30 Covid test patients as well a patient with a laceration and a patient who collapsed and had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance in less than 2 hours. They put their lunch breaks on hold until after 2 pm so that everyone who had been waiting could be seen. Such a great staff to be around. Thank you for all you do everyday.
Honestly probably one of the best experiences Ive had at any urgent care. Everyone was super nice, efficient, & professional. Was seen quickly & everything went smoothly. Thank you all so much for the help.
Normally go to Patient First. My last visit there took 2 hours and wait room was 1/3 full. I went last week, and the wait room was full...so NO WAY was I waiting that out. So I looked online for a different urgent care....thats how I found THE BEST URGENT CARE EXPERIENCE EVER! I was immediately impressed by the well decorated, comfortable and clean waiting area. Next was the extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. No 129 pages of forms to complete either! I waited about 10 minutes and was called back. Very nice nurse took some vitals and within 5 minutes the doctor walked in! What is this place....I thought I was dreaming. The doctor was nice, ordered a Covid test as I had had some symptoms. Got my DX and was done.Yesterday my granddaughter was very sick. Did a walk in at the pediatricians office (no appointments available)...wait time 2 hours:(. So I called PACS. They were able to give me an appointment in 45 minutes. We arrived....took her to a secluded room immediately to do a COVID test....then straight to an exam room. Negative for Covid...ran a flu swab, neg also. She had a respiratory infection. Dr. and all staff EXTREMELY nice, kind and efficient. Again, I was impressed! This is my new doctors office!!!!
I am happy to have that office in our neighborhood, it is one of the best urgent care facility Ive ever visited! Everyone in the office include the doctor that I interacted with were so nice, friendly, helpful and answered all of my questions. Also the facility was super organize, clean, and finally easy parkingI recommend it to anyone
Nurse manager Tisha and Mariam at the reception showed me an exceptional patient care. They went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met. Healthcare workers like these two are what make people want to come back to a clinic. Great service!
Very good experience at PACS urgent care. We arrived 5 min before they closed, but everyone was gracious and patient (even when my child screamed). They took care of us and had child sized boot and crutches. Would definitely go back (of course, hope to not need to!)
Heard about this place from a friend. I came all the way from Herndon and it did not disappoint. Best urgent care I have been too. Staff was very kind and efficient. No wait time. The doctor was very knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend. Great addition to that area.
The young lady at the front desk was super attentive, friendly and nice. Doctor shamma and nurse were nice and helpful as well.
Went in for a sore throat and the staff was super welcoming, nice and professional. I didn’t feel like this was an urgent care but as if I had been coming here for years. I recommend going here if you need fast and wholesome experience.
Front desk assistant had their AirPods in, casually chatting on their personal phone. No sense of urgency, long 2hr wait time at least
I got a insect bite on my arm from a spider that had been getting worse, so I went to this location was told that the place did not open until 8am, which is fine even though the door was open with a sign that said open as I walked in at 755. There was no real wait and the receptionist intake process was quick and the front office staff were friendly. They had a new nurse that seemed extremely nervous, but that was nbd, could see she was trying her best. The doctor was good and I was satisfied with the diagnosis/treatment, but the paperwork at the end had my height/DOB wrong, and what I had said to the staff about when the bite occurred. The DOB typo resulted in the pharmacy initially filling the RX without being able to bill my insurance. Overall decent office.
It was my first time to this urgent care. I have no appointment, buy they accomodated me immediately. Staffs are amazing! They are so nice and very helpful. Highly recommended!
Dr. Elsayed is a very professional and competent physician with a pleasant and unassuming demeanor. His staff are lovely people, helpful and friendly, clearly all very service-oriented, not just barely going through the motions as so many places. An excellent experience and Ill definitely be back when I need caring medical assistance. Thank you!
I had a great experience here! They only opened a few days ago, yet they are clearly very organized. Check in was fast, my nurse and the provider I saw were both friendly and efficient. Everything is new, and clean, and whenever the need arises, I will definitely return.
I picked them because thry open at 8 (some others I saw didnt open until 9). It was easy to make an appointment online in the middle of the night for early the next morning for my child with ear pain. The ground level office was well marked, and parking was close by in the Harris Teeter garage. The admin, nurse and doctor were all friendly and there was hardly any wait to be seen. Will go back whenever we need urgent care. Big thank you to PACS Alexandria!
I WILL definitely come back. They did a great job taking care of my LO who was having a rough day. The clinic is clean...the staff is welcoming and friendly...the doctor listened answered all my questions (first-time mum who gets nervous about everything and is nything).
I have no clue how PACS in Alexandria has 5 stars from every reviewer, must be family, friends, and/or paid actors? This place is a sham, do NOT go here for any care let alone “urgent care”. Staff members are rude. The doctors barely know what they are doing (if at all), and I submitted my concerns via the contact form on their website describing what a horrible experience and disservice they provided to my wife at this urgent “care” facility. These people must think ignoring customers and sweeping things under the rug will shut me up, well they haven’t heard the last from me.
My first experience here was great. It was efficient and everyone was so nice. Id definitely recommend to anyone who needs Covid testing or any type of urgent care. I had 0 wait time and am pleased with all services provided.
PACS is clean, convenient, and in a great location. I’ve been here twice and each time they were able to see me right away but not without compromising care. I was able to do all my tests at PACS directly and it was a smooth process. Usually going to urgent care is stressful and the average wait times are long, but I didn’t experience any of that. Parking is also free!
After being told by another urgent care that I would have to wait an hour to be seen, I walked in hoping the wait time would be less and I was out of there in the time it would take me to see a nurse at another urgent care. From the moment I walked in, till I was discharged, everyone was extremely efficient and caring. The staff addressed all the concerns I had and explained everything throughly.
I went there today, super tired and sick. I can’t thank the staff enough for making the trip easy on me! Quick and caring for their patients! Thank you to the receptionist, the lovely nurse, and my physician for their care and answering my concerns!
When I came into this facility I was a little skeptical because of the world we are living in today . However , as soon as I stepped foot inside I felt a sense of calmness. The student doctor, official doctor and last two nurses my daughter and I seen made us feel comfortable going into a health facility again. They treated us with respect and great care, as if we were a family member of theirs and that is what I missed about healthcare facilities these days . Since the pandemic everything has been robotic , but not here ! I strongly recommend this place because they are very educated and understand there are numerous illnesses in this world and not just ONE !!! We will definitely be making this our primary go-to if we should ever need it . It’s hard to find nice healthcare these days but if you come here I promise you will not have to look any further. My baby thanks you all. That lollipop at the end of our visit really lifted her spirits and for that I will always be grateful for the care and family like love you have shown us . I wish you all the best and may your healing minds and hands touch all of us so we maybe restored even better than we once were before . Thank you !
Amazing service! Everyone was so kind and helpful. We were seen immediately and everything was thorough. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic. It was clean, friendly and some of the best service I have received. 5 stars.
Took my daughter and myself in for Covid testing. They were very friendly and great with my three year old. They brought me back to my room right away with no wait or exposure to others. They were thorough and informative. Testing was easy and fast I’d definitely come back.
I went to Moustafa Shamma because I have an injured rotator cuff, and he was extremely professional and very courteous, if I ever in the future have any issues I will definitely be going back to him
Great experience! We went in for COVID testing and were seen immediately. The customer service was stellar from the front desk to the physician. We will be using this as our primary urgent care facility moving forward.
Called them at 7:30pm to see if they could take me in due to a possible food poisoning and they were very nice and helpful. The nurse on the phone(couldn’t get her name sorry!!) asked if I was okay to take a covid test and took me in right away as soon as I got there. Dr Hammad saw me 10 minutes into the appointment right after I took my covid test and he was very thorough with his physical exam. I live down the street from this urgent care and I hope I don’t have to come back but I definitely will if needed! Thank you to the staff for their positive energy
With the uncertainty going on in the world pertaining Covid it was refreshing to walk into such a positive environment. I can tend to be more on the anxious side and Tisha was very reassuring throughout the process. My rapid test gave me peace of mind and I was also able to clarify some of the misinformation i had received doing my own research with the doctor. The location is convenient and I was able to walk in with no problems. I will definitely be returning.
I got laceration yesterday. I got special tape treatment without suture. It was nice but my wound still shed little bit of bleed. So I came back and could get glue and tape treatmet again. Docotors, nurses, and staffs here were very kind and considerate. this building is new. My experience here is very amazing. I highly recommend this ER.
Start by saying this place is CLEAN! To me that is very important - equally important, everyone in this office is extremely nice. I like that they are fast and they make you feel comfortable enough to ask any questions. 10/10 recommend.
Would rate ZERO stars if I could…customer service over the phone was inconsistent and confusing, they had us drive all the way across town just to tell us once we got there that they couldn’t serve us. Absolute LACK of communication between front and back staff. Not to mention how horrendous the parking garage is and directions to get in and out of it. Absolute WORST urgent care experience I’ve ever had and we couldn’t even be fully seen. They also have waiting chairs out in the cold and force SICK patients to wait outdoors…makes absolutely no sense.
PLEASE READ: THE DOCTOR DID NOT WASH OR SANITIZE HIS HANDS. (See details below.)Im confused by how many good reviews this place has received. I did not have a good experience there. They are severely understaffed and therefore inattentive. I checked in and waited for about an hour in the waiting room before waiting another thirty minutes in a patient room to see the nurse who was very rushed. Another 15 minutes or so later, the doctor came in. The patient room I was in did not have a sink. It did have a hand sanitizer dispenser though. I guess better than nothing. But I noticed something disgusting: THE DOCTOR DID NOT SANITIZE HIS HANDS between entering the room and performing the physical examination. I imagine the excuse would be that he must have washed his hands prior to coming in. But think about all of the germs on that door knob or on the actual door (that he touched when he knocked). Especially given this is an urgent care that tests for COVID, where I would expect to see a lot of acutely sick patients, ITS DISGUSTING AND NAUSEATING to know THEY DONT TAKE HAND HYGEINE SERIOUSLY ENOUGH. Its a given that in any medical practice that should be a top priority. Even that aside, after the doctor left telling me to wait for my discharge papers, I sat there for another ten minutes with no one checking in. After not having anyone deliver my discharge papers, I opened the door only to find all the staff busy. Thank goodness I left my door open while waiting another 5-10 minutes because only then did the doctor notice I was still waiting and make sure someone came with my discharge papers so that I could finally leave. The cute decor and great reviews made me want to come here. My actual experience at this clinic ensures I will never be back.
I’ve been here twice this week for a strep test for my son and then again for myself a few days later. My wife came as well for a strep test. (It’s been a week). PACS urgent care was friendly, fantastic and fast every time! My family will be back for sure. Although hopefully not anytime soon.
Very efficient! I spent less than 30 minutes and they got everything done quickly! The clinic is very clean and the staff were very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this urgent care to everyone!
Got here feeling very unwell at 7:38pm, receptionist told me that they were done for the day, and the doctor was not going to see any patients. Very disappointed.
I waited 5 hours in this facility with my daughter who had Air pain all night long after five hours to Mr Dr Shama I guess his name he saw her and said I will send prescription to the CVS it’s been a week I waked the CVS 3 times they said we don’t have the order, no after I called the facility they said we will send it now,Imagine the pain that Little girl had every right tired in school because she had over night for a week now so frustrated
Stumbled upon these guys by looking up top rated urgent care near me and boy do they live up. I was seen immediately (although if you’re ever waiting please be patient, urgent care clinics do their best to be accessible to all and that might come with waits sometimes), they all listen so well, and I know anyone and their mother would feel cared for here.
I’m so thankful for the level of care this urgent care provided. They were able to see me fast, the Doctor explained my issue accurately and had me out of there in under 1 hour. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this urgent care!!!
I wanted and I was attended to promptly. The doctor that saw me was Dr. Arelene. The r reason I’m writing this review is because I loved her! She was kind attentive and really listened to my issues and tried her best to find a solution. Thank you!
After another doctors office rescheduled me for two weeks out I went here and they were able to get me treated for a minor issue I am having. It took about 45 mins in total and all the staff were professional.
I genuinely love this place. From the receptionist to the doctors. Great practice overall!
I cannot truly find the words for how thankful I am for the care not only from this amazing doctor but everyone who helped him as well! Porschia was truly an angel right along side him they kept me calm and truly gave me the best care I’ve ever had from any hospital or doctor! This urgent care has true guardian angels who work here anything ever happens to me or anyone I care about here is where I will come! Thank u so so so much he really did a work of art on my cut and they have the best personal care I’ve ever seen!
I went here for the first time was was seen by the nurse and then doctor immediately-no wait. The nurse, Tamika Lewis, and the doctor, Hamid Yazdi, were kind, sensitive to my situation and fast. They explained everything fully and the lab results were back in about 2 minutes. I highly recommend this place!
Im from out of town. The establishment is beautifully designed and maintained. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The Dr. was so friendly, professional and helpful. If youre looking for quick, quality healthcare services definitely check them out!
Everyone who worked at Pacs in Alexandria could not have been nicer - they made urgent care a pleasant experience and we felt like we were in very good hands!
The worst experience ever.1. The Staff could not fill out the report of symptoms properly. Even I would have asked more questions about symptoms of a person who just travelled internationally. I tell them that I have congestion in my lungs, but they report that the congestion is in my head. Two different things!!!2. Was offered only a rapid Antigen testing for covid. It was negative, however, there is still a chance that the rapid test showed improper result. Never was offered the PCR, even if I asked for it. The infamous doctor just does not care about my family and colleagues that I have to get in contact with.3. Dr. Walid Hammad was ready to discharge me. And nobody asked me what is wrong with me.4. I personally had to ask the doctor to do the flu testing and chest screen.5. Flu test is positive and there are some bad signs in the lungs that Dr. Walid Hammad did not even try to explain properly. It feels like he has more important stuff than taking care of patients. What’s up with the dude?6. Now, I am more worried of what is happening with the lungs than before I came to the pseudo doctor. The most careless doctor I have ever met.DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER TO COME TO THE PLACE! INCOMPETENCE IS ALL OVER IT!Overall:- no fever check, they just trusted my words;- they trusted what height and weight I think I am;- they did not even check my lungs, and that is a regular procedure when you attend the doctors;- symptoms are filled out improperly, which means they do not even listen to you;- terrible attitude from pretty much everyone, except one nurse who gave me the discharge papers, but she was not ready to answer my questions and the doctor never came out;- nobody tried to tell me what’s wrong with me, they just wanted to discharge me as soon as I got there. And I almost never get seriously sick, it happens very rarely and I sure understand if I am sick. Once in ten years.I guess the name Urgent Care means that they urgently need to discharge you without helping you!
The staff were nice. The place was clean. I had hardly any wait time and Dr. Elsayed was very professional, polite and thorough. Plus they were open late on a Sunday when most in Arlington close at 5:00.
Excellent fast professional service in a clean environment with excellent customer service. Filled the Gap on a weekend when my primary care provider was unavailable.
The most welcoming and caring staff. No wait time, as soon as we arrived the staff were wonderful and got my mother in right away. Great skill and in-depth knowledge. Here is where you can get the best care.
John took excellent care of me. The doctor reassured me that my evaluated blood pressure was not an acute problem. He gave me advise on how to monitor and manage my condition. I was in and out in 30 minutes.
The staff is very nice and always give my toddler some toys or lollipops after her visit. The facility was built in covid times so each room has its own ventilation system. There is also a separate room that has its own entrance — this room can be used for babies to avoid having to go through the waiting room.
I got to see a doctor very quickly. Got x-rays done and I was in about 40 mins. The staff very friendly and the doctor very professional. This is now my favorite urgent care in all Alexandria area. Please, go and see it yourself.
The staff here is excellent. I had great treatment for my finger sprain despite the office being busy by the volume of covid related issues coming through the door. This office is professional & friendly. Highly recommend.
I had a really great experience at PACS Urgent Care Alexandria. The staff was nice, attentive and the doctor made my visit a smooth and a comfortable one. Best Urgent Care I have visited! I Recommend!
Great office and exceptional, caring, staff. This place is new and it shows in a good way. Beautiful, clean, and convenient location. Most importantly, the doctors are experienced, knowledgeable, and empathetic. This will be our go to for emergency medical services.
I was seen quickly. Able to get back to work and all of the staff that I came encountered, ones who were assisting me and not, from beginning to end, we’re all friendly and showed a sense of concern. Probably best urgent care/hospital I’ve ever been to.
I have been to this location 4 times since they opened. Each time I was seen pretty quick. No long wait. All the staff have been very friendly and easy to talk to. All very kind and helpful! Great experience at each visit!
Today was my first visit to PACS urgent care. First impression, everything was clean and all the staff was friendly. What I loved most of all is that I was seen quickly upon entering. Ive NEVER seen a nurse/doctor that quick in my life! I went in because I was suffering from dizzy spells, which isnt a new thing for me, but its been especially bad for these last few days so I went to see a doctor. Dr Hammad is the first doctor Ive seen that has ask me if Ive heard a noise while experience the dizziness I said yes and explained the noise and then he checked my eyes he noticed a nystagmus and told me I likely have vertigo and need to see a specialist for the ears. Ive mentioned my dizzy spells to several doctors through out the years and all want to tell me its stress or Im dehydrated, none have ever asked about a noise or checked my eyes!!!! Im so very happy I saw Dr Hammad today! I might finally have an answer to my dizzy spells! Which makes me so very happy!! I wash they did primary care, because Id so have him be my new doctor!! He listens, cares and explaines, more important he is NOT dissmive of what you are telling him. I will certainly return here if ever in need of care again.
This place was recommended to me by my mom and I love it! Everyone is friendly and extremely professional. Didnt have to wait too long to get seen by the doctor or the nurse or even at the front desk!
I live across the street and I highway recommend this place. They were very gentle and understanding. Considering the time we’re in the wait wasn’t too bad they sanitized and ensured I was comfortable. The DR was knowledgeable and I’m leaving feeling okay! Try them out!
Great, excellent, superb service! Everyone was super friendly, I was able to get in and out so quickly!! We came in for Covid testing and was in an out! Team and nurses and doctors were super friendly and warm will definitely come here from now on versus patient firs!!
